It’s a hard use….
I’m having far too many issues with my device…. Shouldn’t be this difficult to conduct business! I don’t even know where to begin… I’ve gotten a headache dealing with this!
Extra 1.2% fee…
Very nice and easy to use app, Except that there is an extra 1.2% fee… This means that for every transaction there is a total fee of 1.2% + 1.7% + 10c 2.9% + 10c Yikes ! 😬

Warning fraud
This site is not stripe. I’ve been waiting 25 days for payment. They don’t have a phone where you can reach them. There is nothing on my stripe dash board of the $600 in payments, it just shows on this app. I’m going to be reporting them to the proper authorities. Don’t get taken like I did.

Unreliable
Worked great for about an hour, then it started randomly dropping the Tap to Pay connection with an “unknown SDK error” and just stopped working.
New tap to pay on IPhone in Canada doesn’t work with Interac
They claim the new tap to pay on iPhone works with Interac debit cards as well but when I try it. It shows please try different card and I can’t find any reason for it online.

Awful and not user friendly
The google verification with the Authenticator app associated with Stripe app is the most diabolical and frustrating experience I’ve ever had to go thru with verifying a payment account. Literally the whole thing has to be a strategy to collect peoples personal info and ids because the Authenticator app never works and it’s the only way to get into the stripe account if you don’t have the other ways set up beforehand if you say get logged out…say when your phone get smashed and needs replaced…I go to login to my account and now my Authenticator app isn’t working at all either. Now mind you my location services are on for the proper function. So im never using the app again cause it won’t payout the last 100 some bucks I made from a market hand painting work for HOURS…just cause a authentication app won’t sync correctly..I’m trying the whole data collect where they scan my face and all that but it just seems to be a scam to me and I’ll never see my money cause everything is locked/wont payout.

It’s easy to miss this detail, so I’m posting a review to bring attention to it. From their website: “The Payment for Stripe app collects a 1.2% transaction fee on top of your base Stripe fees for your country. […] In addition, a 1.2% fee will be applied to all Subscriptions created from the app.” This is apparently the only Stripe-partner app that supports “Tap to Pay with iPhone”. I reduced one star because I found the set up process to be a bit buggy (I already reported the issues to them).

L’appli fonctionnait bien jusqu’au moment où une nouvelle sécurité est apparue avec l’obligation de scanner un QR code… chose impossible depuis l’écran du téléphone, à moins de disposer d’un autre téléphone. Bref, impossible d’aller plus loin. J’ignore pourquoi un truc aussi debile a pu être mis en place…
Decent but def some weak points
Decent when you can get it working but relies on signal which in some buildings can be weak. Also, the setup was a pain and there wasn’t much online to help explain especially when the reader won’t connect to the software (in my case needed to be updated twice before working).
Ease of use
I really can’t tell you how much i appreciate the something with a start up business being easy. This is just such a big sigh of relief. I love how professional and clean the transactions are for both the business owner and the customer. It really gives a start up business the confidence they so desperately need in the beginning.
It works But…..
This app works as it says. It’s easy to use for the most part, and fairly straight forward. Beware of the steep fee they add of 1.2% just to send your information to stripe. Using a strip reader lowers your percentage to 2.7 and .05 from 2.9 and .30 but this puts 1.2 right back on it. I will be looking for another processor quickly. I don’t mind this developer making money, but I just ran a 700$ payment and they took almost 9$ for what? pushing information to stripe? i could have used the stripe app and saved a whole percent on this.

Great App
This app was suggested to me by Strupe. I’m glad I chose it as another app that works with Stripe - Pay.Now let me Down very badly. Works well and easy to use
Functional
Does the job, most of the time, but I'm not overly impressed. It seems to randomly reject cards which are then immediately accepted by other programs.
Best pricing but worst for product management
The fees and payouts are better than anything else I found, and this is easy to connect to a reader and use. My issue is that I can’t modify products. If I want to change a price, I have to make a new product. If I want to change a description or name, I have to make a new product. Payment on my Samsung tablet also doesn’t show the product names, so when I go back to update my inventory, I have to keep a separate log. It’s hard for my assistant and me to keep track.
cool little app
This is a good app to take in person payments. I’m using it with a Stripe smart card reader, and I love how it integrates closely with Stripe, since that’s what I use for my main online business.

Works great but I still can’t order a card reader for some reason. I wonder if there is a different way to order it?

GARBAGE DO NOT USE **0 stars **
Stripe customer for 6 yrs, they have no customer support only AI responses. Which never answer questions. Stripe will abruptly suspend your account with no explanation that you can understand. Again everything is AI generated. If AI think you have fraud your shut down for 99days no access to funds no explanation. SQUARE IS A MUCJ BETTER PLATFORM

Latest version doesn't work
Have been using this app for a few years and it's been great. But the new version with forced postcode is awfully implemented - with no way to edit an existing customer to add the postcode it makes repeat purchases unnecessarily complicated. Please fix and update ASAP!!!
Passkey ruined this app
I recently started using this for my business, I purchased a reader and everything. After just a few weeks they now require a passkey which has made this app unusable. My employees shouldn’t need my phone or finger print to cash clients out. Why did you ruin such a great app.
Took fees out of balance then refused to transfer to bank
We are a small business and we use stripe to take credit cards. It’s my first time using them, I went with them because they claim to have a 2.5% service charge, which is incorrect it’s 4%. I process the transaction of $77,000 which goes through with no issues, they take out around $3,000 in service fees, then a day later send me an email saying they are terminating my account because it is too high risk, which is okay as long as I get fully refunded the $77,000. Come to find out I do not receive the $3,000 in service charges back even though they could not process that kind of money. I then go to square and square tells you from the beginning the cannot process charges over $50,000 which would have saved me a lot of hassle and money in the end. I do not recommend strip at all, zero customer service and basically a scam.

Great that the app can scan credit cards and input card numbers automatically but there are a few small glitches that require attention to make this completely reliable. Still, handy for small numbers of on-the-go transactions. That said, why Stripe doesn’t issue a card reader app of their own is, frankly, baffling

I initially was approved to accept payments, so I collected over $600 through this app, over the weekend. Despite providing them with all asked for documentation and verification, they deemed my business “too risky”… and later returned all money back to the card holders. Absolutely a nightmare! I wasn’t able to reach anyone on the phone. Only through email where they responded with “there’s nothing more we can do”. Completely unacceptable. Do not use this app !

Easy to use. Gives us flexibility at events for on the spot payments. Saves time chasing unpaid bookings after the event. Fee is a bit steep but it is very convenient.

I have been trying to get a payout I was told 14 days when that 14 days came up no payment and when I checked the account it says my account has been disabled due to me not confirming my account. After hearing that I tried giving the refunded for the 2,200$ amount back to my client at which they told me I couldn’t do that due to my account being disabled. So after reaching out through 30 emails since you can’t call them (they don’t have a phone number support line) none of them were responded to but 1 which was very generic and copy and paste told me to just give a refund to the customer which I told them it wouldn’t let me so know I’m stuck in limbo where my client thinks I’m trying to scam her out of money absolutely the worst company I have ever had to deal with horrible customer service and quiet possibly scammers!

Very straight forward to download and install and link to the Stripe account. Love using the camera function to take the number. I've a big event coming up so the real proof be then. You'll get the fifth star after that.

Great service. I would like to see a replica with using crypto currency instead. I don't like the red tape with the tax info and the connection to the bank, I would rather be my own bank.
