Decent puzzles, no internet connection needed
Some of the puzzles are difficult to figure out by non-experts. A Mate position is easy to identify but some of the puzzles don’t even capture anything and any positional accomplishment is not immediately apparent to players with less experience.

Bof bof
Un problème d’échec devrait conduire au mat en x coups. Plus il y a de coups, plus c’est difficile car les réponses de l’adversaire doivent être contraintes. Les problèmes qui se résument à un échange de pièces au premier coup n’ont aucun intérêt. Et je ne parle pas des problèmes bidons, dans lesquels les réponses de l’adversaire sont mauvaises. Bref, application bien peu utile.

Great way to be better all around
The most improvement I’ve seen in my game but it’s not imo for beginners levels unless u can follow with more awareness than myself. But after I was 1000 or just under rating it sharpened my eye and ability a ton.
Sometimes the solutions are clearly wrong
I am no chess genius. But today’s daily puzzle (easy) called for white to mate in 1 move. The only way to check the king was with the knight. But the solution required the knight to move where a pawn could take it. This has happened before.
Missing
It’s a great app i think its good for those who cannot afford money to buy chess games and they still wanna learn chess but it’s missing En Passant which is a really affecting on some games.
Flawless
I write software, and I cannot think of *anything* that would make this app better We’re using it to train 4-yr-olds. We set the pieces up on a chessboard (Holding the pieces accelerates learning) The feature ‘Analyze’ is fantastic! (It shows why material-gaining puzzles have been solved) Oh! One more thing! They don’t know that they’re also learning how to create puzzles

The first puzzle wanted check in 2 but check in 1 was possible.

Nice free app overall. It often generates great tactical solutions and thought processes that stimulate a complete new way of thinking and understanding the game.
Used to be good but now it crashes
The update crashes the app and won’t even open. I like the daily puzzles but now I can’t even use it. Please fix thanks.

Nach dem Update funktioniert die App auch nach einer erneuten Installation leider nicht mehr. Geht immer direkt aus. War eine schöne App welche ich gerne genutzt habe.

Some problems have problems.
Some of these puzzles have issues with making sense. Don’t get me wrong I am a long time player and it’s my favorite game to play! Just some of the puzzles solutions have glitches or holes.
devs clearly dont olay chess
cool concept but its obvious that the developers dont play the actual game. in an easy rated puzzle they would make me trade my queen for bishop and itll say solved...???? wdym solved bro that didndt do anything good whatsoever.

Almost perfect!
I like the simplicity of this app, and that each day offers new puzzles. It’s nice to be able to play puzzles without worrying about your rating. Only thing that I would change, is the sound of the pieces moving. Could be more natural, less harsh sounding.

После обновления программа открывается и сразу закрывается. Переустановка не помогла. Можно откатить версию назад?
Learning chess
The puzzles are frustratingly fun. I do wish they would tell you if you’re just trying to improve or find checkmate.
No explanation
The app often says a problem is solved when it is not solved. There is no mate and the position is worse than at the start. No explanation is offered.
Free but not the best
Really like how there are hundreds of free puzzles without any pay-wall, but some of the puzzles make zero sense. Checkmate opportunity? Nah, that’s wrong. You should sacrifice your queen for bishop’s discovered attack on a knight that can just move out of the way. Solved!

What’s wrong with this app? Nothing! You get a huge variety of chess puzzles, and at a difficulty you chose. You need a hint? It’s there! And then there are the daily puzzles. Easy, Medium, and Hard. These puzzles are now part of my morning routine. That, and coffee. Buy all the extra puzzles. I did. It’s well worth the money.

A little frustrating for a beginner.
Sometimes the solution is not a checkmate, but the capture of another piece. The continuation to checkmate is not always very straightforward. I enjoy the challenge however.
Found the best move
Most of the puzzles are good but there are some that require you to assume the computer will make a mistake. Just because you put pressure on an unprotected queen doesn’t mean she’ll get out of the way giving you an easy checkmate. Even the analyze feature disagrees with the puzzle solution at times. Best move puzzles should require the computer to be rational and also take the best moves.
Eigentlich gute App
Aber: Wenn man einstellen kann -Mattprobleme- dann sollte es auch um Mattstellungen gehen. So sucht man ewig nach der Mattstellung bis man endlich herausfindet es ist eine Taktikaufgabe. Ich finde das ärgerlich

No all access
I like the app enough to order an all access pass but never got access. Not sure what happened to my order but Apple Pay got funds from my account no problem My communication with support has gone unanswered so screw the all access
Good app, not always correct though
This app is very useful! I do like it a lot and the only thing I find bad about this is the moves. Sometimes there is a move that is good, but a there is better move. If I’m trying to checkmate, and when I make a move the game says it wrong because I should capture a piece instead, rather than checkmate. Very solid game though, would recommend.

Ich habe das Komplettpaket an Aufgaben für über 10 Euro gekauft. Eine Synchronisation der gelösten Aufgaben zwischen ipad und iphone findet nicht statt. Das ist für diesen Preis eine echte Enttäuschung! Wenn das gelöst ist, gibt es 4 Sterne. Und wenn die app auf dem ipad auch noch im Hochformat funktioniert den 5. Stern! Auf dem iphone geht es doch auch im Hochformat. Warum nicht auf dem ipad? Außerdem werde ich ständig um eine Bewertung gebeten, obwohl ich sie längst abgegeben habe. Nervig! Ergänzung vom 16.8.19: Heute habe ich die app auch für meine Frau im Rahmen der Familienfreigabe heruntergeladen. Die in-app Einkäufe (Komplettpaket) waren leider nicht enthalten. Man muss noch einmal über 10 Euro dafür bezahlen. Das ist nicht ok! Schade!!!

Good, yet frustrating.
A lot of the puzzles are really straight forward and good for beginner and intermediate players. What frustrates me the most about the puzzles is that several of the hard puzzles have more than one winning solution; backed by computer analysis. Sometimes you can play a move that absolutely wins, but it’s not the “best” line. Let’s be honest, if one line is +10, and I go with the line that’s +8, they’re both winning. In my mind, a puzzle should only have one “winning” solution. Additionally, there are some puzzles that are mate in x, and you can be wrong if you choose a mating line that takes more moves than the intended solution, i.e., The puzzle may be a mate in 3, but you choose a line that’s mate in 4. It really doesn’t matter. Checkmate is checkmate. I really like this app and have been using it for a long time; I don’t want my frustrations to dismiss that fact. It would beneficial (in my opinion) to introduce alternative correct moves that give the user a chance to find the best solution rather than flat out calling it wrong.
Some puzzle solutions make no sense
Some of the puzzle solutions aren't check mates. In fact they are far from that. When we press analyze, all we get are pieces going round and round while not serving a meaningful purpose

Puzzle selection fail
In the paid app, no matter what you select you get random mates, usually 6 and 7 moves which messes up my ELO. Fix this then 5 stars.
