What people like
- Great for following fantasy teams and predictions
- Good source for news and driver standings
- Easy to use and very informative overall
What they complain about
- Notifications spoil race results even when turned off
- App crashes constantly and freezes frequently
- Text gets cut off on modern iPhone screens
- Forces large updates that drain battery and data
F1 Rules!!!
Formula 1 is keeping me alive right now !!
Constant bloat and updates
Every time I open this app I have to update. Sickening and unacceptable. Optimize your process rather than constantly pushing out updates. Maybe take some time in between to actually work out the issues before release rather than making us update all the time.
Why is the positions sometimes lying!
When I’m on positions to check ! It sometimes shows not correct place! Like when I Wanted to see Nico Hulkenburg it said he was 10th place but you gave him 9th place even in review he was 9th no penalty’s or anything !! Pls give correct positions but Everything else is lovely
Old version
Why force upgrades. I'm not on free wifi
Not optimised for large text display zoom
With large text selected for display zoom, a lot of the text is chopped off on the sides, most annoyingly the timings for the race schedule - one of the main things I use the app for. Please fix it :)
Very good indeed
I really enjoyed this app as it kept me up-to-date where is the latest F1 gossip. I also find fascinating that the app you track your favourite F1 drivers and Teams and also let’s super predict the race weekend with a prize or even your fantasy team. This is a very enjoyable app. I would very recommend recommend it to any elegant human being.
App not optimized at all
There is no reason this app should be as large as it is.
Great app
This is a great app for the fan. Love it. Has a lot of great data, news and updates. Need to work on presentation. Doesn’t fit on my Apple iPhone 14 screen. Cute the edges off and I can’t see everything.
Driver tracker
Today (Hungary) the driver tracker malfunctioned. Cars were jumping along the track. Seems that virtually every week there is an issue: maybe it’s the app, maybe it is being fed bad data.
The updated design doesn’t fit
It’s too wide in portrait mode and there is no landscape mode. It’s almost unusable. Try to look at points for the driver standings. You can’t see beyond the first digit.
Formula one!
This is by far my favorite sport! I follow everything, and sometimes it’s hard to see a highlight that just missed. With the Formula One app, everything comes to me on time, when I need it. Other apps just don’t cut it.
App won’t open
App just crashes when opening it, ios17
Great App but FREEZES on Fantasy F1 sometimes!
A great app and very informative, but on the fantasy F1 it freezes sometimes which is really frustrating. Overall it is a very good app to use and very good for information and all the timing for the free practices qualifying on the race.
12 hours format back
hello bring back countdown timer also bring back 12 hours format clock AM : PM
Fix Dynamic Page Sizing
Love this app but since the summer break it’s near to useless especially on the schedule as the dates and times get cut off, I’ve got an iPhone 17 pro so it’s not like I’m on old tech. Sorry to raise this in the reviews but if you don’t allow feed back or support in the app it’s the only route
Hi
Bring back Imola pls
App bug
One star because there isn’t a simple way to submit a bug report. After the most recent update, the app is zooming in on the schedule page. It does not allow manual zooming in or out, making much of the text (including event dates and times) unreadable. The app says to control font size in system settings, but this is a bug specific to their app as every other app on my phone displays as expected.
Good app
Good app for fans
Bad updates
New updates have made the app a mess. Constantly getting logged out, clunky to use, and the notifications now spoil the results. God forbid I’m not able to watch the race live.
Late info
Quite poor in the fact that results for practice, qualifying, race are delayed so long. Can check and get results within minutes online, yet the app sometimes takes hours to post. Quite poor.
Great
Best f1 app by far as an f1 lover I would recommend this to see all the latest noise and hear all the gossip great for fantasy too !!
Crash cow…
Like most apps on the App Store, this one is a train wreck. After the latest update this one just crashes. Why did F1 have to fall in the hands of US interests? Is F1 going the way of FIFA?
Schedule Page
The schedule page exceeds the screen limits on iPhone 16 OS 26.6. Would add a screen grab if I could….
Spoiler
The app spoils the race with notifications, if I was watching the race I wouldn’t need them because I can see what’s happening, but if I wasn’t it’s just spoiling for when I watch it later Stupid notifications, otherwise it’s good
Warning: kill after using to preserve battery
If you don't it will run in the background until your battery is dead, even if you have background app refresh disabled.
Simply lovely
This app is amazing with great updates and very easy to use.
The app isn’t working
When I open the app, it takes me straight to the schedule section. When I try to go to the homepage, the app is unresponsive, and I’m unable to tap on any of the news or stories.
Great app
This app is great for fans of Formula One, the only downside is that it’s a little glitchy when it comes to the fantasy loading page, but otherwise, it’s a really good app
Avoid spoilers doesn’t work
What’s the point of an avoid spoilers mode, that states no push notifications with results will come up, when immediately following the race every time is the push notification with the race winner… and once it’s on you can’t even edit your push notifications because it swears they’re off. Just don’t offer it instead of gaslighting and ruining the race
Spoilers
Don’t keep notifications on if you don’t want race spoilers. Even with race notifications off, I still received notification of an article with a headline explicitly stating who won the sprint. Best to just leave them all off if you don’t want issues.
live laugh love f1
i love formula 1🥹🥹
Worse
This review doesn’t matter because Apple hides bad reviews, but every update this app gets worse.
Solid, but 1 problem
I use the F1 app daily, and I really enjoy reading articles and watching the races. But the app constantly crashes, to the point where I cannot enter the app. They need to fix this. As well I cannot cycle through the menus, not sure if it’s a new update in progress or it’s my phone but nonetheless they have to fix it now. Additionally, most of the articles or strategy options are F1 Unlocked only, and as I do not have access to an F1 Unlocked account, I would suggest that they remove F1 Unlocked so that everyone can enjoy everything no matter if they have a subscription or not.
Stop spoiling races
Good app but please please please stop sending push notifications with the winner spoiled immediately after the race! Some of us watch on tape delay if the race is in some inconvenient time zone and I have had the race spoiled multiple times! It just happened again and I was so frustrated that I had to come leave this review in hopes that somebody sees it
Spoilers
Good app but keep sending spoiler notifications even when no spoiler mode is on.
App not working
Even after update 3 days ago, still doesn’t allow to go into app since last F1
Spoilers showing
App would be prefect but its spoiling every race with push notifications. I have them turned off but they show up anyway. Have to delete the entire app on race weekends
Love this app but
Love this app but spoiler mode needs to include notifications as well!! Absolutely sucks for a race ending to be spoiled because you have notifications on and you can’t control comes up on your phone. Love getting notifs and being able to read articles in real time, but spoiler warnings need to give you the option of opting out of notifications until you click on!
Notifications spoiling the outcome
An F1 app notification showed up on my screen today with the result of a sprint race in Silverstone- this ruined the outcome before i watched it. .
Bloatware
Nearly 500Mb compulsory update, needs updating frequently without significant improvement. Fed up opening the app to check a small detail then being forced to update.
F1
I now have no short videos on it for some reason
Notifications
I have notifications turned off. I have prevent spoilers on. And then the app helpfully decides to inform me that Norris grabbed pole of Hamilton as I am watching quali replay. Glad this won’t happen for the race as I may uninstall
Slight Improvement
I LOVE the f1 app, I use it every day, I like playing fantasy etc. one tiny thing is that though, it’s annoying how the moments or the little circle statuses disappear as soon as you click off them. Could there be a way to save them?
Spoilers cannot be turned off!!!
Race and session notifications used to be vague and not contain spoilers, which is what fans want. Recently session notifications have been filled with spoilers. No worries I’ll just turn that off in settings. Even after turning off race notifications I still get notified of every race spoiler there is. Absolutely insane either just don’t include spoilers on race notifications (very easy) or don’t even include an option to shut them off if it’s not even going to work.
Glitchy
App is good, but it very slow and always crashing. I would really expect more from the official app of the pinnacle of motorsport😒
Nice app
After the latest updates the app working smoothly, good job to the developers.
Spoilers two weekends in a row
Spoilers via push notifications two weekends in a row within an hour of event completion? What a disappointment. App deleted.
Sizing has changed
The display no longer fits in my iPhone screen. Both sides of the image/text are missing
Spoiled
It’d be nice to not wake up to a race being spoiled from a pop up notification. I know you can turn them off but I like to be reminded of other things
Glitchy
Very slow and glitchy when Predicting and menus take a while to load in everything, crashes a lot. Please sort!
