Contraction timer
Worked great. Thank you
Ads
There are ad pictures I assume at the bottom of the screen of the timer and they are of provocative clothing models. I don’t think woman want to have to look at other women like that while they are in labor. Won’t be using this app again.
Easy to use
This is a great tracking app this is easy to use for first-time moms. I like the suggestions and how it asks the intensity to help keep tabs on what's happening
Worse than the Android version on every level
The Android version of this app opens immediately to the page where you can track contractions. This version takes you through at least seven different unskippable pages asking optional information before giving you access to what you need — a button to tap that records the time for you. It’s embarrassing that their latest app update includes “removing full screen ads so you’re not distracted between contractions” — either maintain an app that provides a straightforward service or don’t, but stop with the dark patterns that show you clearly don’t care about your primary user base. I would like to see more contraction timer options that are a step up from using the default Stopwatch app on your phone (which has its own limitations or I wouldn’t be looking for a separate app), without sacrificing so much sanity to dealing with data collection during what the app creators know is a stressful time.
Wish i could log info
I just got this app to try and track contractions. You have to immediately pay for a subscription with no free trial (i paid $3 for a week) so I had no idea how the app operated by my contractions have started so I needed something. Unless I’m incompetent at using this app, you can only log contractions in real time (as opposed to being able to manually add one into the log). I’m not always glued to my phone to be able to start/stop the timer right away, so I really wish there was a log setting

Pornographic ads
As I’m trying to time my contractions, there’s naked women and penises in the ads. No joke. Deleted app and found one a little more calming.
Didn’t work for me
This is my third pregnancy and I got a membrane sweep to help induce labor. I was drinking raspberry tea also. My contractions were 2-4 mins apart when I would walk. Sitting went back to 6-8 mins apart. The app would tell us to go to hospital when I would walk but didn’t help me because when we went I was 2cm. I see this app could help first time parents. For me it was helpful seeing the difference when sitting and walking. I paid for the week. Not expensive.
New feature needed
Need the ability to add contractions that have occurred and not logged as they happened. ‘Manual add recent contraction’ option
Could benefit from some improvements
Useful tracker with guidance on when to go to hospital but would be useful if you could save and compare rounds of contractions rather than needing to delete to save a new round.
Great app!
I started feeling what I didn’t know was contractions. All was about 4 mins apart. This app notified me that I needed to go to hospital! It helped alot I got to the hospital and was 6cm dilated and delivered!
Paywall during labor?
We’ve been using my pregnancy app for my wife’s whole pregnancy and really enjoyed it. Some contractions have started and decided to go with the contraction timer from them as well just to find a paywall makes me upset to say the least. For example, accidentally hit the start button and you can’t erase that from the history and it messes up the averages… The my… series of apps are pretty good and my wife’s uses them, but this just put a bad taste in my mouth.
Use free version
Good app can use a free version. Didn’t realize that til later.
Needs more free features
It is very frustrating that this app doesn’t allow you to alter or edit a contraction unless you pay for the app. It’s easy to get distracted and you mess up one timing because you forget to turn off the timer and your numbers are all skewed.
Paid is pointless
App is fine for counting but constantly comes up with membership notifications. GF was in labour so wanted to see what that included - a regular notification to go to the hospital was about it
Genial
Muy fácil de usar y muy útil
Ick
There were pornographic images underneath the timer
Easy to use
Really simple design, minimal ads, super easy to use. 5 stars if it was clearer what time the last contraction started. I had prodromal labor and every time it stopped (I had 5 false alarms where I thought I was in labor) I didn’t know how long it had been since the last contraction unless I pushed the “start”button to see what the time difference was between the new one and the last one.
Absolutely do not recommend
Im literally half asleep and i was trying to time a contraction but nooo, it had to tell me to join the subscription and would NOT let me close the freaking pop up. Im stressed out and in pain, the least you could do is let me close the pop up. Also, why on earth does a simple app that im only going to use maybe a few times at the end of my pregnancy need a subscription? Its honestly bs. Im sorry for the sour review, its a really great contraction timer and i love the widget access, but why would i use this app when a 100% free and add free one exists?
It’s alright
App is fine I do not like how it gots ads the ads are annoying would be nice if they removed them
Review…
When this app notified me to head to the hospital, i did and was actually in labor. Helped me so much as a first time mom!
Not crazy about the lack of ability to edit
I need to edit my contractions at times as I will accidentally leave the timer running or start it too late and it doesn’t allow for this without glitching. It also I believe has it set to military time. I can’t edit that
Recommend
Very helpful for timing duration and time between contractions. App recommend to go to hospital earlier than they themselves want you in so call your maternity unit first
no way they should have us pay
easy to use yes but why do we have to pay to get some information on our pregnancy.... all these pregnancy/period trackers should not have us paying a dime us women already have to pay for the essentials to keep ourselves clean and for the pregnancy we have to pay the hospital bills and on top of that hello a new born baby needs a lot of stuff apps like this are really selfish and needs to think about the women
Muita propaganda
A mulher sentindo dor e eles toda a hora preenchem a página com propaganda.
Quick and mindless tap
During each contraction I just wanted to focus on breathing. I was able to do that with the click of “start” on the button this app. It was just easy to end the contraction duration and not worry about manually calculating how long it was or far apart they were. One thing I didn’t like was the prompt after marking the contraction, reading something like “this was likely a practice contraction” based on the time spray from last contraction. In reality I was in active labor despite the far time apart.
Must pay for the app to be useful
Can't delete contractions unless you pay
Need to be able to edit times
Is ok - cant edit times if forget to turn off or turn off too soon
Functional, but infuriating
Works well for the most part, but if you don't pay you're inundated with rubbish. I was asked to rate the app numerous times, and every three contractions or so a full-screen pop up for another app fills the screen with no way to dismiss it. Frustrating given how simple it should be.
Pretty good but can’t edit.
Useful. Wish you could edit your contractions without having to pay.
FTM
-super simple -easy to understand -no over complicated buttons -coercive design and related apps
Uncomfortable
When opening this app I saw there were ads at the bottom. One of the ads I saw was particularly strange as it had grown women’s bodies modeling by for tight dresses and clothing. Right next to these photos was a simple photo of what looked like a young child modeling their own clothing as well. Having them all displayed in a single ad It looked very weird and predatory.
Contraction live
Ouff
Ads!?
Invasive fullscreen ads between contractions are very frustrating - especially since many of them are phishing scams
Early review
I’m rating this before I go into labour in hopes to avoid being asked when I’m in immense pain, like the other reviews state! 😆
My Granddaughter
I used this app on my daughter 3 years ago and it was fun and helpful .
Predatory Subscription
Weekly 2.99 subscription when you are in active labor feels predatory, highly recommend looking elsewhere. This is a company where preying on people who are in a trying time in their life.
Good but pop ups
Useful but it keeps asking for a review while I am in labour
Disturbing ads even after purchase
Inappropriate and disturbing ads won’t go away even after paying for pro version
Good app but apps hinder the usability
Good app but other half had a contraction and I couldn’t time it because an add popped up
Great!
I started counting my contractions & it told me it was time to go to the hospital. The app was definitely right. Lol
Difficult to cancel subscription
This app worked perfectly but when I had my baby and went to cancel what is a weekly subscription fee, I found nowhere to do so aside from emailing the support team. Hopefully they respond in a timely manner but it feels like a very shady business practice.
Not compatible with Apple Watch?
I like the interface of the app and how easy it is to use it on the phone. Even with the free version I’m able to track the length of the contractions and the intensity. Unfortunately, the app is not compatible with the Apple Watch which is inconvenient since I barely carry my phone with me around the house. So I end up not being able to track accurately.
Okay
This app is okay, however the button you hit when a contraction starts is so big It’s easy to accidentally hit when closing the app starting another timer for a contraction that isn’t happening so you have to clear the list and start over!
Review request during Labor
Maybe it would be better to not have a request for reviews right after most contractions? Like, I’m busy, OBVIOUSLY! The timing and warnings to contact your provider, or head to the hospital were reassuring. App did what it was supposed to. Was just annoying to have to close a review window before prepping for another contraction.
Loved it
It’s super helpful and I loved the ease of use. Would love to have a dark mode option for late nights
Creepy adds
Immediately after opening this app there were creepy adds of little girls. Disgusted.
Could use some improvements
I didn't really look into other apps for contraction timing but I purchased this one so not sure what else is out there. It's a fine app but 2 very helpful improvements would be 1) a dark mode (white screen is SUPER bright in the middle of the night) and 2) a widget so I can track them from home screen without fully opening the app.
Wouldn’t sent the data by email which is one of the selling points
I wanted to email this contract data so paid for the full app. All options greyed out even when looking to email the app team for support. Just used the counter
Good but pushing notifications during use
It keeps asking me to rate the app while I’m trying to time a contraction. Not the greatest time to do that.
