What people like
- Motivates you to walk every day.
- Auctions can win gift cards.
- Tracks food intake well too.
What they complain about
- Support never replies to emails.
- Winners often don't get prizes.
- Steps don't sync with Apple Watch.
- App glitches and resets history.
New way of setting my goal
I like it. Only way to set your goal is to walk. It’s different but interesting. It’s all based on me walking or not walking. It’s not based on an arbitrary number.
Doesn’t Work
I downloaded this on an iPhone and the app doesn’t connect to Apple Health. Second, when you watch the ads they say that you also earn 1,000 reward points, but you won’t receive anything. The app needs several things to be fixed in order to work on iPhones.
Good!
This is a good app, but I think it would be better if you updated it it but and offered more prizes or prizes we can but with our coins or green coins. Auctions are nice but not everyone wins and it’s hard keeping track of when to be ready for one.
Not what they promised
I downloaded this app because of an early promise that after hitting 10 million steps I would receive a $150 gift card; I think from Amazon?) But somewhere after 5 or 6 million steps (not sure) that offer along with others pretty nice $ offersthat I can’t recall just disappeared. Also the counter for receiving one coin for each day I met my step goal stopped at 1,150 and hasn’t added any coins since. Still walking and still using the app to motivate me but I am a little disappointed. Update September 2025: not much has changed for the better; seems worse to me. It looks like the software is updated a little bit and no longer shows my past steps that I have done for the last week. And the coin counter reset to zero. I never did use the paid part of the app, so not too much to complain about. I’ll probably delete it one of these days soon as I’m using another walking app.
App is glitchy
I am finding the app is a little glitchy. When you go to Featured section it acts like it going to load then it is completely blank. When I use this app more and the glitches are worked out i will write another review.
Motivation
It keeps me motivated to keep on walking every day … no matter what ! Also challenge me to get more steps … now all I need is what to do with these high numbers … ? What can I do ? Well will keep on and get more steps 😊😄😁
Unimpressed
There are several other apps that actually pay you nor give you gift cards for your efforts. The bidding, and hiding behind a pay wall is lame
It’s pretty good
It’s pretty good. Not super easy to navigate but not super hard either
Very confusing and difficult
Took forever to get signed in, even with help. Still don’t see the rewards that are supposed to be offered thru Healthy Livonia, or the bonus points supposed to be given for visiting various places thru Livonia. Very disappointing. Great concept but this app and company don’t do it
Tracking steps
I have 11246 steps on my Fitbit so far today. I opened Carrot and it says 18!!! Please check. Also, I won an item from the auction months ago and I NEVER received an email for it or notified at all. But you took my points. Step count is inaccurate
Fun
Fun
Awful App
I won a Walmart gift card over 3/4 months ago and never received it. I've written support numerous times and have yet to receive a reply, but they are good about letting g you know when a new auction appears.
Goal coins
I hit 10k steps everyday but also my goal coins shows still 0..my steps for now is around 49000k..is this the bug or m doing something wrong.
Coins
No how do I got to use my coins that’s why I gave it a three stars
Question
Why are they not showing the gift cards and the balance for them
The app is crashing.
The page is not working on viewing rewards
App issues
I can’t use the auction not even as a premium member and it should be gift cards not auctions that is so weak. The only ones people care about is amazon and PayPal get some gift cards you can spend coins on and it would be a decent app
Rewards
The rewards are hard to obtain. Never easy to get into bidding
Great product, great team
Awesome stuff, great perks, can’t wait to see what’s in store! Keep going Mike!!
No support team
An app full of bugs. Support per email is non-existent. Don’t waste your time.
No response from developers
Very frustrated, I used to love this app and win prizes. The one time I won a $5 Apple Gift Card and $5 Google Play with green coins, no rewards to my email.(even after resubscribing to premium like they said). It’s been a month now. I’ve emailed them several times with only a generic response every time. I hate putting down bad reviews. Hoping they fix what ever is broken and actually respond back to loyal customers.
MISSING STEPS
What’s the point in piling nearly two million points only to have them vanish over night?! And no one to rectify. Can’t sent it.
My favorite fitness app
Their walking challenges are addictively fun, especially once you start winning prizes :)
Scam
Only way to redeem steps for gift cards is if you pay for their premium monthly access. Bye-bye CARROT. Deleted.
Not good enough!!
I tried this app but it’s lacking rewards… no PayPal sadly…
Is this US only
Is this available in Canada
Good
Good app
3 stars because.....
The option to connect to Facebook does NOT work. Fix this and I will give 5 stars! UPDATE: 1 star now because the developer abandoned the app completely. Rewards cannot be given because the devs email NO longer is in existence. Do not download this app!!
Help
What to use this Maybe I am tech challenged but cannot get it to sync with apple watch… followed directions No joy
Great chances
This app is great at keeping track of your steps. However it only gives you chances of winning things other than the previous version where you could get things for a certain amount of points.
Carrot review
I like this program because it helps me to track what I eat and it gives me a lot information about what I’m eating and what I need to do to get in better health.
Update
I need to update my email address, so I can receive my winnings.
Needs support
Support is nonexistent. Any time there is a daylight saving time change, the app resets all of my history. I have tried to get people to help with this and they tell me it’s a setting on my phone. It’s not. It happens twice a year. Now my counts starts all over and I have hit my goal for over 75 days with no credit within the app. The goal points are pointless and need to do something better with being able to redeem them. The green tokens are nice to use on gift cards when the app holds your streaks long enough to redeem them. Has the potential to be a great app but needs work and please fix the time change issue!!!!
Not sure what to do on this app
I don’t things things were explained very well. So I am spending my carrot rewards to go into a draw to maybe win a gift card. 😏 ?
Carrot
Please add a section for redeeming prizes for coins and not just have the auctions. Love the app though
Don’t download
It doesn’t give you the option to delete your account and their email doesn’t exist anymore so there’s no way to contact them.
Goal coins
I’m only writing a review because I don’t know how to get ahold of support. Do you only earn goal coins if you’re a premium member? I hit my daily goal on many days and I never get credited? What’s the deal?
Not great; not terrible
Nothing special. I liked the older version better. Right now it sucks that I can’t try out the premium membership other than with coins. Maybe as I use it longer and patches are done it could be more fun to use.
I love this app
I won my First Auction today for a Nordstrom Rack $5 Gift Card, I’m Addicted
Rip off
I won 2 gift cards on the auction and never received them. Emailed support 4 times and never had a response from them.
Constantly fails
Constantly fails to provide gift cards won on auctions. It also manages to eliminate you from challenges without reasons when you still sync your steps on time. Disappointing that all efforts go unrewarded as promised.
I don’t know
I used this app and I’ve entered compitions and app far I havnt won so I don’t know if its a scam. This gets me motervated to walk!
