What people like
- Uses actual local air samples
- Tracks mold spores too
- Helps plan outdoor activities well
What they complain about
- Hard to read the small text
- Data often stops updating completely
- Shows old data from years ago
Such a helpful shortcut
It's great to know what the pollen levels are so we know when to keep allergy meds in stock. I love that I can check office hours and call right from here. The next best thing would be a messaging system so we can send our CNP or Dr a message or request instead of waiting for the telephone funnel. Thanks!
What a joke!!!
Where is the current info?????? I could not care any less about the counts from 2018,2019,& 2021!!! DELETING FROM MY PHONE!!!
2nd nearest location alerts
I am unable to get rid of the 2nd nearest location on the Home page. That means I am getting alerts for that location which I do not want. Any suggestions?
Actual app looks nothing like the pictures
All I see are general mold and pollen counts. There’s no information about specific pollens, as shown in the pictures. There’s some mysterious information about shots, but only in the Toledo, Ohio area. Not as advertised!
Disappointed
I thought I would get allergy reports for my area. The closest count is hundreds of miles from my area. There is no feature for telling it where I live.
Accurate
This is the best app for allergy and more info about why you are suffering! Thorough and even gives a mild count!!!
Dead app.
I love the updates Dr Safadi gives on facebook, and thought I would just use the app instead. Unfortunately it looks like its no longer being updated, so I immediately uninstalled it.
Helpful, but need to adjust screen settings
Thank you for creating this app. It would be helpful to be able to adjust the settings, specifically the word colors. That bright green is extremely hard for me to see. I can’t tell what the words are. I adjusted the light, up and down, didn’t help. Thank you again. This allergy season is brutal.
Font is too small
I can not read it without glasses. Also, I personally do not need a list of the nation’s allergy offices. Deleted..,
Not Updating
I’m was happy with this app as I used it regularly for checking the molds but now it won’t update. It’s stuck on Aug 7 and it’s Aug 31. I removed it and redownloaded it but that didn’t help. I’ll have to find another one I guess.
Very reliable for allergens
This app is way more accurate than others I've used and correlates extremely well between what's "in the air" and how I feel for my known allergens. It helps me to plan outdoor activities.
Last station reported August 2018
What good does August of 2018 do me? It’s out of date for Springfield Missouri... Missouri the Allergy state.. Missouri no longer a state of mind and actual state....
Pretty effective...
... to see what is in the air RIGHT NOW. There is no warning feature or predictions like 'Ragweed will be high over the next few day' which would be incredibly useful. In short, if you want to know what sort of airborne ugliness is making your allergies spike off the charts, this app will tell you!
Great if you live in Ohio
I thought this would be great because it uses national stations that supposedly report air samples. The 2 WI locations are over 100 miles from where I live and haven’t submitted samples since August 1st...today is September 14th. I was looking forward to something more detailed and accurate...right now the two apps I have offer conflicting data.
Was a 5 star app, now it’s too general
This app used to give great details about what was in the air, breaking it down by tree or weed. (Oak Pine Mulberry very high, hickory occasional, etc). Now it just tells me that trees are high without specifying which types. Not good enough. I’m really really sensitive to a couple trees and have no problem with the rest. If it doesn’t say what’s in the air, it’s not telling me anything. UPDATE - ok Update May 14, my wife was complaining to me about this on Sunday. And I couldn’t remember how to do it. I told her I would go check my review to get the instructions. Why should I click on a video button, then F? Why not just put the most valuable info that comes in the notification right on the main screen?
Great little App
Great little App. Gets you the allergen information you need when and where you need it!
Misleading preview
The App Store preview looks great but none of that is on the actual app! All I have is a brief summary: none of that glorious detail listing which trees etc. What a complete disappointment.
Great Allergy Info For Ohio Residents!!
Thanks Dr. Safadi for making this app possible as part of your allergy and asthma practice! All of your patients as well as residents of Northwest and Central Ohio love knowing the exact pollen count and species of the day!!
Wha??!!
iOS 12 it doesn’t look anything like the previews, doesn’t show weather, I’m not sure if anything is accurate. Few controls doesn’t do anything. Too bad. I like the mold count, that’s unusual and important to me.
Update for iOS 11 doesn’t work
My go to app for allergen counts. However the latest update for the horrible iOS 11 has rendered the app useless. It no longer opens. *edit* Ok so the app opens fine but it doesn’t show any recent allergen counts. Last pollen count was October 26. Everyday. A month without being able to see allergen levels? Sorry but I have to delete the app now. I’m sorry iOS 11 has ruined so many great apps. It’s certainly ruined my first iExperience...
Mold counts
The only allergy app that counts mold spores. Great. Very helpful as mold can ve very high when pollen counts are low.
This App is dead
This app stopped updating about two years ago. When opened, the data shown is from 2018 according to the date stamp. For example, when this app was opened at midnight, it showed UV of 7.
Confused
I was so excited to download this app but I do not have nearly as much information as what is advertised. My home screen on the app gives general allergy information and that’s it. I can’t go to any other screens for details.
Ohio?
Useless unless you live in Ohio. Developers, please change the title, very misleading and a waste of time as I tried to find a setting to change location. ....update! Thank you for fixing so it's now more than just Ohio! :-)
App
The app is very useful. I can always depend on this app for current up to date information.
Stopped Pollen Updates
This app was great but the last pollen update for St. Louis is for April 17th and it’s now May 16th. I don’t understand why.
Missing Tabs
The instructional video shows there should be 4 tabs across the top on the home screen. I have none. Even the data I see on my home page is much less detailed than shown in the video. Has the app been changed (in which case, it isn’t as good), or is it not working properly?
Love it!
Finally! An app that lets me know the pollen count based on actual samples taken in my area!
Very hard to figure out, little info
Needs updating
Why Ohio
Even though I live in Colorado, this application to use to send me information for Ohio. I am I do not understand why it is and I app.
Great allergy info
Good stuff- helps a lot.
trash
Do NOT get this app. Half the time there are no weather stations in your state and it rarely updates. This is a huge let down. I would advise using AccuWeather for pollen tracking, but it doesn't work on my iPad.
Informative
This app is very helpful and informative. Thank you, Dr. Safadi!
Boo...
The app is nothing like the example in the App Store.
Info at your fingertip
This app is very informative and helps my family plan for outdoor activities as well as keep us organized for appt. love it!!
doesn’t work
fail
