Scam
Posted a project on this app with milestone set up. First payment was for $125 just for a sample scammer creator asked to talk on some other website prototype. Contacted customer support to try and cancel. They said I can’t cancel despite the fact nothing has been delivered. There’s nothing there. Other than their scammer that they host asking for me to send money to him on PayPal. Then they blocked my chat. I can’t even message the scammer to tell him to cancel it. They blocked it. This site is absolute trash and garbage avoided at all costs.

Awful waste of money and a scam
DO NOT USE THE APP! They will charge you and then remove your inquiry, they will give a “refund” that you can’t withdraw to your bank account, the advisors are unhelpful also, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

I do like the platform but it is unfortunate that they take so much of your project payment in fees. I also think they shouldn’t take said money until you’ve actually been paid, instead when you accept a project. On a positive note, it is fairly quick and easy to get in contact with their support team when you need help :)

New user experience
As a biginer it is too hard to grt project, woth minimum investment. I need a guides/help to get project on board. If freelancer will be of help initially, I would be loyal to the platform and will use for long term.
Optimisation
The app really seems like an html version of the website has been put forcefully in somewhat app like feature, its not optimized at all, really feels choppy sometimes, please optimise it to be a proper full fledged app🙏

Ever Improving
I’ve been using Freelancer for several years now - some of their freelancers are better than others, but when I’ve found a good one I keep going back Each time I get more value for money
Good but needlessly confusing.
There are a lot of possible sellers so you can find what you’re looking for, however the bidding system is all wrong. In your proposal, you state a budget, say $10-$20. Sellers swarm in, usually bidding within your budget. Then when you contact them, most if not all, ask your budget and want more, lots more. Say you want a poster made. You set a budget of $40. They bid on that project within the budget, and then ask more than double when you contact them despite already bidding within your budget. Also, you get slammed with money processing fees on top of your buyer fee. I only set three milestones, per my seller’s request, and each came with about a dollar money processing fee. You’d be set back a further ten dollars for something large scale like a website etc. Beware.
Not for me
I have no experience in work which is why I came here but any job that beginners bid for or people who don’t have much experience like me, there will always be other experienced people who get the job and never people wanting to get experience. Also, on the app, there is no saved bookmarks option. So when you save a job, you can’t even find it again on the app and you have to go to the website

This app is the wave of the future and it facilitates ideas like a scientific revolution bringing organization to a cluttered world. Money is dispersed incrementally so you can feel safe that your dollars are well spent.
Very concerning privacy issue
Very concerning privacy issue. I requested deletion/removal of my Freelancer.com profile almost two weeks ago, but my profile still appears when searching on Google. I have now had to send another formal request asking them to remove the public profile and confirm that my personal information is no longer accessible. Account/profile deletion should mean the public profile is actually removed, not left visible or searchable. The process is unclear and unreasonably slow, and users should not have to repeatedly contact support to stop their personal information from remaining online. Freelancer.com needs to handle profile deletion and privacy requests much more seriously.
Amazing
A great approach to having skilled people provide you a professional service a level of quality and pricing not always available from the high street firms. The App itself should be improved to make certain ‘Help’ functions more visible and on-top. But frequent use makes it easier.
You need to focus on Your iOS application to run the business.
The app is filled with so many webviews that when someone try to work through mobile and browse many pages it becomes difficult to load even on an iOS17.3. and Apple 14 pro device. Contact for fix.

Unfortunately, the freelancer application is very slow and heavy, and it is not easy and fast to work with it.

No actual talent, just scams
Do not be fooled by this app; it has no actual artists of any kind, and is instead just filled with Indian scammers who use AI half of the time, and will aggressively spam you demanding you for more work.
Mostly good
However I paid extra to use their recruiter function and ended up with someone that was extremely expensive and unreliable. Would recommend against the extra features as they seem to be money grabs.
New idea for stealing
The app is making a lot of restrictions to withdraw then when time of payment comes, app hold your account for 3 days then, when you ask withdraw again they give you a week for payment duration to charge you with monthly charges so the payment request rejected. App is trying hardly not give you payment and charging you with every step: 1. Verification 2. Monthly fees 3. Payment fees 4. Sharing fees for finding a client 5. Automatically swap fees ANYONE SEE MY REVIEW DO NOT TRY THIS APP
Not the best
It could be a lot better. The issues I’m having: Adding freelancers to favourite list. Sometimes really difficult to do they don’t save. The save and go back button are right next to each other. It doesn’t indicate if it’s saved, which it usually isn’t. When searching through bids. If you look at the freelancers profile, It doesn’t save the place you were. It takes you back to page 1, even if you were at page 9. A complete waste of time if you have 100+ bids on a project. When you sort lists by pay or latest listing, it doesn’t stay that way. As soon as you click on a freelancers profile it clears. So you have to keep applying the filters. The same issue also when you are directly searching for freelancers it doesn’t save you place. It takes you back to the begin.
Newbie
While I surely haven’t mastered this as my current resume. I’ve enjoyed sharing it with colleagues and friends and giving them hope in their down time on how we all get through life and bills, together, no matter where we are in life.

They make it hard to withdraw deposits. I have $100 and can find a way to deploy so return it Funny how your systems always are designed like this. Refund my money

The app on the phone doesn’t have most of the features required and is not user friendly! Most of my bids go from phone which I do while on the go (like commuting and traveling) where I can’t use my laptop. Please make the phone app more friendly and provide all the features like analysis etc. like on laptop
Application is no more working
I have tried to log into my account after a long time but when I downloaded the app from app store, only logo animation is showing up and no further app is working. I have then removed and installed again but same problem. Then I have waited for a week and then again tried to login but same problem, I have tried everything before writing this review.

The app seems to be broken - unable to complete my profile during sign up process. Screen where you pick location for some reason didn’t render properly and only showing location in Germany 🤷♀️

Couldn’t Even Get In
I downloaded the app and tried verifying my email through my email app. That didn’t work, so against my better judgment I signed into my email through the app. When that didn’t work after repeated attempts I deleted the app and changed my email password. What a joke.
Rip off
It’s turned into a minefield quality of freelancers is poor and bid mechanism doesn’t provide certainty add to that you can’t withdraw less that 50 dollars of your deposit they keep the rest. Try raise a complaint ? Nigh on impossible, cunning plan that!

Excelente platform! But unfortunately there’s a lot of good scammers offering false jobs - and believe it! If you not paying attention, you will be scammed, as they know how to do it! -. It would be better if they made a more accurate selection of these employers.

The app crashes on iphone 7 whenever i am trying to type a msg or open a chat it crashes and reopens the login page
Fix your app
Both the website and the app has always been extremely laggy but lately the app has been rendered useless. App requests for an update and provides a dead link. When updating thru App Store (Apple) still showing update required in the app. Edit: Problem resolved by completely reinstalling app. I rated a 3 at best for the laggy messaging.
