Used to be a good app
Now I just see a blank, full screen interstitial
App is great aside from a glitch
Very good app. Well designed and maintained. Unfortunately there is a “Network status” glitch that keeps popping up with a message to inform me that it is online….every two seconds
Good app but tech issues
A good app otherwise but it is crashing repeatedly. Each time I click on a story, it crashes. Sometimes it crashes when I am in the midst of reading an item. Iphone 14 pro using 16.1.2
App crashes
Hi I use an iPhone to read The Hindu , lately I see that the app crashes frequently, I have the latest 15.4 update on my phone .. I had this issue even before the software update .. kindly look into this matter . I am a well wisher of The Hindu , I wrote the above feedback a few months ago , the issue is still unresolved .. I am an NRI , I rely on the Hindu for reliable news about India .. I used to be a subscriber also ..
Sole bearer of India.
I’ve been using this app for a while, although I’m of that generation who enjoys the perusal of a physical newspaper to the online app. I’ve immense trust in the publishers on the authenticity of the news and how unbiased they are. It’s a rich resource for those who yearn to improve their English language skill too… Thank you.
Does not work
This App suffers from the same problem as the e-paper App. When you try to log-in, you get a blank screen. I will not be renewing my subscription- waste of money.
Please add context for article
You open an article and don't find context information such as place, area, state. Some articles you can figure out after reading through but basically it is hard to figure out from the article itself. You may or may not succeed find out which village, area. Why don't you add basic information such as place, area, state.
App close down
App is great and easy to navigate. But there is a glitch. When you tap on any news article it closes down the app(for the very first time). You have to open the app again and tap on the same news article to read it. For some reason this happens every time irrespective of the article.
Poor app design
The app has received a facelift, but these are merely cosmetic changes. The design doesn't follow basic usability principles- e.g. You can't even see headlines in full while browsing the cards
Crashes every time
Whilst clicked on link , app closes itself , seems serious bug
Used to be good, faulty and hard to use now
The last few months, clicking on a notification takes you to the browser instead of the app. Opening the app itself is cumbersome, often crashing and failing to load. Poor customer experience, hope it’s fixed soon.
Well done tech team.
The best thing about this app is the clarity of print n images. Added with the fact that the screen doesn't flip between landscape n portrait saves a huge hassle. Can't think of anything else that I need in a newspaper app. Well done.
App crashes frequently
App continues crashing when click on the content, kindly take a look about this issue because even unable to move another article in the app
review
the app shutdown before opening a page . don't expect to read on a high traffic period & probably to reinstall to make it work again . do look into it as i value your content

App closes automatically
There is some bug that’s causing the App to close automatically after sometime. Thanks.
Application can't open in my I phone
When I try open the application it's suddenly closed. I can't see anything
Can you fix the Crash issue
Couldn’t open any news link.. keep quitting. Can you please fix it
App crashes when clicking on each news
App keeps crashing while clicking on free to read articles, but one which needs payment opens just fine. Weird.
Issue in Iphone 5S
The app is getting crashes after opening. iphone 5S .. IOS 10.2.. pls fix
Keeps crashing needs update!
This is a good app. I have been using it for 6 months now. But since the last 2 weeks the app crashes as soon as I try to read an article in the opinion section. Have tried to reinstall the app with the same problem. I think it needs a minor update. Otherwise good layout and selection of news!
Paper with some Journalism left
Still a place to go for news.
No notifications
Not receiving any notifications
Impressive
A huge improvement from what it was. Doesn’t crash and works as it should.
It is an advertisement app not a news app
Every time you move from one news article to another, annoying advert with voice/music comes. It is so so irritating... There are many ways to display ads in apps and this app chose the worst way ever... Deleted....
Brilliant
Amazing app and they fixed all issues and it’s working like charm
Worst app
It is always frustrating as the app never works and crashes down every time I open it
Great app
Clear and easy to navigate
Poor App
Keeps crashing. Frustrating
Awesome Hindu
App was amazing. But try to make it much more user friendly please.
Crashing
The app keeps crashing. The categories and design is good. Unfortunately i have to uninstall it after 2 days.
