The app try’s to work for everyone
This is probably the better of all apps in the quality of design and functionality, but alas, there’s something that supersede its actual functionality in. It cannot overcome human mentality, hypergamy, and assorted personality characteristics of human so it ends up, not working for either gender on the app. Relationships can’t be built on pictures and words that are written interactions are the core of a truly healthy relationship and this app cannot deliver such. for this app to function to the highest level, you would need to truly understand human personalities and behavior and incorporated into its design to overcome the state issues listed above

Review as of 2026- So iv’e used this app for awhile now I think it’s okay, the one thing I hate is when you send a like and if someone doesn’t swipe you back and you accidentally like them again, that shouldn’t be a thing, because why would someone change there mind after they already rejected you? They need to change that feature so you don’t end up liking the same person twice or three times and so on, it’s pretty annoying. Also I did notice a lot of the profiles are not verified, fake or the girls on here expect too much from a guy, there needs to be a double verification process for some of these profiles in my opinion but other then that I think the app is pretty good. Also please make it to where we can match with people of our same category/ likes, because that is broken.

None of my settings worked when it came to ethnicity, or life partner / LTR. Also no one reads your bio they just swipe randomly forcing the female to do all of the work filtering. So I got bombarded with the ppl I would never date, couples, poly, certain ethnicities, and many just looking for fun. Waste of time and money.

The reason given for why there is no undo function for SuperSwipes (“because SuperSwipes are designed to be a clear, intentional way to show extra interest in someone”, according to “Jen” the AI assistant) is exactly why there should be an undo function. I think the real reason is that they cost money. I have super swiped 3 times that were completely accidental. That is not a “clear, intentional show of extra interest.” It is also a disservice to the person that might believe so.

I mean I’d say it is okay but the problem is the premium is a bit too expensive and it didn’t even have like a free trial for me to at least chat with people and rather it gives me something to pay for even though I can’t even pay for it. I really don’t like that update where everyone can make the first move. At least before it was clear and if the girl was actually interested she could send a message, even a simple (& boring) « hi ». Now it’s unclear and the app now looks like every competitor on the market and it’s basically just a Hinge 2.0, except you’ve got a 3d timer on your matches lol

Very buggy lately
Idk if it’s just me but recently the app has been borderline unusable. Chats constantly freeze when I type or I try to exit out of a chat. Almost every single time I open the app.

Bumble often suggests people who live too far away to realistically meet. If I’m in Nagpur or Mumbai, I’d prefer matches from nearby areas instead of Delhi, Kolkata, or distant cities. The app should prioritize people within a practical distance so matches have a genuine chance of turning into real-life meetings.

The worst part about this app is that when you have your location preferences set to a certain area but people from outside of that area are still able to see your profile and like you. Bumble uses the excuse that it’s probably users who have travel mode on but I can be on the app at the exact moment a like from outside of my desired area comes thru and they don’t have travel mode on. Won’t use this app ever again for this reason.

I was using this app completely normally, matching with other young professionals, and was banned for “soliciting sexual services”. I was chatting with a pregnant woman and used the phrase “sex positive” and was automatically kicked off the platform. The appeal was automatically declined. Would recommend using caution.

Hola :) This is actually the first time in my life that I’ve taken the time to write feedback for an app, and I genuinely mean every word I’ve written. Tbh, I’m writing this solely because of the person I had the good fortune of meeting through your platform. Had our paths never crossed, I probably would’ve never written my first app review. 🤭 Like many people, I downloaded Bumble hoping to meet interesting people and have meaningful conversations. I never imagined that one simple swipe would introduce me to someone who would quietly become one of the most important people in my life. We started as two complete strangers. One conversation became another, then of crs we moved on to WhatsApp… long voice notes, countless good morning messages, shared playlists, inside jokes, and conversations that slowly became a part of our everyday lives. Somewhere along the way, this connection changed me. It made me a softer, more expressive, emotionally honest and self-aware person. It reminded me how beautiful it is to truly listen to another human being, to remember the little things, and to make someone feel genuinely seen, heard and valued. I’ve deactivated my Bumble account not because of anything else, quite the contrary actually; somewhere along this journey, I found the one connection I had unknowingly been hoping for. For me, there simply wasn’t a reason to keep looking anymore. I know not every match becomes something meaningful, and everyone’s experience on Bumble is different. But sometimes, all it takes is one genuine connection to quietly change the direction of someone’s life. Out of more than 8.3 billion people in this world, it’s still fascinating to me that one ordinary swipe on an ordinary day led me to one extraordinary human being. Some coincidences are simply too beautiful not to be grateful for. Thank you for creating a platform that made it possible for two complete strangers, living completely different lives, to somehow find each other. If your fragile hearted…read ahead
Dont fall for the “‘ x’ people liked you”, its to get you to pay..also a certain “type” (more like race) is desired on this app. The closer you are to the dark side of the colour spectrum..the worst your experience gets. Dry, Bland,Fetishized..and you’re filtered out and forced to see “your type” (which again is based on race)..a type does not only equal “race”..there are other definitions..oh yeah—from what ive heard..fat ppl also get no love. So you cant be a POC and you cant be Fat. Happy swiping. Only put the stars so this is seen..Bonne Chance!

Used this app for a couple of days and honestly I’m fairly dissatisfied.. In the week I’ve used the app I; Had one of my prompts removed by bumble for spam, while it saying it was a fantastic prompt at the time of writing. Which is amusing considering about 25% of profiles I’ve personally seen is genuine spam, not an actual response to a prompt about travel advice.. Can’t type in my own interests? Fitting into a predefined box seems to be more important than actually showing what you’re interested in. See who likes you being behind a paywall!? What is the point in that? To Keep people swiping? Is the almost £40 per month to keep the lights on? And the actual number decreases immediately after you get the subscription to see who is interested? Think there’s something wrong there. It IS just the same as the other apps out there, which is unfortunate.
