System upgrade
Wish the system allows keeping a missed workout routine. Right now if I missed a day, the plan from my trainer disappears. And it’s frustrating to repeat them in your own using the own workout.
You can’t cancel
Very disappointing experience. I cancelled both through the app and by emailing their support team, yet the subscription kept running. After 5 months of trying to resolve the issue, they claimed they never received my email — even though the email was clearly visible in the same email chain I sent back to them. The whole process felt extremely frustrating and unfair, especially when there was clear proof that I had attempted to cancel properly. Customer support was not helpful and the cancellation process seems designed to make it difficult for users to leave. Really sad to deal with this kind of service. I would strongly recommend looking for an alternative app with more transparent billing and better customer support.

Don’t respond to request for help
I logged in to update my clients workouts but to my surprise all my clients weren’t there. I am still receiving updates from my clients because they still have access to their workouts but I dont have access to them for updates. I have reached out twice in 3 days trying to get help. Unfortunately No luck. I am hopeful to hear something soon but will be looking for another personal trainer app. I cant have an app that doesn’t allow me to do my job
THE BEST
I accidentally purchased a year membership with these guys and was absolutely freaking out. however, they have a very convenient 24 seven chat support that took care of this issue literally immediately! THEY REFUNDED ME ALL MY FUNDS BACK IN UNDER 10 MINUTES. Will be with these for as long as they are under operations🙏🏼💯
App keeps crashing
Every time I open the app, it closes.
Very solid app, minor QOL improvements exist
Love this app!! Works amazing fundamentally. Super glad my trainer uses this app with me. My critique: music pauses when using the TrainerFu timer in app on IPhone. Music will not resume unless you open your music app. And click play. Same occurs when watching in-app TrainerFu videos.
Glitchy
When I try to start a new week of workouts programmed for my clients it glitches out and I’m unable to create a new week for my clients. The entire screen goes blank and I can no longer look at each new week without something going wrong. If I try to scroll down to see my Saturday each week it won’t let me scroll down that far either. The app would be great if I was able to scroll down to Saturday or start a new week with my clients without the entire screen going blank during the Plan Template and could actually continue my 16 week programs.
2 year customer
As a CPT I purchased TFU. I had it for two years my clients used it It was included w the the fee with me to unsure I had a way to follow and track. Love that you can add videos of yourself doing exercises or anyone to the app. The tracking is good provides graphs or data. It’s easy to create a plans and update plans. It’s easy to l arm to use as well and it offered forms for hiring clients free of charge. You could even edit forms add your own logo etc Aldo you can avg other trainers and their client's as well and charge a fee. Yiu will have to pay more fur the app so it’s worth it I didn’t like that it didn’t offer meal planning. I also cancelled my membership because of lack of support. I had an issue where the all stoped sending my clients an email to accept the app. When I contact mani, the response was anything but helpful. So I cancelled my clients didn’t seem to mind either. I’ll try a new app that offers meal planning next . I wound have given 4 stars but the lack of support was very disappointing.

Learning curve on editing & saving workouts
Somewhat confusing to edit whole workouts vs individual exercises, but it seems to be making sense with practice. Also sometimes I will finish workouts and hit save multiple times, only to find the workout never makes it into my feed or progress. It doesn’t get saved for some reason. :/
The Email
No matter how many times I sent my clients the email, they never received it. If this problem could be fixed then I would keep the app,but unfortunately I had to let it go.
Improve bugs and glitches please
I like the concept of the app but as i’m trying to create workout plans some descriptions don’t save and it is very time consuming please fix then this app is a 5 star app

This app made me lose all my data
Had all my client’s templates on this app and their diary and for it disappear. I need answers, or i will be canceling my subscription to this APP ASAP.

I would really love to see an application where you can assign macros and calories to your client in the same way that Trainerize does. Otherwise, great app!
You can’t use your own YouTube videos
It’s okay... it said you can add your own YouTube videos for exercise demos but they only provide you with very limited results. I tried to even copy and paste the link to my YouTube video for a client but it wouldn’t even let me do that. My video is even listed as public with tags and everything. I’ve decided to just continue using my website/Facebook messenger for my clients. I’m so glad that I’ve discovered this during the free trial. Otherwise I would have lost money on an app that doesn’t provide what I’m looking for for me and my clients. I was hoping this app would have made things easier for me and my clientele. Turns out what I’ve been doing is a LOT easier than this app.
It’s good but needs added trainer alerts
I’ve Been using this app for a while and it’s pretty good except for the fact that if a client messages me or finishes a workout in the app It doesn’t send me a notification on my phone so I don’t see their question or workout notification unless I open the app. This is a huge issue. Pleeeeease add notifications to the app that will alert me even when the app is closed and my phone screen is locked. Otherwise I sometimes miss a clients message and it looks very unprofessional. Thanks.

I don’t see a way to upload videos that I create for my clients. I don’t want to have to pick from YouTube since some of the trainers may not be certified. Please add this feature.

Pretty Good
Seems to be a pretty good app. It does what its supposed to do in the big scheme of things. The only real complaints I have is with the sound. I wish the timer was louder and that you didn’t have to have the ringer on for it to work. If the room is loud, you can forget it, you won’t be able to hear it. If you have music on, you won’t be able to hear it either. It’s like the developer included it to say it’s there but it wasn’t that important or it is a limitation of the OS. The developer can’t do it any other way. Either way it works for its intended purpose. My coach is able to assign me work and he and I can track it.

It’s a good basic program but missing some functionality
There are a lot of functionality pieces missing from this app. 1) as a trainer, the only way you can use the app as a client is to set yourself up under another email address. Which means in the app I need to log out as the trainer, then log in as the client to mark my own workouts done. 2) there is no way to send comments to the developer through the app or online if you are logged in. The only way is through the website when not logged in. 3) the only way you can set up separate parts of a whole days’ workout is by adding circuits. I have parts A through E for my clients which include warm up, mobility, activation, workout and cool down. 4) with the circuit heading, you can set the number of rounds, but there is no way to set a workout like an AMRAP for 20 minutes. The only way to communicate that is through the notes, which is a very big plus. 5) within each circuit, there is no way to copy an exercise with its description into the body of the circuit. For instance, if I have someone doing vertical loading of 4 exercises, I would either have to enter the exercises over and over (so that they can check off each one as they finish) or put in 3 sets of each exercise (which may confuse the client where they end up doing horizontal loading instead). I would rather see this: if I enter 3 rounds on the circuit heading or the exercise description, there are 3 check boxes for each exercise. That way I only have to enter the exercise once but the correct number of check boxes appears for the client. It doesn’t matter how much of my notes I put in the description, clients don’t always read it and/or don’t even ask questions. 6) when setting up workout templates, the only way to copy them is by setting up the workout for a client by using a template, then modifying what you need to modify, then saving it again as another workout template. There is also no easy way to change the names of your workout templates. Again you’d have to go through those other steps to do so, then delete the one with the previous name. 7) you cannot select an exercise unless there is a video. So for something like running, I had to upload some random Pose Running Method video just so there would be a check box for my client to mark it completed. Otherwise, if I only put in a circuit with no exercise video attached, there is no way for the client to mark it completed and on the trainer side, it’s hard to tell if they completed it unless they write it in their notes to me. It’s got some great features: 1) clients like the assessments section where they can track their measurements and things like that. 2) it has a nutrition tracking tool which may appeal to some trainers. I have not used this function. My clients have used it occasionally. I’m not sure how easy that is to use. 3) there are tons of exercise videos to choose from and seems to source mainly from YouTube, which I use. Not sure how it functions with videos from other sources. 4) there are plenty of places to add notes and comments. 5) there is a chat feature so you can communicate with your clients (and they with you) directly through the app. 6) you can create groups so that everyone in the group can see group comments. 7) it awards stickers which is a cool feature but we haven’t really used it for any kind of rewards purpose yet. 8) being able to make workout templates is a big time-saver when you have clients on the same plan, like I have with a group of clients. So I only have to make the workout once, then just upload it to each client in the group. Overall, it’s got some great features. I don’t know if I will keep using it after my trial run (I’m giving it a 3 month trial). I’ve looked at some others but this was the only one on the surface that appealed to me. It wasn’t until I got a little deeper into using it that it doesn’t cover all the things I’d like to use it for and has extra stuff I don’t currently use. It’s quite expensive $30/mo. For the limited functionality.

Brilliant app if it wasn't overpriced
They could of given you more clients to put on there for free but after 3 clients you made you have to pay for more which is for 23 pound a month which over a year is like 275 pound. How do you expect anyone to pay that. What a joke I will be deleting the app and finding another one now.

Haven’t really tried it yet, I only went through the demo. I noticed that it would be helpful if all the exercises were categorized under major body parts. Get to work!

A good solid functional app with some good features - but the in app cost that's stated is actually a subscription £22.99 per month - which is ridiculously overpriced and unnecessary making the product less desirable .

Best Client Tracking App
I love the simplistic set up and design of this app. Let’s you do what you want in regards to adding and taking away things for the client and just makes it real simple for the client and the trainer and that’s what’s most important!!! NEW FEATURES ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! BUT LEAVE THIS APP THE WAY IT IS! THE SET UP IS AWESOME! DONT OVER COMPLICATE THINGS! That can scare both client and trainer away from the software! The simplistic design is perfect!!

Great app for trainer and client. You can create your own videos on YouTube or link existing videos to exercises. Very user friendly and value for money. You can also enter assessment data and communicate directly with clients.
