ALL_CAPS_WITH_UNDERSCORE_SPACES_ERROR_MESSAGES_WHEN_DOWNLOADING_APP
Title says it all really. Got a horribly formatted error message telling me I need to provide more access than I want to in order for app download to continue. Haven’t even opened app yet and am thinking I won’t bother - better to just read my book on the flight instead,
Great improvements but some fixes needed
Re-discovered the qantas entertainment app recently. It works very smoothly on recent model devices. But still issues with announcements UI blocking the playback UI even after announcements have concluded. Have to hard stop the app and then restart. Good thing is that I can resume the movie conveniently. Bad news is that I must suffer through all the ads again. This really kills the experience, so detecting that the user has seen the ads should be tracked to avoid this poor experience. Apart from that it’s a great app
Doesn’t let me open the app
Downloaded it, I pressed it everywhere and it won’t open
not good
they did not add dexter for watching but i am satisfied of the flight i guess
Worked well
Connected to the Qantas wifi and watched a couple of movies. Wasn’t happy about my seat’s screen as it didn’t work and on a full flight, I couldn’t change seats. However I had the app and I had no issues with it at all.
Rubbish app
Unable to view the supposed 2500 titles to preview what’s on prior to traveling next week, yet the Q website states the only way to preview is via the app. Click on the app and can’t preview anything. Rubbish
Design App Picture.
More of feedback. Not sure if anyone noticed. But the new update looks exactly like the YouTube App without the white background.
Ads, ads, ads and more ads
No way to check the trailer of a movie. Be prepared to endure repetitive and incessant ads at the beginning of each title.
Plane Announcements should be added
It would be useful if plane announcements came through this app? Currently text appears to advise of an announcement but by the time users remove their headphones or ear buds, they’ve missed it. It should be relatively easy to port plane announcements through this app since other carriers already do it.
Way to go Quantas
So happy with the app for entertainment because I can link my noise canceling headphones to my phone and still watch the in-house entertainment. So much better than other airlines that I have to deal with in America
Continuously drops out
Maybe it’s the older regional planes but this is incredibly unreliable and is prone to continuously dropping out.
Very jerky and keeps dropping out.
🤔
Mid af
Movies section is half decent but not the biggest selection, 3d map janky af and no music only stupid audiobooks for nerds, not a great app, the screens on the seats were much better, bring them back!
Kept cutting out
Good selection but shows would only last 2.5 mins before cutting out. Kept needing to restart the app.
Slay capybara all day
I love it bc you can watch all the movies you have to pay for on other apps it’s amazing
Entertainment would imply it worked
Long day, late flight home - app says announcement in progress the whole time. Was looking forward to just relaxing, topped off by a late flight.
Good
I used this when I was going to the UK and I was pretty impressed. My friend found it pointless because we get TVs in the seat but if you are on the toilet you can still watch the movie you was.
😝😝
Personally it’s pretty good but there’s not a lot of movies to choose Fromm
OHHHH YOI
ME LOVE DIS
Sucks
Never works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bit annoying
If you once leave the app (to check an email say) then when you return to the app it frequently sets you right back at the start of the movie...
Useless
Useless
This app is amazing!
Great entertainment selection for long trips!
Never works properly
It never works for me more than 15 mins in an hour. Useless utter rubbish
Amazing airline and cool app
Qantas is literally the best airline in the world. I'm 50% American and 50% Australian and I just love going on this airline!! I love to have an app that gives you the entertainment qantas does. I'm happy to have entertainment from my favorite airline!! Wait to go qantas!!
Doesn’t connect
Even though there is entertainment available on the flight it doesn’t connect so I need to use safari to watch movies which is a pain
Wow
Finally a way to enjoy first rate entertainment from my iPad on those lengthy Australian fights. Kudos to Qantas and all of those involved in the development!
Entertainment on the cheap
Took a flight from Melbourne to Perth on a 737 800 last night. I was really surprised to find that there was no back of seat screens or supplied laptops to view Qantas entertainment! It was BYO flight. First of all you have to through the rigmarole of downloading the Q entertainment onto your own equipment which if it’s your phone is too ridiculously small to see anything. Luckily I had my laptop with me so had to do the same all over again and reset passwords to enable me to download. Flight was nearly over before I got to watch anything! Really cheapskate from Qantas. I expect better form Q particularly as it’s a full fare inclusive service and not a budget airline.
Disappointing due ads
There are too many ads that cannot be skipped. Users (who already paid to be onboard a full service carrier) must sit through several minutes of ads each and every time they start a show.
