Great product… could improve
I use Skip on a regular basis. I find the app interface easy, and the choices are really good. My one issue is delivery times. I’ve had quite a few deliveries take 2x as long as predicted. It can take 60-90 minutes to get food ordered from just a few blocks away. However, I will keep using Skip! It works well.
Disappointing
This company was sold to a British owner. Since then order are later and more expensive. No phone support.

I would suggest you use another carrier for services . I had never had a problem with skip in the past but the last few years it has tanked and this last incident has pushed me to never use this platform again . They cancelled my order . Auto refunded me with skip credits. I then went to re order my order elsewhere and the credits I had will not be applied unless I paid again for the order and they would processes a refund 10 days later so not only am I out of money twice for one order but I can’t even use the credits unless I pay for them . MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE ! I proceeded to try and speak with an operator and they were useless . Didn’t read my message . Responded with an automated msg about refunds and asked if she helped and to have a great day . They don’t even have people who are able to help anymore and give customer service . Go elsewhere it’s not worth the headache.

Scammed on my money.
Just got skip and did my first order. The courier didn’t deliver my order to me but confirmed as delivered. Connected to support team, explained the situation and got an answer: “as you’ve had a high number of refund requests we can’t do a refund for you”. BUT IT WAS MY FIRST ORDER!!! Disgusting service.
Let me change the tip
The inability to adjust the tip is becoming a dealbreaker. It’s bad enough when I can’t reduce it for poor service (which I think happens more if the drivers aren’t given any bonus for doing extra), but fine, perhaps your payment system doesn’t like small refunds. But there really isn’t a good reason why I can’t give *more* to a driver who went above and beyond. It’s a new transaction. I really don’t feel like a business is a good faith participant in the gig economy if they don’t let you show gratitude with tips. As it was, I gave him a pathetic little bundle of the few coins I had around, which was not enough. This is a largely cashless world these days, and I really had to scrounge just to find even that. I’m thinking I need to start having small Amazon gift cards on hand just in case. Or just go use Uber Eats, which I hate. Please fix this, or I really don’t have much choice.

Skip is far better than Uber Eats in every way. Their customer service is far better, promotions, couriers, restaurants offered, delivery time, ECT. Glad to have a Canadian food delivery app crush the game!

Awful customer support
I placed an order and it was missing an item (there were only 2 items). I then had to reorder the item and I was provided with a credit. This credit didn’t even cover the cost to reorder the item. Horrible customer service refused to pay the additional cost it took me to reorder even though they were at fault.
Address is not right!
The address on skip app is not right, the drivers always has delivery issues! I reported many times they said will fix it but never!

Literally a life saver for those who work later than most restaurants are open. I have to use skip daily while I’m away at work just so they can get me supper before I miss all the kitchens closing times

AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Refunds takes “Less than One Month” according to them
The terms say they will send a reminder email before the trial ends, yet they didn’t send any. VERY disappointing since I wanted to choose varieties other than Uber Eats and DoorDash. At least those have ethics. I should’ve read the 1-star reviews on Trustpilot first. A lot of people have had issues with refunds. I have never even placed a single order from this account since there aren’t many popular restaurants near my place. So I didn’t even use the service during these four months. The customer service team is also very dodgy and keeps saying two different things. I was told the refund form was submitted, yet when I asked how long it would take, they said “less than one month,” which is ridiculous. It seems like they want people to forget about these charges since that is the only way this business is making money. When I asked for details, I was sent boilerplate answers with a passive-aggressive tone. Overall, a very unreliable and untrustworthy service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Not worth it.

Ordered food app said it was delivered to my house checked outside (in a good neighborhood with cameras so someone didn’t just come up and steal the package) and it wasn’t there and the delivery driver didn’t even send a picture with the food on the porch, went to skip to get help for a refund left on delivered and didn’t get any help because I couldn’t check my phone for 2 minutes.

Deceptive Scammers
They dont let people write reviews to their order publicly, instead they give fake ratings themselves, to get help its extremely hard to reach support and even after reaching only to end up with template messages. Extremely huge mark ups n hidden annoying junk fees. The list goes on & on.
