Best Discogs management app around
I absolutely LOVE this app. I had been looking for a Discogs replacement app for a while as I don’t like how the official Discogs app forces you to only sort alpha by band or artist first name. Well this app gives you an option to sort by last name and to use a custom sort! Only a minor issue in the sorting as the app puts certain bands that begin with A or I in a different position than where I think they should be, but that’s a minor minor issue. I love being able to add tags to my items and even multiple tags if I want. I also prefer how the album data is presented more then the official Discogs app. And don’t get me started on the reports… oh wow they are incredible. Make sure to purchase the Pro version to unlock the apps full capabilities. You won’t regret it. The app developer is also extremely responsive to support if you need to use it.
Does not have same sign in options as Discogs
Discogs allows signing in with google, but that isn’t an option on this app. So there’s no way for me to log in with my existing account. The “contact us” button on the login screen throws an error.
Almost perfect..
I love this app to bits, it’s loads better than the app that Discogs provides, particularly where organization and UI are concerned. I’m still trying to find a detailed explanation of what the pro version entails, because rn it doesn’t seem like I received any upgrades or new features that I didn’t have while using the free version. If the $10 is just to support the developers, I have absolutely no problem with that, but if that’s the case there needs to be transparency. Forgive me if these are things that already exist behind the paywall, but if that’s the case I’m not seeing it. 1. I wish there was a way to add collections and tags for records that are in your wishlist. I have many records that I’d like to purchase eventually, but some are more important than others. I’m sure most people can relate to that. I would love to be able to tag records in my wishlist as “most wanted” or “high priority” for easy viewing of records that I really want to keep an eye on in the Discogs marketplace. Currently, when I long press on an album in my wishlist I DO see an option to tag, but when I click on the tag button, the app force closes itself. I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or what?? 2. Also, I’d like to be able to upload proper album art for my wishlist as well. Sorry, but the Discogs community is absolutely useless when it comes to uploading quality and cohesive album art, which it’s something that, for me, makes browsing discogs web/app super agitating. I think these two simple features would turn this app into a 5 star app in my book, and improve the user experience tenfold. Very grateful for this one either way. I love having an organized, digital home base for my vinyl.
Frustrating!
Every t8me to start to us this program I have a problem. Maybe I’m the problem, LOL. Each time i open it to add new titles (CDs, vinyl, whatever), it opens on a different page and it takes me a while to start again from where I left off. What am I missing, doing wrong. Please help!
Needs some work
Overall it is a nice app, but definitely needs more attention from the developers. I bought a PRO version, which worked for a while, but when paid functionality stop working… I had to request a refund from Apple Store
The Best Discogs app
Love this app, I’ve sent the developer a tip twice because it’s designed so well. Makes it fun to explore my collection.
Nag to buy makes it useless.
Nag to buy gets progressively longer the more times you open the app. I don’t need any of the paid functions, I just want my collection available offline, now the nag to buy takes so long to dismiss the app is useless.

The developer ignores issues
The app has a nasty bug relating to scrobbling. I wrote to the developer but he basically ignored me. It’s been months and the issue has not been fixed.
Great potential!
This has the potential to replace the Discogs app for me, but it’s lacking a very important feature. It doesn’t offer quick access to the recent sales history. The history tab only shows the low, median, and high price, not the actual recent history. You can get there, but it takes several clicks and steps to get to it.
Love it
My go-to app for all things regarding my collection. Super easy to catalog everything. Saved me a few times at a record store to check if I already owned something. I like the ease of barcode scanning and entering catalog numbers when I’m shopping to quick link to music samples and see if it’s something I’m into or not. I love this app.
Pointless
I can catalog my collection just fine without any app. Particularly one you have to pay for. Plus it’s already there on the discogs site.
Bricked App
I can’t understand why you removed the all category on your app. If I put a band in multiple genres I can no longer see all the albums I own by one band at one time. I have to scroll through multiple genres. This essentially bricks your app for me as a tool to purchase records while I am at the store. Edited: I found the All button it is now under the new Pro settings which I did not see had been added. I don’t mind paying for pro. Yo7r app is invaluable to me. I have changed my rating.
used to be great
used to be great, not so much after a while. the pop up asking you to upgrade adds seconds to it on each use so i have to wait 30-40 seconds to use the app which is very tedious and makes me want to donate less
Tolle App mit Potential und kleinen Fehlern
Endlich eine App mit der man seine Vinylsammlung erfassen kann und immer dabei hat. Endlich keine Doppelkäufe mehr. Funktioniert soweit auch alles super nur beim Export der Sammlung stürzt die App immer ab. Toll wäre auch eine Export oder Druckfunktionen im PDF Format mit Cover Bildern wie in MusicBuddy. Sobald das verfügbar ist und der Exportfehler beseitigt ist gibt es volle 5 Sterne

What Happend
This app was amazing but all of a sudden as of today I can’t log in with my Discogs account and it wiped out all if my Discogs stuff completely and after I deleted the app and tried reinstalling it has no indication of my Discogs stuff at all

Wanna love it but can’t
Such a great and helpful app… when it works. There’s always bugs, it always crashes, sometimes it’s barely functional. Really wish there were more frequent updates to prevent these kinds of things from happening

Bietet ggü. der Discog eigenen App, einigen Mehrwert, der den Preis rechtfertigt. Update 2022: Gerade noch gut, oder mit anderen Worten, gestohlene Arbeit hat seinen Preis. Und vergessen sie nicht gesund zu bleiben.

All buttons stopped working
Having to do this via review as “help” on app not working along with any of the key function buttons, cannot search, look at collection etc. also requires multiple sign in and authorisation through Discogs, once should be enough surely.
Getting better
The app is improving. I love the UI, and responsiveness of the developer. Crashes often enough to be annoying. Search needs some work. Otherwise, it’s a good app.
Bug Bug
L’application est très bien faite, mais ne fait que de s’éteindre toutes les 15 minutes! Je suis très déçu.
Last.FM scrobbling is nice but some things could be better
I most use this app to scrobble to Last.FM and for that it’s great, however, I wish some of the other features were a bit more advanced. Predictive text and autocorrect would be nice when you’re typing notes for an album. When you’re looking at an album in your collection, having a more convenient way to view other versions would be nice. A way to view/write reviews within the app would also be nice, rather than opening the web version every time. It has potential but there are still bugs.
The Flagship of Music Cataloging
Been using this for a while and have not even considered looking for a better one. Because there isn't. My collection is safe, and provides me with the knowledge to understand the musical quality/quantity of the media that's preserved. Working getting the full collection in; will take some time, but enjoying the education and adventure.

Leider funktioniert bei mir die angekündigte Nachnamensortierung nicht. „Bob Seger“ wird immer noch unter „B“ einsortiert.
iOS 9 and above? Not working iOS 10.3.4
Camera integration fails once camera is permissioned in iOS settings Email 'Send' not working (so cannot send exported CSV file, nor contact support) - UPDATE: This was down to my own device config. App seems to utilise native Mail functionality, which I wasn't using (I can't stand Mail in iOS or OS X). Once I'd reactivated an email account in Mail, the Send button became active in Discographic :) Cannot copy from email To:, CC: fields <- Also working now Mail has an active email account associated with it :) Dev, I'm raising these issues offline with full details of steps to recreate. <- Not emailed you as found another app that supports iOS 10.3 with barcode scan Discogs search Other users, I advise to not purchase if you're on iOS 9 or 10. Cannot vouch for later versions. <- See comment from Dev. I'm increasing my * rating by 1* because good comms from Dev! :) Any chance of an XML export of all info rather than just the standard CSV we can export ourselves from Discogs website?

Folders/Tags Don’t Work
Overall the updates look great but my folders/tags are no longer appearing in the app.
A great way to catalog your CD’s
If you use the online site in conjunction with this app, you have a great way of tracking your cd collection as it grows. And you have a way to learn more about the artists you enjoy and their recorded output. Plus you can purchase releases you never knew existed through the marketplace. The most recent update seems more cosmetic but is certainly appreciated. App stability has been very good to date.
Doesn't work properly
Using iPad Pro ios10.3.3 Tried to send a support request but the keyboard would not appear and there is no way to exit the screen and return to the app so now it is frozen with the support request screen and the only way out is hopefully to reboot. Can't imagine that such a basic bug has not been noticed and fixed. The app allows one to update the media and sleeve conditions but does not allow any data entry or changes to notes. This is quite useless as one then has to go back to the discogs app to make any changes to notes. It does not take advantage of the larger iPad screen and obviously is designed for iPhone only. Again quite useless as when I use my record collection I use my iPad to browse it as the screen is larger than the iPhone and the text is easily more readable. Like the way the folders are displayed. It is really easy to select a specific folder to view the contents. App has much potential but still needs much work to provide a smooth and really useful interface. One has the impression that the developers have really not tried that hard and not used beta testers properly.

A great compliment to Discogs
I use this app to catalog my collection. It’s so easy to use, has a barcode scanner, wantlist, and will pick a random album from your collection to play if you shake your phone! Love it!
App used to be great
The app doesn’t work anymore. You have to delete it every day and reinstall it for it to work for a couple hours. RIP the main point of the app is to add to your collection but you can no longer do that. It doesn’t show the artist you scan or even the album. I understand that Discogs changed something but this app should be compatible or what’s the point?!
Really useful app for music collectors
I’m only just starting to find my way around this app, but it’s proving very handy so far. My biggest issue is I have a very large CD collection 4000+ albums and about 8TB of digitised music which makes getting my collection organised is a real headache. It’d be really great if the app could integrate with Amazon [Goodreads does this I believe] or iTunes for my previous purchases or facilitate importing spreadsheets to add my information in bulk. I’m guessing that’s a bit much to ask but thought I’d throw it out there if developers are watching. Discogs itself is a brilliant resource I just wish it’d existed 40 years ago when I started accumulating music. I’m going to keep pursuing my organisational Nirvana in the meantime this app is a really useful addition to the cause.

Kann zu wenig für das Geld
Hab mir die App wg des Scanners gekauft in der Hoffnung, damit die Sammlung besser/schneller einpflegen zu können - das einzige Feature, was sie der Gratis-App von Discogs voraus hat. (Abgesehen von von Optik- und Darstellungsgeschmacklichkeiten) Leider funktioniert der Scanner nur so durchwachsen, dass man ihn als überteuert bezeichnen muss. Erstens: Die Software erfasst Strichcodes selbst bei optimalem Licht oft nur widerwillig bis gar nicht. Manchmal hat sie es fix, manchmal muss man ewig wackeln und/oder das Gerät drehen, manchmal geht garnichts. Die Folge: 20 Tonträger sind mit dem Scanner "von Hand" so schnell erfasst wie mit dem Scanner. Mist! Zweitens (auch wenn das ev. am Strichcodesystem und nicht an der App liegt): Ich hatte vor allem bei "Massenware" gehofft, mit dem Scanner den Varianten-Wust umgehen zu können. Leider klappt das nicht - der Scan liefert nicht sofort die richtige Pressung, kann manchmal nicht einmal CD und Vinyl trennen. Die Folge: man muss immer noch sein Euro-Exemplar aus einer langen Liste zwischen endlosen Bulgarien- und Zypernpressungen händisch suchen. Zu guter letzt fehlt der App die Message-Funktion, dafür braucht man dann wieder das Original...

After slogging through the Discogs app for what feels like ages this is a breath of fresh air. All the stuff you want from Discogs and more! Data, charts, facts, snapshots, Full Screen in iPad! My prayers have been answered, well worth the full price! Keep on spinning!
Mixes Up Copies / Not intuitive
I have two David Bowie albums - when I click on one listing the name and picture of the OTHER Bowie album pops up and vice versa!!!
Best for Discogs
It was the best app for Discogs. But recently won't get the prices from the website, or tell me things of a numeric nature such as how much my collection or a record is worth. Dissapointed this hasn't been fixed for a couple of months.
What's Haapened To The Valuation
Great little app and is still better than the Discogs app however lately it won't value my collection and keeps asking to log into Discogs even though I am and when I log in again it still doesn't work. Shame as I liked that part of the app.
Get the pro version...
I hate subscription-based apps where the payments are subtracted automatically. Like all of us, too many electronic monetary numbers swirling around too many accounts/apps. I'm trying to minimize what goes out without my explicit knowledge each n every time, so a one-time payment to their Pro version is ideal for me. Being able to switch between accounts is very handy, and the ability to list things in the marketplace is seamless. Not sure if I can export a collection to another account, or transfer a want list from one account to another, but if I can...6/5 stars. If I can't, I'm sure they'll jump on it. Fun fact: early creator of this app used to use my account to beta test certain features, as my collection is not only somewhat large but very "fluid" in the comings and g-...mostly just comings, as I have trouble letting go n selling ;)
Not Compatible With iOS 14
The app consistently crashes on iOS 14. When you click on any of your Artist Folders you get a message saying that the folder is empty. When you try to refresh the app it crashes instantly. Developers were notified about this during the beta of iOS 14, and they responded saying there would be a new update in a couple of days. iOS 14 has been officially released and the new version of this app still isn’t available.
Take note Discogs!
Good app! 4 stars as still no ability to use / amend Marketplace but I know this is being looked into. Beats official app hands down, which is astounding quite frankly. A keeper
