Suggestions
Plz put the old logo back cause I liked that one very much and can you make it free cause I want to make multiple slides but I can’t (I’m just a pretend teacher I’m still a kid but I have a bigger IQ than others and I don’t wanna pay cause I don’t got no money)
Clunky and asks for permissions it doesn’t need
The app’s user interface is very clunky, especially when trying to view photo albums. It shows individual photo comments on the whole album and things like that. It also requires permission to read your entire photo library on your phone when you try to save one photo. That is completely unnecessary and suspicious. No thank you.
It’s good but
It’s a good app, however, it takes forever for messages to load.
Bugs
It is hard to view when typing on my phone. The auto populate doesn’t work when writing and it decides that it wants to capitalize anything that you had to backspace on. Since the view of text isn’t large enough to view you just have to send and be embarrassed of what you messed up on.

So ummm…. Seesaw is interesting I gave it a three out of 5 because like my teacher assignees us ALOT of math work on here but gives us like that small little box to do the math. Then explain it. So like yeah. 👉👈 also audio is SUPA glitchy on my ipad. I like that you can use the tools while recording but you can’t ever hear what I’m saying. 💀✨. Like I’ll say then you carry the one. And it’ll come out like tHeN wElL cArRy ThE oNe. Like holy glitch💀💝🎀 also it NeVeR saves my work I have to screenshot my work once I do it then save. It’s very annoying

one of the worst apps, please just why can't you use google classroom it saves and it runs smooth. Don't blame me when your work gets deleated right after you finished it.
Seesaw: Review
This is a great app I use it really helps me. But I would like to see more features…
Not Performant or Intuitive
Two main critiques are: 1) the app is just not fast and smooth. Its load times are long, and navigating around is laggy and not performant. 2) the apps organization is not intuitive either (it is journals, DMs, feeds, etc.) and leads the teachers to communicate in these weird ways (namely screenshots or PDFs of messages) As a parent, I think seesaw’s poor usability (in my opinion) actually makes it harder to stay informed on what’s going on in my child’s life.
It's nice, but needs a few improvements.
Seesaw is defintely a great app for learning. Teachers can add comments and edit your work if you forget something, and the activites and worksheets are pretty easy to use. Well, were. For some reason none of my text boxes work, when I'm trying to edit a text box, I have to click on it multiple times for it to work now, and half of the time I just have to restart it since my keyboard never shows up. Also, every time I draw on the app, I save it, but half of the time it resets. The first time I draw something, everything saves easily. But for some reason the second time I save it reverts back to when I last saved it, which was VERY annoying. And with the saving button, half of the time it also just doesn't even work, so I have to restart everything all over again. In conclusion, Seesaw is defintely a nice learning app, but it just needs a few bug fixes, and I think Seesaw would definetly be more enjoyable for me.

I have used Seesaw for my entire career and love the updates each year and the responsiveness to teacher needs.
TERRIBLE
I COULDNT EVEN DOWN LOAD IT!
Honestly Really Good but…
You see, I don’t use this platform anymore as I use Teams now but my siblings have started to use this platform recently and it’s honestly really good. It gets the job done and functions pretty well. However, I recently started seeing some glitches on the platform the really annoys me and my siblings. Some of these ‘glitches’ include working getting erased from doing nothing and after drafting work most of the work sometimes doesn’t save properly. I really hope that you work hard to fix whatever is going on and please respond to this if you have seen it or fixed said problem. Thank you 🙂
Printing issue with latest update
Please note with the recent update any documents added by my children teacher, when we want to print it it is showing on the page as small picture not clear and we can not do anything to adjust it. Please we need you to fix it as soon as possible

Misleading posted date
Seesaw has been a nice app for sharing activities and pictures. But, I found one problem with the app and I cannot understand it. Whenever any message or picture is posted, it always shows a timestamp underneath the posting. The timestamp consists of the day as of today and time as of now. For example, if you browse a posting from the past day or month or week, it will always show as of when you are seeing it. The date and time doesn’t carry any meaningful information rather than confusions.
Review
Was good while it lasted but then it somehow got glitched and stayed on a white screen. Please fix this Seesaw.
Powerful Classroom Tool
I have used Seesaw for several years, and it offers a front row seat for families to see their child’s creativity and academic progress.
Always rage-baites you because it never saves any work.
I wrote a LONG essay, that’s supposed to have a picture, so I write first, then once I finish this long ahh essay, I try to add the picture and then BOOM, all my work, GONE, NO TRACE, and I had to restart all over again. And this is NOT, the first time this has happened to me.

Homework every day So relaxing
HELP!
I see that there’s been an update and now all my pictures are uploading at half the size. Which is impossible to see on a phone! I’ve done everything to trouble shoot it and tried the chat bot. I need help and there’s nothing I can do! All my documentation is Seesaw photos. This is terrible!
Works but SLOW
My phone storage is barely used and I close apps as I am done with them. Seesaw is painfully slow on my iPhone. I’ll receive a push notification but when I open the app and go to whatever task received action (like a message), it does not show. Even after a few minutes it doesn’t show. I have to close and try again 20-30-60 minutes later. Very annoying.
Love Seesaw
I have been using this app for at least 10 years and I find it engaging for students and their families! I like the messaging aspect as well! Keep making those improvements!
Not working right this year
I’ve used this app for 5 years now but this school year it crashes everyday. It’s terrible. I need it to check my kids homework and I have to delete and redownload daily
Update requests
I don’t understand why there are always message boxes saying “ This app no longer gets updates. Switch to the NES seesaw app for the best experience” yet it won’t update as it’s the latest version.

When it works, the app is fine. Good even. Lately, I’ve regularly had to force close the app due to the app loading a blank screen.

Slow and buggy
Frequently stuck on a black white screen upon launch. Content slow to load. Nothing is preloaded and every action you take requires what seems to be a round-trip to their servers. Open app…pause View feed…pause Check messages…pause Open specific message thread…pause

I love the apps but I cannot find the 3 dots to save the pictures and videos
I got banned!
So, i was using full sceen an the app started glitching then, i little bit after i got banned from using the app so i bot it again & sined in all over again!!!!!!!!!!! How dare!!!!!!!!!

Originally it was just hanging at login eventually saying I need to enter a recaptcha, but it never displayed one or a box to enter it. I tried again later and the recaptcha was popping up in the bottom right and getting past that step. So it’s working now.
This was my childhood app
I’m just writing this because I was looking at my old apps that I deleted after I didn’t need them anymore and this popped up, and can I just say, I remember using this app all the time in elementary school, you progressed with my learning, im no longer in elementary school, but this app brings back nostalgia, thanks for letting me use you for my assignments, love- a previous user
App crashes
I’m a teacher and the Seesaw app on my phone keeps crashing. I have to reload the app every other day which makes it difficult to communicate with families.

Good app!
Good in theory
It’s a good app to communicate with teachers but I often am not notified of any messages. When I am, and I click on the message threads, the new message isn’t there. I have to wait hours for it to decide to appear. Other times I won’t get messages from the teachers until a few days later because the app decided not to tell me there was one. It used to be a lot better a few years ago, around 2020. And yes I do all the updates.
It’s okay
I find it hard to navigate. Archived classes are mixed in with current classes. Additionally, the “heart” button on teacher posts seems to have dissapeared.

This app sells all of your child's data including photos and videos to many other companies for profit. There is a class action lawsuit against this app for this reason.
Easy to use
I love the seesaw app for communication with my child’s school and teachers however I would love it if there was a save function for any multimedia sent through. Screenshots are an option but being able to download a better quality image would make this app 5 stars for me
Not great not terrible…
I’d say it works 70% of the time… regularly crashes and doesn’t load, constantly says no connection.
Improvements needed
I would like to be able to upload more than 10 pictures to a post. We should be able to add teachers and parents to multiple classrooms. The director should be able to use this app schoolwide to communicate with all classrooms and parents. I do like how notifications from parents are timely. Being able to categorize posts is aldi a great feature so they can easily be found later.
