Channel 4 weather is fabulous! Not even in the same ball game as the other stations.
Had to delete the app
There were so many ads- video ads at that! If you got a baby trying to sleep don’t go look at this weather app an ad will blare out while trying to look at the radar. If I want to look at the weather I don’t want to be bombarded with junk ads. The first ad that ever played was trying to say my phone had been compromised and had a virus now it is some fake blood pressure app. Go download the Katv 7 app you won’t be disappointed
Good to have
It’s great to receive updates as weather events happen. Would have given 5 stars but having to turn on the volume each time to watch a video is a bit annoying. The links to live videos at times doesn’t work. Other than that love the app.
Full of scam ads now
I used to really like this app and the local accuracy. Now there’s a pop up every few seconds for some scammy looking fake out ad. They always make you watch a video ad before the video forecast, not ideal especially if you flip the phone accidentally and it makes you watch it again but these incessant pop ups you have to look at for 20 seconds made me delete the app.
Ads Are Ruining a Good App
I’ve had this app for over a year. It was great at first. Good, accurate forecasts. Minimal ads. Now so many ads pop up I can hardly get a forecast. Some ads never pop up an option to close. I have to close the app and reopen. The app is basically losing its functionality due to ads.

I use to love this app and used it daily. Didn’t mind the every now and then ads popping up. However, now I can barely navigate around the app without an ad popping up. Everything I touch there comes an ad. It’s very frustrating when trying to do my daily weather check.

Too Many Ads
This app would be great if it weren’t for so many ads now. I can barely navigate without an ads stopping me. On top of that, most of them are scam ads. Please do better!
Use to be a good app
When I first downloaded this app last year, it was my “go to app” for anything related to weather. It used to be good and reliable. Now, I have to wait through multiple ads just to get to the radar in motion. I’m on here trying to see if the thunderstorm coming our way is severe and hitting us in the next 30 minutes, and this app is giving me commercials. Very disappointing.
Favorite storm team
I watch ch 4 before 7:00 and ch 16 after 7 Pat is my favorite but the I like them all.
Ad after ad
I don’t understand why a weather app has pop up ads come up. Hope you’re not trying to look at it when there is severe weather because you would have to wait for the ad to give you a X to get out to see. This needs to be fixed!
Used to be good
Lately this app has become unreliable. It opens to ads, then when you try to watch a video update, you get more ads. Then after all that, the video may or may not actually play. Scrolling down to look at the radar usually causes the screen to jump to either the blog page or the extended outlook, or of course sometimes more ads. Not terribly helpful, sadly.
Too many ads
Going to delete… lately there’s a banner ad upon opening (always has been no problem) but now even to look at the temperature outside currently there are two app ads that you have to watch and you can’t “x” of until they’re finished… Too much waste of time just to see the temperature. Sad because I like this channel.

App is great and reliable when there’s not a million spammy ads that pop up. It makes for a miserable user experience. I’m sure it is to offset cost of keep the app operating but The frequency of when they pop up has increased.

This app use to be great but now it is over run with ads. Every time you click on a feature an add pops up.
Disappointing
It’s super sensitive to touch. If I scroll, I’m going to a different page barely touching the screen. Thought it was only weather blog but it’s everything. Frustrated so I don’t use it.
Push notifications
The most insane amount of push notifications. Had to turn all the app alerts off after about a week of having the app downloaded.

Just not worth it
If you have to watch an add before you can see a weather report then that tells you where their priorities are. JMO
Adds issues
The forecast are great. However the pop-up add screen is so large the X to close the add is inaccessible. A real hassle

I have recently downloaded this app and only get 12 hours of the 24 hour future radar most of the time. Also I do not like that I have to scroll down to get the current temp when opening the app. Other than that, it is okay.

I love this app and the ones behind AST they are always my first go to in anytime if weather!
ADS
The ads are out of control. Every time you go to something new- you have to watch another advertisement. Fix it or loose me as a user. It was a great app at one time. Now if there were a weather emergency I would have to decide which truck I did not want to buy.
Almost Unusable
The app is really hard to navigate. Scrolling in any direction causes the app to jump pages. It’s been doing this for a long time but it’s really annoying when severe weather is around and you’re trying to get important information

Frequent issues with the audio of the video forecasts that don’t resolve when restarting app

Often times when the alert opens up it is for the previous day and as often, no matter what I do, I cannot get sound. I prefer to use local weather channels however until I figure out a solution I will use the weather channel.

This is the absolute perfect app for your average, everyday user that needs weather forecast. Alerts for severe weather, helpful information in a convenient location. Just download it, you won’t regret it!
Misleading
UPDATE: Tried emailing the developer through the app and you can’t. It doesn’t apply their email address when pulling the data so you can’t communicate with them to let them know of issues. This is a seriously flawed app that needs some major work. I like the idea they are trying to push but they are substantially lacking here. Currently extremely disappointed. The App Store images show the app as having no adds then you download the app and get adds the pop up whenever and in the most in opportune times. To top it off there is ZERO way to get rid of the needs. Uninstalling until they fix this.
