Usless
I’m more than a year into my diabetes unless you make a feature like the practice that is actually your pump I’m only giving 5 stars so everyone will look at it
Worst
The worst it’s lagging with mine I tried changing the pump and tried changing the cgm but it was not working properly so pls fix this problem
Needs updating
Great app but needs to represent the current software capabilities so it is more useful for trainings.
Is it available in Canada
Why tell all the diabetes that you can bolus from your phone if it’s not available in Canada???
Not what I expected.
This app shows you what the pump would look like, but does not give you a realistic experience with it at all. You can’t actually simulate doing anything.
Works well with my iPhone XS!
I just downloaded this app because I am very interested in getting this pump and I have no issues with it on iOS 12 or iPhone XS. It’s great! I look forward to getting a feel of the pump via a simulator.
Occlusions
this app give you basic functions. However real life, it's nothing like this simulator if they had an occlusion that came up every day or two then you might be talking about a real world simulator for this Insulin pump Simulator Tandem Has a problem with occlusions before warned before you purchased this pump. It's a real life issues. Occlusion stops All Insulin delivery you must change cartridge infusion set tubing. If you are out you do not have these items on hand. This will Cause your blood sugar to go extremely high. your customer service reps are rude they seem to have a attitude. I called about a faulty sensor related to the Dexcom G6 The rep sounded hesitant to replace it. Defective or faulty sensors are required to be replaced according to FDA guidelines.
Bug - Control IQ Simulator is not available
I get 2 options, both are "With Basal IQ Technology" I am using Iphone 15 Plus. Apart from that, nice job and handy. I cannot practice for my CIQ unfortunately like this though.
App
Endlich bitte eine funktionierende App bringen und keine Simulation
I wish
If it worked with the Dexcom, I could also see what is happening with blood sugar and pump. Because the Decomshows on pump it will not show on Dexcom simply thing. I tried and can only get it on a Dexcom machine. So sad.
Awesome Product
I own a t:slim X2 pump and have LOVED it. If you have ever thought about buying one you should!! Best decision I have ever made. Soooo simple to use and takes no time!!
T Simulator bombs on launch
Was getting familiar with t-slim pump via your simulator program before deciding to purchase, on my Mac products using iOS 11. Apple just upgraded to ios12. Your simulator is incomparable with iOS 12. Have to quit learning your pump now, maybe this is a temporary problem?? Makes me think Tandem updates and upgrades are in jeopardy for Apple users in future Tandem improvements and compatibility issues. I would appreciate your input to your fix the current issue and also plans to prevent these issues in the future for us interested potential purchasing and users of your system. Thank you, Charles Trebnik
Dear tandem
I think it should have all the beep noises cause it tells the owner what noise it makes when you bolus or when it’s out of insulin and you need to fill the cartrige
Just OK
The app is ok but my main complaint is that it shows mmol/l with no option to change to mg/dl . I am in a country that uses mg/dl and I do not want to have to calculate what my numbers would be in mmol/l . In response to the reply from the developer. This is for the Tsimulator. If it were for the Tconnect I would have reviewed the Tconnect
Pretty nice but not overly useful due to resets
It’s nice to have this to prepare for getting this pump, but Tandem made the app in a way it won’t keep a session. That means that on every restart it resets your CGM (force re-enables it) and refills the insulin cartridge. Some settings are kept, but this isn’t. That makes it impossible to use this app as a true simulator (without CGM) and use it to pretend that you have the pump for a few days. You can’t properly learn. The infusion set replacement can’t be simulated either. So whilst it’s very nice this app exists, due to these choices: the app isn’t as useful as it can be and that’s a major missed opportunity. It’s a very nice app to get to know the basics, but it’s a shame Tandem doesn’t unlock the full potential by making it a true simulator that can mimic the pump as to how it would work when on your body. I’ve reported this 6 months ago, but Tandem made no changes - so I guess they don’t want to offer this useful scenario to us.
Thanks
Just started using it. So far pretty happy.
Bad app
Sure hope the pump I want to get works better than the app
Good addition but could be improved!
I like being able to see what my pump is doing without digging it out. One problem is it doesn’t update as often with out me doing it. The app is set to update in the background. It would be great if you could blouses from the app. If these two issues were solved I would give it a solid five.
Schlechte Funktion
Nur mäßig funktionierende App mit IPhone bzw. IPad IOS. System hakt immer wieder.
:)
Great tool to try out the Tandem pumps
The app is easy to use and allows me to explore every feature of the Tandem pumps without looking like a silly guided PowerPoint like other pump apps.
App Broken on iOS 12
App Broken on iOS 12
Great, but have a complaint
So first off: I love the simulator. It’s amazing and very realistic, but I wish you could actually go through and like pretend to change the pump. I feel that would make it more realistic. Otherwise, this app is very amazing :)!
Adapter now so where’s the real app?
I hope Tandem knows that Apple has a USBC Lightning adapter with a port to plug in USB devices in iPad and has a lightening plug so you can plug in a pump( if Tandem had the actual app that uploads reports from the pump for not just a computer but iPad) and a port to plug in the iPad power plug. This means you can plug in a camera or other usb devices and import to iPad and provide power for each at same time. Hopefully Tandem developers a function app for iPad soon.
Simulator app broken on ios12
Simulator app doesn’t work in new ios12. It crashes as soon as the app is open. Otherwise, the app is great when it functions!
Try it before you buy it
I loved having the opportunity to "try it" before I bought it. The screens helped me it see exactly what to expect! Thanks Tandem for making this user friendly.
Fix app
I downloaded the app with full excitement to see if this pump is something I want to get. It crashes upon getting onto it. Does not work. The app only has stationary read only pages, but no ability to use the simulation. Very unfortunate.
Alerts and Alarms
I love this app but I really wish the alarms and sounds would work because I would like to hear what I’d be hearing if I get the t-slim.
Not a simulator
If you can navigate a web browser to view the sales material on Tandem’s website, don’t waste your time with the app. I thought that it would actually “simulate” using the pump, or at least let me scroll through the menus. It does not.
Great App!!!!
So helpful to learn about what my boyfriend has to use everyday and understand!
App crashes
When I try to run the demo the app crashes.
Not impressed
I was expecting the CGM to actually work and it doesn't.
Want more!
This was a great hands on tool to look at the options and how the pump works before deciding or using the pump. Would like to see this as an actual app that the pump sends information to. Better yet, integrate it with the Apple Watch for alerts such as bolus max, low insulin, check blood glucose and so on. Five stars but would love to use it regularly, beyond training!
Simulator not working
I got this to “try out” the t slim pump. I’ve hadn’t Medtronic for 14 years and I’m considering switching. However every time I try to open the simulator the app automatically closes ☹️
Something is missing...
And it's all the really annoying confirmation screens that pop up when you try to deliver a dose. Oh, they also didn't manage to "simulate" the super annoying alarm that's impossible to completely disable. This sort pointless nagging is unfortunately pretty common... At least in my limited experience with diabetic stuff, and if pressed Tandem will imply that the FDA made them do it. Fine, but it's just dishonest to leave this stuff out of your "simulator". Pro Tip: If you went ahead and bought one of these bad boys... And you probably should because they are pretty, and well made, you can disable that alarm (in some instances), by turning off "key tones"... Don't think about that too hard... I'm sure it's a feature 🤔
Super easy to use
Easy to use app! Easy to use pump! A great way to see the interface differences between the tandem options. And, upon seeing my actual t:slim - it's a perfect replica. Every screen is the same.
Horrible
It just won’t work. And when it did. It doesn’t really work like having a pump.
APP REVIEW
I think that this app is great for anyone who actually has a tslim... but if u don't then y get it? buttt if u want it really bad like I do then go for it! get it! yes, it is a tube pump... but I have the omni pod and it'll be a big change but I'm up for it... and if u have a tube-less pump and u don't like this one u can always switch back to ur old one!!!! :)) hope this helped!
Doesn’t work
Simulator doesn’t work. App crashes when you open it on iPhone X
