Nice, simple app
The thing I like most about this app is it simplicity. It does what it is supposed to do with no bells or whistles. It is supposed break up your work time into chunks of your own devising. When the timer goes off it's time for a short break. You can set the length of the break time as well. You get up and stretch or exercise or do whatever and then you get back to work. This is a great health enhancing app And it is one of my favorites.

I would pay to take away the ads.
The app is great- I don’t need stats, just a Pomodoro timer with options, that doesn’t penalize me for looking at the timer. That said, I would be willing to pay to remove the ads. I have to hide the bottom half of my phone to not be distracted by them- bad for an app meant to help with focus.

almost what I need
I was super excited when I found this app because it’s exactly what I’m looking for. I want to choose how long the sessions are, and the short and long breaks, and I don’t need any fancy extra stuff cluttering the main screen. The only problem is that the notifications don’t work! Yeah, they show up on my home screen, but I have all the sound and vibration settings on (both the app and my phone and watch settings) and yet nothing’s happening. If it would just vibrate my watch when a session or break ends, this would be awesome.

I’ve tried so many apps to keep track of how I long to study and this one is the best! So simple to change study length and study breaks time.

Not Fit For Purpose
Nice idea, timer worked for a while even when phone was locked but reset itself within the last 10 mins or so. Doesn’t do what it’s supposed to so cannot recommend, but interface and layout is nice
Watch app needs work
The phone app is fine - simple, easy to navigate and set up. The watch app is a different story. It works for a period of time and then just stops. I’ll press “continue” after a work session and it won’t connect with the phone app to start the next break. Which is a key reason I want to use it. I’ve had this happen about 3 weeks ago, and then deleted and reinstalled the app. Unfortunately the same thing keeps happening. If this bug can be fixed, the app is quite useful.

What’s up with the adds?
Why is there no option to opt out of the adds? This app is supposed to help you concentrate but you can’t do that with the lower banner with adds.
Nothing fancy, just a streamlined timer app.
Does what it says it will, nothing extra. I appreciate that you don’t have to pay to literally use a timer like other apps.

Nice and clean but missing a feature I needed
Love the simplicity of the app but sadly it had one major miss for me: the ability to disable auto-start on the breaks and timers. You can manually pause them, but if I'm trying to finish my train of thought before I take a break, I don't want to interrupt myself by having to reach over to pause the break timer. If that feature were added, I'd re-download in a heartbeat!

The simplicity and ease of use is great. Exactly what I’m looking for in a Pomodoro timer. I would just love the ability to remove ads.
Looks good but very flakey
This is a nice idea for an app. It’s also simply presented which adds to the appeal. The problem, experienced in the first few uses, is that it doesn’t work. Some problems that I experienced in the first day include: not sounding an alarm at the end of the pomodoro; different times shown on watch than on phone; starting the next timer when it should have started he break timer; not keeping a record of pomodoros started on watch. A 25 min timer does at least do what it says it’s going to do so I’m going back to that.
Just a couple problems
Pleeease fix these bugs. They’re driving me crazy. I’ve loved this app for years - I used it to stay focused studying in college, and I now use it while I’m working. It’s very simple and overall functional. I just have three issues. 1. The app for the Apple Watch NEVER gives me alerts when the timer’s done. I’ll be working and go over my work timer (but I don’t know it because it hasn’t made a noise), and I eventually realize it’s been a while, turn my watch to look at it, and the screen lights up and the timer goes off. So the watch version is effectively useless. I’ve messed with lots of settings for alarms, and I know my sound is on, etc. It just doesn’t work. 2. The phone app does give me alerts, but they’re always wrong if I’m not currently on the app. Just now I was on a different app on my phone when the work timer supposedly finished, so it beeped and the banner alert showed up. I tapped on it, only to find out I actually had over 11 minutes left on the timer. Why did it alert me that it was done? It wasn’t?? 3. Sometimes, the timer cycle just stops running. Just now, I started my work timer, then switched to messages and the camera a couple times, then went back to the timer and it had stopped completely and went back to displaying the initial time of 30 minutes. No reason. No alert. It's so annoying, and it totally throws off the work-break cycle I was on. So, basically, the app is most useful when I leave my phone open where I can look at the timer. Please fix these issues!!
Simplistic
I love how simple the app is and that it integrates with my Watch perfectly AND WORKS CONSISTENTLY. Could you please add an option to stop auto-restart of the timer, though? I would love that added feature. Thanks!
Problematic...
I lose track of time when I’m working almost as easily as I do when I’m taking a break. So I need something like this for studying/homework assignments. The trouble is, I’m also easily distracted when I’m getting notifications, so I put my phone on “do not disturb,” which silences the app... I don’t know if that’s a flaw in the phone itself, or if it rests on the developer... but it makes this app impractical for me.

Not reliable
I am disappointed with this app. It locks up and fails to cycle appropriately. I have paused it and then taken it off pause with the timer sounding from the original time while the timer shows 7 min left. It has never given the longer break after 3 pomodoro's as it is set. I work past my effective time and feel drained not productive using it as I become distracted by its inability to monitor time properly. I find my self attention switching to see if it is working properly.

Full of bugs
Sometimes it rings when the timer hasn't finished yet. Sometimes it doesn't ring. There are this problems when you may stop and continue the timer or do something like receiving a call or answer on whatsapp. I hope you can fix it, It would be the best app of this kind!
Love it
My favorite work timer. I've got 3 suggestions: 1) I wish that it could run in the background. 2) The alarm beeps are pretty annoying and excessive, I'd prefer if it just beeped maybe 3 times. It goes on and on and makes me want to throw my phone across the room. 3) I would love it if there was a Mac app! It would be great to be able to run this app straight from my laptop while I'm working, so I could turn my phone off to prevent distractions. Overall, good app. Thanks!
Beautiful but hungry
This is a well designed app with an intuitive interface. It shows adds while you're using it, but it's free, so that's expected/excusable. What's not excusable is how data hungry it is. Over the course of 3 hours, it used 20 mb of data! I'm on a limited data plan, so this was a bit of a blow. If you want to use it, I strongly suggest turning off data usage for this app. Beyond that, it also shows incompatibility with the current iOS, in that it does not reliably signal the end of a pomodoro when the screen is off. I will not be using it anymore.

The best app ever! Good job. No other Pomo app can beat this minimalism yet beautiful one. No ads. No complex but useless feature. By the way, could you add more statistics in the setting pane? Data on session completed weekly and monthly would help me.

Great with a minor problem
Overall, this works very well but I've noticed that if I have to pause a round, the notification that my time is up is based on the original start time and ignores the time for which you paused.
No alarm notifications
When I set the timer on the Apple Watch and it gets to the end of the timer, it does not notify me at all?! Not even on my phone. However when set on my phone, it works fine. Need to be fixed
Not a very good watch app
I wanted to like this, but it's very clear that the app's priority is the phone app, not the watch part, which makes it less than useful for me. There is a watch app, and it kinda works, but it's just missing too much. What's missing includes - no complication - no integration with Siri (and specifically the Siri watch face) - no notification that break times are over It's OK if you insist on a free app: attractive, apparently bugfree, does what it promises. But I'm willing to pay real money to have an app that delivers a much better watch experience.
Perfectly simple
Exactly what I want out of a pomodoro timer. It has all of the options you need and none you don't. Simple to use, really nice colors. And it has a watch app.

"Pro Version" has distracting banner ads
Misleading as other reviewers note because banner ads aren't mentioned before you buy. No way to upgrade out of ads. Distracting! With other pomodoro apps available - shop elsewhere. Can I get my money back?
Best watch UI. Not 100% consistent
This has the best implementation of a pomodoro UI on the Apple Watch I've encountered yet. However, the notifications that a timer has completed does not appear on the watch roughly 20% of the time.

Making me more productive
I love this app! I've only used it for a few days and I'm already more productive. My only problems are that the "stop" button is way to easy to accidentally press, and also the "long break" doesn't seem to be working for me.
Clean App, but I wish I could purchase the Ads away...
I’d give it five stars if I could buy an in App purchase for under $3 that would make the phone App ad free. It would also be the dream if it was cross platform and my multiple Macs, Phone, and Watch all knew how productive I was and synced together. Ok I’d bump the cost up to $5 for that.

Simple and effective, but buggy
I have been looking for a configurable, yet simple pomodoro app for Apple Watch. This certainly ticks those boxes. Unfortunately, the buttons to "pause", "end", and "resume" on the watch interface do not seem to work. Such a shame.
