Sees the OBD2 and connects to it but no data is downloaded. Hopefully it will be updated.
Great tool if you run into Leaf issues
First time leaving an app review but felt compelled to share my experience. The user interface is a bit difficult to figure out, I think that why it’s rated close to 3.5 stars, but it works. This is a great tool if you want to know more about your battery health but also like me you have DTCs (aka MIL/check engine light) Saved me a trip to the dealer and I was able to fix my no engine start issue. Even if you’re not a DIY person, getting the codes and using some AI you can at least have a good conversation with your vehicle service center. Finding the DTC was challenging, I had to ask an AI bot for help. Final note, yes you must have a Bluetooth OBD II scanner for this to work. Make sure you perform a search to confirm compatibility with the OBD II reader and this app.
Problem with leafspy pro
I can’t select the battery model or model year. The drop-down menus are not functioning on iOS 27. It appears there is an issue with the app’s compatibility with the new iOS update.
Does not work with the 3rd Generation Nissan LEAF
I loved this app to check out the battery health, etc, of my second generation Nissan LEAF. It worked brilliantly.👏🏼 Unfortunately, it won’t connect at all via the same OBD-II dongle to my 3rd generation car.😔 Will you be updating (or creating) a LEAFspy Pro app version which does, please?🙏🏼
Great app!
I used this app extensively on my 2023 Leaf and loved it! Now I have a 2026 Leaf and would happily pay extra for this app to support it. 2026 Leaf is an entirely different generation from the previous ones and not currently supported.

I just spent $20 and I can’t get my OBD scanner to connect.
Vital for Leaf Owners, Refresh Necessary
Essential for monitoring battery health (SoH, degradation, cell balance) with a compatible OBD-II adapter. I especially the ability to export trip logs to CSV for Excel/Dropbox. Pros: - Detailed diagnostics - Trip logging & export - No subscriptions Cons - Last updated 2023 - Clunky UI, hard-to-read graphs - Poor in-app help Request: Outside temperature & avg efficiency (mi/kWh) to trip logs for better analysis. Verdict: Best Leaf battery app—needs a refresh for 5 stars.

Cannot select which errors to reset for ios27 in the service menu.
Not so good
A pretty mediocre app, the problem is that it isn’t reliable. My tyre pressures are all over the place, the battery level differs wildly from the GOM, SOH varies between zero and 93%. Not good.
Awesome
If you have a LEAF, you NEED this app. Also, it integrates with ABRP(A Better Route Planner) to give you live battery telematics for high-end route planning.

Won’t connect to Nissan Leaf 2 2020 after update! After the latest update, the app completely stopped connecting to my Nissan Leaf 2 2020. Car is fine, OBD adapter works with other apps, but here—nothing. Same issue for many Leaf owners of this model (checked forums). Roll back the update or fix the bug ASAP! Very disappointed…

Helped SO much with purchasing a Leaf!!
I was test driving a 2018 Leaf and found out the battery had a bad SOH. I didn’t purchase that because of this app. I found one with a good battery SOH and scoped it out again with this app and the OBDLink MC+ connector. This helped me so much with finding a good Leaf to buy!!!

This app is great. You can see everything you need about the car. I have the le link OBD adapter. I was under the impression that leaves by was only for android phones but when I downloaded the app and connected it, everything worked!

App is an incredible tool
This app is an incredible tool allowing owners to see many aspects of their Leaf vehicle parameters. Including the High Voltage battery information and overall health. Low voltage battery is also available. I use it to reduce my range anxiety on road trips since it will show be the real battery State of Charge (SOC) and an estimated DTE ( Distance to Empty). I set mine to show the estimated range until real 1% SOC. I use this instead of relying on the dashboard range, which is more conservative. It also allows you to see and reset DTCs ( Diagnostic Trouble Codes).
scam alert
I downloaded the app out of curiosity. It didn't suit me and I immediately removed it. Imagine my surprise when a day later I received a notification that the application had charged me $20! The application is free on the Apple Store. In the application itself, no windows with subscription offers popped up. I open a dispute and warn everyone, do not download this application, it is a scam!

Expensive, non comprehensive and better to borrow than buy.
So £20 for what this does is expensive, it lacks the only feature i bought it for which is to turn the pedestrian warning sound off and considering its about £50 for this and the correct reader, it gives me information which i have absolutely no power to use to any advantage. Definitely worthwhile for a used car on something like 50-70k but other than that, expensive gimmick.
Great service when needed
Bought an ODB2 adapter that was said to work with the software, and it didn’t. Emailed the developer at 10am on a sunday and got a response back in 26 minutes giving me access to a beta that fixed the problem (which should be out soon). Very much appreciative.
Does not change reverse beeping or on sound on 2022 leaf S
I tried numerous times to turn off the beeping sound but the toggles on the VSP menu do nothing. I thought this was supposed to turn off these sounds. Waste of money.
Excellent functionality. Poor design
Expensive app but worth the money. It works well and provides the info that a Nissan Leaf owner needs. I’ve already had my money’s worth by being able to switch off the annoying reversing sound on my 2023 model. The only complaint is that the interface is poorly designed. It doesn’t follow navigation standards and the fonts and colours are quite amateurish

Although it says it there in small print, this only works with an OBDII adaptor, which you need to hook up and then keep there. I thought the bluetooth alone would be sufficient.

Doesn’t work for P3102 code
I purchased this app specifically to erase the P31102 battery code and it didn’t work , I had to get an android phone and buy the app again.

I like the app but when it is open there is a clicking sound near the left tail light on my 2022 Leaf SV. The are 4 clicks then silence then 4 clicks then silence then …….
Took a gamble
$20 for app not updated in years seemed like a gamble and would not do again if had the choice. I just wanted to get some more real time energy consumption data for my 2023 Leaf but the app reports a TON of meaningless stuff with very little actionable information. Lots of noise, broken features, ugly interface, etc. Wouldn’t recommend.

Really poor HCI interface for the amount of money this costs. If there was another alternative I would use it.
works on 22 S+
seems to work okay. using a veepeak wi-fi adapter. took a chance since couldn’t get a response from developer and just bought it. responding to customers could definitely be better if he is still even around.
Love this app
I used it to find out the State of Health of the used 2016 I wanted to buy with 41K miles on it. SOH was 86.1% 2 1/2 years later, and 8,000 miles of local country driving later, my SOH is 83.3% and I still have 11 bars. This in the cold New England winters and hot-ish humid summers, living outside, no garage. Sorry app, does exactly what I need to ck the battery health, charging balance etc.
No battery pairing feature
Have to track down and android and pay another $15 just for the battery pairing feature. Useful app but rating 1 star for not updating

Can t update sounds in leaf plus 2022- bug?
Looks like the vsp buttons do not change any sound. It silences it briefly for a few sec after hitting the modify button, then drive, reverse beeping, etc sounds come back. Bug to fix? Otherwise battery etc info all work fine.
Will NOT turn off VSP on 2021 LEAFs!
App works wonderfully for everything EXCEPT turning off VSP sounds on 2021 LEAFs, and that’s a shame because the sounds are MUCH louder on this particular model year. Please update the app to be able to do this!
2023 update!
Great to see updates after all these years! This app is a tool and you must read the manual to get the most out of it. It provides a wealth of data that helps you confidently squeeze the last bit of range from your LEAF. It’s not the prettiest design, but it’s practical and useful, like the original LEAF. I use it on every drive and have never found myself stranded thanks to the data out provides.
15.5 has broken the app.

Help
Plugged the Lelink2 in my Leaf 2018 and it worked, got out of the car after a few test. Came back and the device doesnt want to turn on anymore. I use a Iphone 6, lelink2 which is said you support it. Lelink2 talks to use it with another app. With leafspy pro the light sticks to red and doesnt go green. Help! In the app, I see LeLink2 plugged but in the settings I cant seem to set it in the system section
Automatic $$ Charge
This app showed up as free on the App Store, I did not accept any in-app purchases and was charged $20. I don’t even have an OBD yet I just wanted to check the app out- and upon looking it’s too complicated for me and I prefer the dealership. I need a refund as I never accepted to buy this or saw the price just got a receipt in e-mail which I’ve requested Apple to refund. It just charged me same-day but many hours after I downloaded the app.
