I very much think Tims can do much better for the reward points and redemption. As in, the points should be higher or redemption amount per item should be lower.

This app does not recognize its own stores. If a store is permanently closed or under extended renovations, it will still recommend you to go there. The point system itself is a scam, forcing points to expire while NOT allowing you to use them on 2 items or more. I think in 2026, Tim can do better! This app feels like it was designed in 2010 by someone how doesn’t know apps! Keep up with the times please!

ALLL OF THE LOCATIONS EXCEPT THE ONE ON MARION IN THIS CITY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN-STAFF TAUGHT HOW TO CLEAN & BE POLITE & PLEASE RE-VAMP THE PROCESSES IN WHICH YOU MAKE THE ORDERS-My Family’s Jced & frozen drinks are melted by the time we get the food & STAFF ARE INDIFFERENT-RUDE-&-TYPICALLY QUITE SHORT WITH YOU-They’re uneducated about the app deals- they don’t know how to interact with their guests appropriately-There’s disgusting flies everywhere & the interior & exterior of their shops are disgraceful-We’ve left multiple comments & reviews of this & to no avail-It’s pretty unfortunate to see them flushing this ABSOLUTELY ICONIC CANADIAN BRAND-NOW IT’S OWNED BY B. K. & OFHERS…Sad
Lost all my points!!
The app did an update and when I logged back in, the over 2,000 pts i had saved were gone. Not impressed.
Need Apple Wallet Integration
App is pretty mid. Add Apple wallet support for membership and this’ll be adjusted to 5-stars
Excellent Service and Friendly Staff
I had a pleasant experience at this Tim Hortons location. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful, and the service was efficient even during busy periods. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and my order was prepared accurately. Overall, I appreciate the welcoming attitude of the team and the quality of service. I would definitely recommend this location and will be returning again.

Please allow proper drink and food customization
Great app except for one thing: very limited options for drink and food customization Starbucks allows its customers to personalize their drinks and food the way they want. Why doesn’t Tim Hortons allow this? For example, have options for light or no ice, light whipped cream, and half decaf coffee. For food, please allow customers to choose if they want any sauce in things like the loaded bowls, wraps and sandwiches. If an item is non vegetarian by default, allow customers to modify it so it’s vegetarian or vegan. Also, please stop marketing products with eggs or honey as vegetarian.

There are a few problems with part of the app. One thing I have tried to fix is it shows my country as Canada when it should be USA will not let me edit, when I contacted for help I was told to download another app and use a different email address. Which I will not do so I used as is and don’t load gift cards or credit card which means no ordering through app only in person

I have been ripped off by this app a number of times. By the way, you can only redeem one item and then have to wait 30 minutes to redeem again. Yet your points expire. Mcdonalds app allows you to redeem multiple times as long as it’s a separate purchase.

Should be way better
I have had this app for many years and the only good thing I can say is that it makes paying for my coffee faster. My chief complaint is that Tim Hortons makes changes to the app far too often and not for the better. This causes me to sign in while I am trying to pay at the drive thru causing me anxiety and the drivers behind me frustration. Can’t wait until DunknDonuts comes to Canada to create some well needed competition for Tim Hortons.

Menu problems
For years, the lunch menu will not open at 11am on the app. YEARS ! And Tim’s refuses to address or fix it. Ridiculous.
Payment options not doing good
Had to update credit card as old expired. And can’t add to this app. Only one as I was able to update all other companies information
Double charged for SF
I cannot believe that Tim’s makes you pay extra just for being diabetic when ordering from their app! Not only is there not standard sugar free items on the menu, if you change the regular syrup to 0 and add 1 sugar free syrup, you are charged an extra $0.60 even though you are not actually adding an extra pump. And no, SF syrup does not cost more than regular.

After the 7.1.503 version update, the favorite items tab vanished.

Inconsistent
For years its always something. Lately I order a regular roast and get a dark roast. You can’t remove recent orders and it still takes you 9 clicks to order 1 coffee!!
Can’t use my prepaid gift card anymore
I’m not sure what happened but when my app upgraded I no longer am able to use the scanner for my gift cards when I’m in Canada. I’m a US citizen who only uses my Tim Hortons in Canada. I use it when I travel to Canada . I opened up the app. I push this scan icon and it tells me that I have to choose between Canada and the USA to get my rewards. So it won’t let me in to get the barcode for my prepaid account. I choose Canada:English and it won’t let me apply it. This was never a problem before. Could you please fix it to make it easier to toggle between US and Canada?

Teas are so Hot
We understand tea must be hot but it is too much hot served. I wasn't able take sip of it burn my lips even though I am man it makes achy. Please think about your teas, we are human too
Why the app cannot talk to store system?!!
It’s so stupid the app cannot do the refund for the order that store cannot provide. The store kept saying they cannot do the refund for the mobile order, and the app shows nowhere to refund too. I reached out on the website, received an email stating only store can do the refund. So after kicking customer around, I spent whole Sunday morning to get the stupid $15 refund. Not sure why you kept encouraging people to download your app while it’s creating more issues and hassles

App could greatly be improved with a whole new Liquid Glass UI. As of right now very clunky and not user friendly.

I love the Tim Hortons app because it is user-friendly, I can pre-order, I love collecting points and it has good useful offers.

No reason to download; nothing works, offers are a way to offload unwanted scrap and the sole purpose is the Tim Card which still exist physically AND can be added to your Digital Wallet. Avoid at all Cost.

Great for ordering pickup right when you want it and/or for scanning and using your rewards. Otherwise you can’t even view the menu or really schedule for your morning if it’s going to be an early one.

Somehow Timmies has set me up with 3 different accounts now. The app update logged me out of the one I always use (which I didn’t know the email on) but was able to go through old emails to find the account and my missing points and offers. Annoying experience but at least it’s resolved.
Rewards don’t redeem
Tried to use my special drink reward on one of the refreshers but it didn’t let me despite the tier having it listed. I tried to switch it to the food item I ordered because I wasn’t planning on spending that much money (1450 points)but it also didn’t work. low key felt like a scam. If you want a good reward experience just go to a local place that uses toast or Starbucks rewards if one is nearby.

Delivery location changes
I used to use the app just fine to place orders for delivery. I switched to a new phone and suddenly now apparently no Tim Hortons location delivers to my area despite there being one that’s literally two blocks from my house.
Can’t order the breakfast crossaint from the app
It’s available all day on the drive thru menu but isn’t on the app my only complaint lol otherwise amazing app
Lowest Nat’l rating for service
Tim’s received the lowest National rating for service. I average about 4 stops a week. I always tip. I know it’s EXPECTED in this day and age, but a thank you would be nice. Once in a while I will get a TY and smile. Rarely. I always say‘You’re welcome and have a good day. Your employees should try it.
