Love the update!
This app has been my go-to for watching Struggle Meals and a bunch of other shows. I’m logged in so I can ‘favorite’ shows and pick up from where I left off. It’s clear that they’ve been pushing a bunch of updates to the app and I’ve been loving it. Also the content is amazing so that helps quite a bit.
Worst company thieves BEWARE
Very poor customer service that randomly signs you up for a subscription. Total trash and needs to be put out of business. Stole $50 from me and won’t refund my money says I’m stuck for a year of their trash. I will be writing a review everyday until this is over in July 2026. I did not sign up as I only run subscriptions through Apple TV. These people had to steal my bank card information to forge this subscription.
No longer free
I used to be able to use the app for free (limited options), but now everything is behind a pay wall. Uninstalling.
Meal plans need work
I like the meal plans but PLEASE have someone proofread them. There are so many inconsistencies between the ingredients list and recipes, the recipes/ingredients are vague so not helpful for someone new to cooking, and there are all sorts of other issues I’ve seen in just a couple weeks
Love it
I can now watch more Frankie and Struggle meals. ❤️❤️❤️
Customer service fail
I like to cook and liked the concept and signed up through a third party but didn’t find anything I liked. It was a hassle canceling after my free subscription and the customer service rep was rude and unhelpful.
Recipes are awesome
Love the recipes, although even though you pay for a subscription you don’t get the links to the recipes with instructions. I have to watch each step on video while I make the recipe I want. That part is a downfall to this app.
No recipes
I subscribed for a membership for the recipes. This app only give you access to the shows. In this day and age I shouldn’t have to go to a website for the recipes. I do not like that they are not accessible from the app.
decent
seems okay but not too much in the actual app but it works for the most part
Freddie New Kitchen
Help! Unfortunately l tuned into Freddie’s show on 3/28/22 around 3am and was totally shocked to find Freddie in a large brick kitchen and a really changed personality. No personality, no fun antics, no smiles, strictly business, as if he was being redirected. It was a dramatic change to see him that way and l hope the fun Freddie never shows up like that again. Help!
Terrible Customer Service
I don’t recommend signing up for this service.

Doesn't log in on Apple TV
Unfortunately this doesn't log in on the Apple TV no matter how many times their QR code is attempted. Not a great experience.
PERSONALIZATION!!?
Come on, I am paying a small fortune for this subscription, I can save series but not episodes, real annoying. There is nothing special about this app right now, besides it being bloated with no user experience for the users. Definitely won’t renew if this doesn’t change, I will just go online or YouTube to get this info for free. This app doesn’t even show the recipes, I have to go to the website for that info and that is free, explain this to me please??
Discover Beautiful TV With Tastemade
The Tastemade app delivers beautiful TV to watch. The broad array of creative ventures are unique to Tastemade. There is a strong effort to mirror all aspects of society which I appreciate. Local Flight & Beyond the Block are favorites . Tastemade has plenty of ideas to explore.
Support are you sleeping
Like the app the support seems to be dull, no response after 2 weeks of continuous email, even you call they will redirect to say email will be faster, this is one of the worst app and support I have ever seen in my life, can’t give 0 or - stars, otherwise it would be the case
Fix the TV
Wanna give 5 stars but the live tv button does not work. Love the app but kinda annoying.
Wow so confusing
Why isn’t there a menu item for recipes? The redesign is 🤮 Also want to watch video in portrait mode. Hate apps that reduce my options.. 👎
Missing the old Tastemade
What happen to the app.. I was a subscriber from the very begging.. I went to find my favorite glam recipe “Brazilian Flan” and nothing came up on the app.. please fix this issues.. i will cancel my subscription don’t loose sight of what you got loyal costumer for.. this is not a good channel this is a recipe app that have some shows..
Joy of cooking
Great program, omnidirectional focus really showcases versatility of food and nature
No linkage to recipes
Well the recipes are on one site and the videos are on this app. No integration. 1 star review - this shows no technical expertise
Yummy results
Before I had this cooking book my food tasted great but now it tastes fantastic. Cooking is my 10 year old hobby and my family loves my food now that I have this cook book. But it don’t have all the food I want to learn how to cook. 4 stars for me
Uhhh what happened
Lol this turned into Netflix like i can’t even find recipes anymore. The color scheme changed; everything is weird. Not into it. Not a fan.

Refreshing Television!
I love the Tastemade App. There is so much free content available once I got a feel for it I decided to subscribe and the low cost is absolutely worth keeping it on my Apple TV 24/7! No commercials!!!!!!
Useless
I find it absurd that the Tastemade iOS app has no reference/link to how to get to recipes. Nothing about Tastemade+, nothing in the account area to indicate subscription level. It’s pretty terrible. I signed up for a subscription thinking recipe links will automagically show up in the app, but nope! So now I’m just irritated and so I cancel the sub, before stumbling on the fact that I can find the recipes in the web app—only? Well that makes sense. NOT. And honestly, ok, if you don’t want to pay Apple for the whole InApp purchase thing…just don’t have an app. Crippled and approaching useless for someone who wants to do more than watch someone else cook.
Really good recipes!!😍😊
Love it!!
Where. Are. The. Recipes?!
Look, if I wanted to watch non stop Tastemade videos I’d scroll Facebook or Snapchat for FREE. I thought I’d be getting access to the videos and the actual RECIPES so I can try and make the crap on the show but NOOOOO. I wasted $20 for a year of basically free videos. Gave 2 stars because I actually enjoy the video content, but I’m angry that you don’t give your subscribers the actual recipes.

No recipes measurements
How do I find out how much of each ingredient for each recipes. All I see are videos of how they cook. What are the measurements You need to use. AKA 1/2 cup flour. How many once of milk etc. Please help.
Won’t let me sign in
I love the shows but I can’t ever watch them on the go because It never lets me sign in
Love the constant idea stream
At least once a day, for interest check it out for ideas.
Videos not working
Half of the videos don’t work when I try to watch them even though I’ve subscribed monthly. It’s ridiculous. I’ve tried deleting and re downloading the app, closing and re opening, restarting my phone and nothing. There’s something wrong with the app, go to tasty instead they have a more solid structure
Great and quick
Love the app, makes its to follow and do. Just sad that a couples of options are blocked.
Independent television
I really like the diversity, creativity, and world view I find at Tastemade. Roy Chows series on the future of food and raising awareness, Frankie showing you can eat great on a budget both make this a great 20 dollar investment.
Doesn’t work
Support isn’t able to help after several contacts.
Good
Easy to make recipes, good demonstration.
Poor Navigation
I’ve already given up on the app after 20 minutes due to it being very annoying to navigate. I think it’s overly complicated and needs to be simplified.
Dislike New Format
I LOVE tastemade. I love to cook at home and I receive so much inspiration from the cooks. HOWEVER, I can't stand the new update of the app. I hate the format and I hate that if I tap the screen accidentally, it'll bring me to a different video. Its especially hard to watch a video when I'm actually cooking. Before, I could easily pause the video while I'm working on a step. Now, its not as easy and I'll often accidentally tap the screen with my floured or sticky or greasy hands. I wish they hadn't changed the format at all. The old app was fantastic and extremely user friendly!
I like it
I was looking for healthy foods to cook and cool videos that get straight to the point and Tastemade did not disappoint. I signed up so that I can watch shows in my behavioral health clinic in the Woodridge area of Washington, D.C.
I’m a paid subscriber and can’t login on my iPhone!
I paid for Tastemade+ (after already shelling out for what is now referred to on their site as “Tastemade Legacy”—slick move, guys). I was able to use the app on my iPad and laptop, but the app won’t let me sign in on my iPhone—it keeps looping back to the “sign in via Google or sign in with email” page. It was the same nightmare with the Legacy subscription. Unbelievable.
Great app
Delicious recipes!
Terrible app
Everything is so great but the app? Holy mother of Christ! Its so terrible
More Recipes
It's a lovely app and the recipes available have been very nice to create in real life as well as easy I just want there to be more recipes available as well as a way to keep repeating one video.
Amazing videos!
Broken bread made me happy and heart broken at the same time. There is so much we don’t know about in our own communities and to see an agency at its peak and then lost speaks to ignorance. Surely if enough people understood the mission some of these agencies would surely still be open.
Horrible
I love the programming which I saw in my doctor’s office. It inspired me to purchase this app. Worse purchase ever. Why??? Doesn’t work. Can’t upload A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G. So far, I haven’t been able to resolve the issue and I am hoping that I won’t be out of $19.95. Not cool, folks.
Excellent but pricy
Very good UI and user experience, app is pricy which is why a one star less, cool recipes- fast and not dragging like the usual ones and engaging. You should consider a cheaper 1st year subscription and a longer trial- this will help in the retention rate. I love the app! 😀👍🏆
Keeps crashing
Love the recipes posted on this website although keeps crashing when I try to open it...saved a few to try out and can't access it now...😒
It's going downhill.
When I first downloaded Tastemade, it needed to be improved and it did. It became excellent. You were able to search for recipes and save your favourites! However, in the last few updates, they've started to push for a subscription. Which is not the reason I downloaded this app. I can't save recipes that I would like and they don't update the videos as often as they used to. Tastemade was good but needed improvement. As the "improvements" came along, things started to go downhill.
