Propaganda and biased news coverage
Used to be an authentic source of information but now has more opinions and very less fact based news. What a shame!

Not liking anymore
I used to like this app and would visited daily but the amount of Ads they started showing got irritated. More ADs than news . Deleting it now

The concept for the app to keep everyone updated with the latest news on short time is excellent but as the media in today’s world is biased every news which is present in the app should have some authenticity to it and should be linked to the reader as it is being done presently. This action provides whether the news is actual or biased and the reader wants to know such information or not. In the end whether the reader accepts it as authentic or not should be checked with every news with a true or false button. Thanks

The app design and everything is top notch. Specially the information in the form card is very nice. But the advertisements are more common compare to previous please decrease the frequency as they are making experience bad

Lately the shorts coming on my feed seem to be more government friendly and taking unnecessary and irrelevant digs in the opposition parties. Please do not become another tool of BJP and a new member of Godi media. Stick on facts…praise what is worthy and criticise where required

Used to love this app. Presented news snippets in a beautiful way. But has slowly given in to the ruling party’s agenda either under money or muscle and now almost every news is a propaganda

Good app but content repeat
Very informative but off late the same information is repeated in 4 to 5 slides. This distances people who want quick update and makes it boring
Ads disguised as News
I’ve been using Inshorts since 2014, However something has changed in the past 2-3 years, it’s full of ads. And now, they show Paid Ads disguised as news to the viewer AND send you notification for it. Seriously?

Annoying ads

Too much nagging about participating in Daily Ritual Streak
I don't want to participate in the daily ritual streak and don't want notifications for it. Please refrain from sending unsolicited notifications. I'm receiving two notifications for this daily ritual everyday. I only want news notifications, and those should be from the selected topics. Also, the in-app feedback system is very poor. I posted the same feedback on 7th May, and today, 17th May, it is still under review, and there has been no update from the team since day 1.

Your algorithms are unjustly censoring measured legitimate informed comment. Please consider correcting this.
Too many ads
It takes a minute to reach first news article after going through ads or insights injected pages. You have to do 5-6 flips. Great example of greed taking over the customer experience. The downtrend has started.

Propaganda and hatred spreader
The app is good and efficient but always highlights us vs them issues and more like a mouth piece of BJ party. Too much hate spreading news.

How can I turn off the audio? It starts automatically when I start the app and is really irritating..

Please provide good accurate up to date news rather click bait. More Bollywood content than current affairs
Showing same news again
Using this app for long time, facing weird issue. I set app to show “unread news”. I open app -> go through some news -> close app. After sometimes if I open app again, it shows already read news again.

Doesn’t open the intended news
Whenever I tap a nee from notification, 50% of the time it doesn’t open completely different news. And since the news i wanted is gone from the notification too, there’s no way to look for it in the app. Fix the bug

We don’t need reels here. I read news during meetings, how the hell can you play sound while reading news. Remove those right now. Play them on mute by default damn it!!!
New update flaws 5th June 2023
I’ve been using the app since the beginning when it was called “News in shorts”, there are grammatical errors in some of the articles and now with the recent update the videos start playing itself. Please fix it. Can’t read the news in silence.

Cheap 2rs tactics by developer
Cheap tactics of not opening the same news article from notification and instead making you go through other news and ads to gain ad revenue. Finally got rid of this trash. Better to stick with TOI, NDTV, etc.
Bad optimisation
It is not build for the ipad. The exp is bad
Slow
The app becomes glitchy and increasingly slow as I open multiple notifications one after another. The more notifications I open, the more it slows down my phone.
Vocabulary and language of the news
News are delivered fast and everything is perfect but the language is unnecessarily hard. the vocabulary can be improved by using some simple convenient and accurate words for the respective news
