Easy to Use
Recently stumbled on to the iCollect db’’s. These are very easy to use and maintain my collections of books, DVD’s and music CD’s I had a problem reloading the applications onto my smart phone. Within hours a reply was sent telling hour fix my problem. LOVE THE SUPPORT!
Do not buy
I purchased what was supposed to be a lifetime purchase for $79. But it turns out it’s a yearly subscription and even with that the limit is 30 albums unless you purchase another segment. Complete rip off. Stay away, run for the hills and don’t look back.

I would like to be able to keep tracking of all of my music. I have a lot that is digital as well, and it’s difficult to find everything on here. Perhaps you could use a third party website to include more data
No tracks
Trial does not provide full functionality. Could not tryout bulk scanning without purchase. No matter. Scanning barcode does NOT show track listings on that total number of tracks on the CD. Disappointingly weak results.

I would like an option to change the format for people who collect songs individually like digitally instead of cd albums

I downloaded your app, & was loving it, until I got to the 30 CD limit & got your ransom note. A real shame, I like your app, & if you'd just tell us up front we'd gladly pay for the software. But a sneak ransom demand? Nope, into the trash you go. Such a shame...

In-App Purchase (Even Though Not Advertised)
The bad: free version limits you to 30 items in your library. The good: Very easy to use, very powerful search and updates system. It has a big library of titles across nearly every format available with a wide variety of search options. The wish list is great - keep a visual list of everything you want to acquire in a neatly stored location for that trip to Mill City Music in Hopkins, MN.
60 albums lost.
Just went on this app where I had built up 106 albums so far, now I only have 56. This took me a lot of time to do, plus I had to shut off my phone sometimes to get the information to go onto my list. So disappointed.
Great idea, needs more features
Needs more user-created field options. I am using the Music app. No Singer-Songwriter category or way to globally edit formats.
Missing Link
You can collect books, die cast cars, magazines, legos, stamps, coins, baseball cards or sports cards of any kind. But the collection is not complete until you have this app. It has helped me organize my collection and it’s an amazing assistant in arranging everything where I want it to go. If you collect, you must have it!!!
Price is ridiculous!
I got this because the previous app, Collectors, which I paid $30 for everything, was wiped out. Now after entering 30 albums I have to pay another $30 plus more on top of that to get the alcohol, music, games, books! So at minimum I have to pay $60 to buy everything or $120 to get the 4 I need. Ridiculous!
Came over from Sort-it
Initially had an issue with covers, now sorted works well but batch scanner doesn’t work.
It deleted my music after years of cataloging them.
I have used the paid version of this app for years. It’s not perfect, but I liked it until a few days ago. Out of the blue, it erased my almost 900 count record album collection. I guess something glitched on their end because the app came back with part of my collection. It’s now missing about 150 albums. I have no clue which ones without going through them all again 😡 what a pain! I will be looking for a different app because I don’t wanna go through this again.

Deceiving
Nice app as long as you have less than 30 albums. After that you’ll have to pay $30 dollars to continue logging your collection. Lame.
Database Is A Bit Small
I want to preface this by saying that this app has an amazing setup and I recommend it to avid collectors like myself. I started collecting albums and cds 2 years ago and have made it up to around 100, this app is great for organizing what I have an what I would like in the future. If you collect a lot of pop punk like I do, then be prepared to enter a lot of the new wave albums manually as the database does not have them (for instance: Palaye Royale, Sleeping With Sirens, The Maine, IDKHOW, etc.), however, the app does have most older pop punk bands (Green Day, blink-182, Good Charlotte, etc.). My only issue with the app is the time that it took to manually enter a lot of my albums.

App is crashing, please fix it!!
Good, but could be better.
Works ok most of the time but can be frustrating when the database can't find your cd. Be prepared to spend hours searching for missing cd's. A PDF export function with images would be nice too.
Great music collection organization
This is a great way to organize and keep track of your music collection. Great data base. Only issue I have is I wish when you are adding large amounts of items you wouldn’t have to keep going back to (Add…Bar Code yes or no …then Save) Keep it in Bar Code mode then Save for quick repetitive adds, switching to No Bar Code if need
Blatantly false advertising!
This app was in the App Store for free with in-app purchases. What really happens is you are allowed to catalog 30 of your CDs and then you are forced to purchase the app for $9.99! Wasted hours of my life carefully cataloguing my CDs only to get the bait and switch. It was very much not appreciated.

Since getting a new phone recently, I have enjoyed accessing my database. Very handy.

So Much Potential, But Room For Improvement
This app has improved greatly since I first downloaded it - particularly that the database has grown substantially and it doesn't crash like it used to. Unfortunately, some features have also been removed. For example, I can no longer add CDs that don't have barcodes. This is very frustrating and needs to be addressed. I can catalogue most of my CDs as it is now, but what's the point if I can't add them all?

CD catalog
Good app as long as you have lots of time to spare
Not great
Not as good as the movie collector from same company. Hit ratio on finding your cd is low using barcode scan. Scanned over 250 cd’s and only picked up 98. Strangely when you manually enter the barcode it sometimes find the cd but much info is missing and you have to input yourself. Not convinced I will keep using this so on the lookout for a better app. If hit ratio was better, it would be a good app.
Not Bad, Just Needs A Bit More Tweaking
It's not a bad free app or go pro for nearly £5. It adds albums with the camera bar code scanner, sometimes albums don't have an artist or wrong cover. However you can use the onboard app to look online to choose. Mainly it's ok however, I'd wish song titles to be added
Excellent Tool!
Love it. I don’t know if it’s my phone or not but I cannot see any letters are being typed. Are use the movie app and no albums app they are both excellent. Now I can actually find an album quickly or see if I already have it if I want to buy one!!!

GREAT APP BUT ONE BIG PROBLEM
I'm a cd collector and there's a lot of albums i'm looking for (nearly 5,000) I'm trying to make a list with all them on it but it only lets me do 706 before it jumps back, do i need to pay premium to have that many albums??
Lots of promise
On the plus site, this app has a nice interface and might get better. Not so good are the constant crashes, not being able to search other then by album title. If you enter the artist by first or last name that's how they are sorted and one gas to manually change the lot. No track listing and the $25 online app is a rip off considering the limited search functionality. Wait until next year for promised updates.
Perfect app for record collectors
Keep track of what you already have and/or the condition of each record. I often refer to my list when browsing in record stores.
Total junk
Imported less than half of my collection from their own old app. Also the database recognizes about 25% of my cd barcodes. When it does find a title most of the time it won’t save because there is no image or bad field data of some sort. This copany has always had some sort of excuse but no fixes. The next version is always to solve everything. You can’t fix acrummy database or sloppy coding.

Forced to Migrate Collection
Recently was forced to migrate my collection to their new upgrade. Lost half of my album cover images and there is no way to retrieve them short of taking a photo and uploading to the app. This is a collection approaching 2000 entries. Very poor planning and testing I must say.
Great cataloguer
Easy to add your new purchases to the list via camera scan although you do need to check the info is correct. It also is useful when buying to make sure you don't buy music you already have.
Has started crashing after 90 CDs added
App consumes MASSES of space. Now using over TWO GIG! App support web page goes to a fake site. Have to ask, is this app for real!!!!?

Don’t Update!!!
I updated and when I opened the app it asked me to sign in. When I did it said wrong info, I tried to have password reset and said my e-mail wasn’t in the database. I lost ALL my inventory! This happened some years ago and I was dumb enough to pay again. Not this time! Apple really needs to do something about scammer apps.
Great Idea, Needs Several Improvements
Issues that need resolved: 1. Album covers take far to long to load and I have a fast connection. 2. Certain entries won't sort alphabetically ignoring "The" in the name, despite setting the app to do so. Even after manually changing the name of the band to "band name, The", the app subsequently changes the name back putting "The" at the front and sorting under "T"! 3. Nearly no records are recognised in the database either by barcode scanning or manual barcode entry. I've ha to manually input all data on 95%+ of my albums. Please fix the above and the app will be great!!
Not happy
Bought the full version and found it very tedious, I want to save in second name alphabetical order but will not allow, first name first is not how I want to save my collection.
Nearly brilliant.
I needed this app because my cd collection is overflowing. I have had problems with scanning some of my older cd's but entering them manually is ok if laborious. It can be a bit "sticky" but I have the patience of a saint and can wait for it to save some cd's. Hopefully this app will improve with time and the bugbears that the other reviewers will be addressed. Apart from that it's okay. Just needs some tlc by the creators.
