Mobile app is the best! You can turn your card off and on. Mobile deposits are extremely easy!!! So recommend!!!!
What are you DOING
I do not understand why on earth a bank would default one's debit card to not work anywhere for anything (shopping, ATM, literally anything). The user has to go into the app and select their card and TURN ON THE ABILITY FOR IT TO BE USED IN SHOPS AND AT THE ATM AND FOR BILL PAY. This is not the "card is off" setting (which is also poorly named), they are two separate settings in the app that are not immediately apparent and are also incredibly stupid. I beg you to get it together.

Too many times this app is not working or temporarily out of service
App not signing in
This app is overall really good and I like central bank. The app will not log me in about 1/3 of the time. I’ll have to wait a few hours and try again this epically happens at night for some reason. I also switched from android to apple and the problem seems consistent across both platforms.

Push notifications don’t work
I’m very unsatisfied with this app. Every time I use my debit card I don’t get any push notifications. Everything is turned on.

Had a stroke and they worked with me being very patient helping me keep my account straight!!
Needs fixing
Can NOT make external transfers using CENTRALMOBILE APP. It keeps kicking out of the peogram.
Receipt
I wish you would update the app so that you can view receipts. I can see where money was spent, but can’t see what it was spent on.

App login terrible
Logging into the app is horrible consistently won’t login saying sorry for the inconvenience. Then I go to the website and login without issue, back to the app no can do. I’ve reset my password multiple times for no reason because the app won’t let me login. This app is trash better off just saving the website in your browser and accessing that way.

Awful user experience
The app is awful. It’s down/offline more than it’s up, then exits out abruptly and is very sluggish. I end up using the website more often which isn’t convenient.

Doesn’t work
They need to invest in updating their system. This app just closes immediately when I try and open it. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, updated. Still just closes and I have a newer phone.
Really good app
Really simple and smooth app, but I don’t like I can’t find my account number and routing within the app
Scheduled maintenance
This app would be great if an alert was sent out scheduling maintenance or down time. I’ve tried to login twice and now my account is locked and I get to call to talk to customer support! Awesome! This happens once every 2 months and absolutely drives me up a wall. Fix the app
not capable with IOS 16
I love this app but it is not allowing me to get on the app ever since I updated to IOS 16. It just closes out.
Horrible unreliable app
Gave the app one star because I couldn’t give it a zero. It never works on the first try. Most of the time it doesn’t work at all and then you go online to the website and it’s not working either. Super inconvenient and it’s been like this for years.

Great bank but please make the Face ID function work!! I’ve tried everything but I’m having to type my password in every time!

I love Central Bank. I have banked with them for 3 1/2 years since we moved. Two of my teens have student accounts and have done great saving money. Everyone is helpful and kind with transactions, questions and service.

Update: Still will not load, almost worth switching banks for one with a usable app. The App is pretty great when it works, but that is becoming more the exception than the rule. It’s a shame, because there has been a lot of added functionality and improvements to the UI over the last year. I often don’t even try to open it and just go to the webpage on my browser instead. Please make it stable, it’s a good app when working!

Has become the worst!!
As of about two days ago the app no longer will load. It tells me my iPhone is either jailbroke or rooted. MY PHONE IS NOT! You need to fix your app and the developer who doesn’t know what they are doing.
Always an Error
Every time I use the app it errors about a million times and eventually allows me to access my account. Extremely frustrating.
Easy to manage my accounts
I can transfer money easily or check my bank balance within seconds. Love the ability to deposit checks from home. No technical issues ever.

This is a boomer bank. Reminder, Banks are Zeros. Can’t wait for this one to fail!
ITS NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW!
It won’t open the app for me and the only way I am able to access my money is through the website. There is no new update and I have restarted my phone and redownloaded the app. Nothing. But I hope it will be fixed soon.

FIX Your Bugs
Y’all need to fix so many bugs. all my transactions for the week are pending but it never shows me my total bank balance after subtracting that pending charge, and its hard to keep track of my expenses, like is the bank balance not my true balance until after the chargers are not pending? and how it will show my balance under the charge, it always glitches and they disappear as i’m scrolling through my transactions, and it’s very confusing and frustrating. and the new central wallet thing you guys added, where you guys show our reward points, it will have like travel, merchandise, gift cards to choose to redeem the points but you can’t click on anything, nothing happens..?

I used this bank and furthermore this app since it was the quickest way for me to acquire a bank account before basic training. Now, a year later deployed. This app is quite outstanding. The simplicity is out driven only by how fluid everything is. My only gripe would be that on occasion this app under goes maintenance and does not inform me. So sometimes I’ll need to check my balance only to find that I can’t. Kinda silly. Apologizing for the inconvenience frankly isn’t good enough. Fix the system or inform me ahead of time of the maintenance. Otherwise, outstanding application for simplistic banking and money management.

Face ID
The Face ID feature works about half of the time. It will work for a while then quit again. So frustrating. I never have a problem with any other app that uses Face ID.
