So good
I thought it would have been better
I was excited to have an app to help follow everything especially with the time difference. But I found it hard to navigate and find times for events I wanted to see if you click on a sport it was hard to find the schedule or bracket. I gave it one star because I ended up going to ESPN or NBC sports to get the info I was looking for. There were some nice stories posted but overall I was just not what I was hoping for.
Impressive Application
I used the application to stay up to date on all the events of both the Olympics and Paralympics. I removed one star for not having the Paralympic button front and center as the Olympic button was. The Paralympic athletes deserve better.
Frustrating to Use
This app has some frustrating quirks that made me avoid using it to keep up to date with the standings. For one, an account is required to track events which is frustrating. Secondly, when you try to look at the schedule for events you want, the selectors don’t save that action for when you come back to the app.
Too much going on
Too much fluff content that doesn’t connect to the current event.

Good luck finding anything
Unless you just want medal counts, this thing is a disaster. No “scores” icon anywhere? I just went looking for the live boxscore for hockey. Click on ice hockey? Nope that explains what hockey is. Scroll down? Nope, that’s an animated video of what hockey is. Scroll more? Ah, there’s US vs Canada “live”. Click on that? Nope. That takes you to IG-like “stories”…as if the game is not currently live. Almost any sports app will give you better Olympic coverage.
Athletes
Would be nice if you could see what athletes were competing when you clicked on a sport. No way to see flights/heats. Or if there is it was way too hard to find.
Standings & Scrolling
Whenever I try to find pool play standings / results, I end up in a rabbit hole of craziness (I successfully find it about 50% of the time)… then the bottom navigation bar disappears, so I can’t find my way back. It’s a ride.
Confusing
Reminders for events are helpful but the app is confusing to navigate
Best in Class
This App started out rough years ago, but has been refined into a graceful, elegant companion to all Olympics’ games!
This app is like Clickbait, no information just teasers
We are trying to follow events, especially skiing events, this app gives a headline but no reference as to facts , no t easy to find results and even to guess the event , super G and GS and Downhill can all look the same if no context in the photo Who won, what country are they from are nice details that are no longer easy to find
Better than relying on NBC
I started using this app late--I should have started sooner. The quality of the commentary was better here--the man, in particular, is more culturally aware because he is better educated. In addition, there are no ads here! However, it could have been even better if there had been captions in many languages, and a very brief synopsis of each opera character in the closing ceremony. In addition, the Airplay was not working properly--I could use Airplay only by mirroring my entire phone--I could not mirror the app or website only. However, I was also using a VPN and lockdown mode--both the app and website should be compatible with both. Apps should be developed for Samsung and LG TVs.
Glitchy and doesn’t have everything
How disappointing that you basically have to redirect and pay for access through a local provider to get footage. And it’s really glitchy - it crashes a lot.
Pretty good
Pretty good. Doesn’t always notify you but other than that no issues
Games
So glad to see this I want to see the Paralympic games as well.
Terrible
This has to be one of the worst apps I”ve ever used
Good app
I wish the app provided video streams at the end of the day. But I guess they want you to buy the service.
Not made for mobile
While the information is generally great, the app is not good on a phone - the data seems to be organized into “page” chunks so you cannot scroll continuously. Makes it hard to look at the items you want as the display is constantly jumping between page chunks and will not stay where you want it. This flaw renders the app extremely frustrating and essentially useless.
Stop doing daily updates
Can’t use the app without the update and it needs an update at least once a day during the Olympics. It’s unnecessary and annoying to have to go update it daily
Great Source for Competition Outcomes
I have been a follower of the both Winter & Summer Olympics for a very long time, but I don’t usually download the app as I watch the events frequently enough. Decided to take a leap of faith and was glad I did as the information kept me more interested especially having set up alerts. Although not until Summer 2028 in Los Angeles I would recommend the app to any follower as the detailed information will be very much appreciated!
Greed
Won’t pay athletes or developers
Great App for the 2026 Winter Games
Well done with this app. I use it mostly for keeping on top of the schedule for the days events and it has been a godsend. It’s easy to use and it’s easy the filter and if you don’t want to see your results you don’t have to and if you do want to see results you can. It updates itself automatically and the layout and the formatting and the coloring are all top-notch. Very well done. If I had one suggestion it would be to give us the option to select the time of the events in your local time zone to be shown in the 12 hour clock system. That is, give us the option to deselect military time. Other than that the app is excellent.
Needs Improvemen
The app is not very well designed. For such a major organization, I expected better. Freestyle skiing and figure skating are swapped, and the calendar filter doesn’t work or is missing
Pretty good, but can’t read stories
The app is good in that it reminds me when my selected teams/countries/athletes are playing and I like the link from the event to my broadcaster for on-demand viewing. My issue is that when I’m reading the stories, it wants me to log in to read the full story. No mater how many times I go through the loop to sign-in and read the story, it still wants me to log in.
Olympics
Awesome watches
Totally useless
Unable to find results for non-medal events. For instance, last night’s curling match, US ladies vs. Denmark. So I tried the section to add sports, countries or athletes to follow. Looks like you can tap, but nothing, absolutely nothing, happens. This should never have been let out of the lab.
Straightforward, helpful
I found the app very straightforward to use for keeping up to date with the games. I have two recommendations: 1. Allow me to set which menu appears when I enter the app. 90+% of the time I wanted to see the schedule/results menu. But I always had to go through the Home Screen. 2. I would have liked to selected sports I was interested in having shown as the default, as I was not interested in many of them. I was constantly having to go to filters and select the few I wanted to see. It is possible these capabilities were available. If so, a tutorial on how to set them up would be helpful.
Forced update suck
Gosh I hate apps that force you to update to continue working, without any warning that there’s a new version. I’ve been using the app daily during the Olympics. Now, when I’m on a limited data connection, I want to check up on something and the app won’t run until it’s updated. I understand that sometimes you need to update to match a new API or backend, but giving no time for users to upgrade on their time line is just lazy development and wouldn’t cut it in my business. The version I have is a week old and there were no warnings that a required update was coming. Update: again with the stupid forced update. Again a week (or less) old. The app itself is good and helps with following the Olympics, but forced updates are just so MS of the 90s…
Landscape mode please
Please make the next version of the app work in landscape mode for those of us on tablets. Thanks,

Updated: thanks for the info on how to hide event results from the schedule.
So much garbage
Can you make an app not have pop ups every 10 secs.
Great but not perfect
Many features on this app are great, love the medal count and easy way to see games. Only feature they need to add is a way for me to stream live games on my Apple Watch, no other app supports it for Olympic sports and it’s super nice to have since most of the events happen while I’m at work. Apps like espn have this feature for NFl and NBA games, and I love it.
Disorganized interface, can't find even the basics
This app is all over the place! It opens with a highly annoying advertisement of some app-designer chosen highlights from the games. When I try to find results of the day's events they are anywhere but where I would expect them to be! Some Paris Olympics and/or IOC marketing executive with no respect for the audience and people, must have dictated how this app was designed, because it serves no other purpose except to infuriate the end-user! UNINSTALLING!
Good app overall but some glitches and bias
Overall, this is a good app. I like the fact that you can indicate which countries are your favourite - which allows you to track everything these athletes are in. The pronunciation guides for Chinese athletes is also much appreciated. There are some glitches with the filters when you’re trying to pull results by sport or for previous days and it takes several tries before you get where you need to be. The featured articles are also VERY Western hemisphere focused. For example, the top 5 articles on August 8 as of 8am (EDT) are about the US artistic swimming team’s silver, the upcoming US basketball games, the US women’s relay team, the US female weightlifter, and Australian’s male skateboarder. As someone who never indicated US or Australia as being my favourites, I’m baffled as to why the articles are only about people from these areas. Why no articles about anyone else? There are great athletes and stories everywhere - the Azerbaijani wrestler who got an emotional send off at the last game of his career, China’s first gold medal in artistic swimming, Canada’s hammer throw sweep, etc. There’s an obvious bias in content and it’s unfortunate. Otherwise, a good app.
Best App
Love this app so much it tracks everything with the Olympics and view athletes highly recommended it to anyone who loves Olympics
Useless
This is a pain in the butt. I just want the results. So much baggage.
Caveats
The app fellows to always list your favorite athletes events. You always have to look for the athlete all over again and then click and click and click and click until you finally find out what the race was and what the outcome of the race was. Another pet peeve is, if you want to watch a replay of an event, and you click on the Peacock icon to watch it on the Peacock app that’s installed on your phone, I get an error message that claims that my player is unable to play the video. But then I read the fine print you should be able to watch the replay on your Peacock app in an iPhone, iPad or PC or a Mac. So this last claim is obviously not true. When I try to find the events or favorite athletes on the Peacock app installed on my Apple TV device, Peacock sort of has sections, but you have to sort and scroll through so much content just to get to what to see.
Don’t expect a medal
It’s not bad for stats and timetables but has no proper function to personalise or make it user friendly. Plus I can’t afford to update the entire app every few days! The Olympics are only on for a couple weeks. Just update the data, not the whole flippin’ app!
Mid
I would say to download it but it lacks the options that would be good 3 stars
Winter Olympics
Great app Easy to navigate and very informative.
When an app forces you to click "rate now"...
= one star
App stopped working
App stopped working after most recent update on 2/14 Update: working now
No way to hide results
Please add option to hide results, not everyone in the world can watch every event live.
Can not watch live events
Disappointing. You can not watch live events
So much fun
It has been so much fun, watching all the Olympics and keeping Live updates through the app
Worthless
Ads, ads, ads, not worth the 10 second download
Great App with slow Start-Up
Positives: Continuous position update for live events Constant app updates and developments Responsive developers To be improved: Painfully slow to open and load content Stays on the splash screen for 6-8 seconds before it even begins to load data.
DNF
May be the worst event app I’ve ever used.
Back navigation missing
Looking through the Equestrian event info and when I click into a horse's bio there is no back navigation button. Have to close the app and start again. iOS 17.5.1
