Wellness Center & Gym Owner
Great custom app as a business especially during and post covid! Love the ability to manage my gym and wellness center, trainers, clients and communicate all in a centralized location. Been a FITSW customer for more than 6 years and this company has provided amazing customer service, growth opportunity and has expanded tech to be user friendly, competitive and easily accessible especially since the world went digital! I can’t speak highly enough if the custom options, friendly service and quick response times of FITSW and the entire team. If you’re a small or medium size business or a trainer, PT or wellness coach starting off - this is the system for you!
Too Many Glitches
App has too many glitches and no way of getting a hold of anyone for assistance. Upgraded the subscription and it doesn’t even reflect on the app and they also overcharged for that upgrade. Number they have listed on their page rings to some random company and no one answers. Terrible.
Good content, bad Ui
The app is really good, but visual y meres a lot of improvement as it is really confusing. Not the best experience
NASM-CPT
I just started using the app recently and was happy with it until the recent update which has been a disaster. I can’t edit workouts as the app won’t allow me to delete exercises or add sets to new ones. I hope there is another update coming soon or I will have to cancel
Apple Watch
It would be great if there was more options to connect a watch i can only connect a fit bit i have an Apple Watch
Things that could be added
I wish the rest was a actual timer instead of just recording how long you rested. And workout history should be in the workout to see what you did last time
Cant take payments
They use stripe, stripe wont let me sign and the password reset never gets sent to me. I told fitsw this and they said “reset your password with the password reset feature”… uh, no!
Issues / bug possibly
I cannot change the gender of my client in the app , so far just that

Too many issues in less than 24 hours
The app deleted all of my clients and I logged out to see if it was a glitch and it wouldn’t let me log back in. When I type in my login info it doesn’t open. It just freezes on the login screen. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it still didn’t work. This is my first day having the app and I was very excited about it but now it’s just frustrating and kind of embarrassing as I have signed up new clients to the app
Great app!
I’ve been using FitSW for a few months and it’s been a great addition for my clients. It’s easy to use and customize. One thing I hope gets added is the ability to create folders in order to better organize programs/workouts. Keep it up FitSW team, I really appreciate all of your effort!
Far Below Expectations
I had high hopes that this app would do the things it mentions because it seemed simple enough for me to help manage my clients/business. Unfortunately, it is filled with bugs, buttons that don’t even work, and screens that are not interactive on the app. Welp, I thought I’d be a customer for sure before the disappointment.
Ok app
They need to have a help menu within the app.
Could be good with some changes
Good features, but I decided to switch to a different app. 1) Looks to retro, the whole look needs redesigning 2) Supersets/giant sets are programmed badly. Needs a new fresh look, so it all fits on one page.
Clients would love video embedded
Idk if its just my clients but if the video can be embedded rather than opening each one every time would be amazing. So that they can see the exercise info and how to do the movements in one place.
The new features added are outstanding
All the new features that are being added are so helpful! They even updated the app with a feature I requested. Very responsive team!

Very frustrating!
So far, so good - Some Suggestions
This was the only app that could get me close to what I needed when building multiple workouts for multiple clients. Some thoughts: - Cardio movements should be allowed to be part of a superset. Some of us work in active rest, like mountain climbers, in between strength training. - I can see Draft status via the browser, but not the app. It would be great if I had more control over what my client saw or didn’t see. This goes for comments & notes as well. - Even when disabling all editing options on client’s actions, they’re still able to edit past workouts.
Nutrition
Nutrition section doesn't work at all cannot add macro goals or food or set up any diets at all
Love, but there’s a big issue
I love this app and it is very easy to use. However, I have been having issues with the app deleting or changing the weights I put in for each exercise (like I’ll put in 10 for the weight and the app will change it to 60, or completely delete it), and when Results are added by myself (the trainer) or the client the app deletes them so the data is then gone making the tables and graphs unusable. I would really like to be able to use this app but these are glaring issues.
Love how simple this is to use
Thank you guys for making this so simple to use given all the features it has. It’s so much easier to use than the other fitness trainer softwares I have tried to use for my coaching business. Very helpful at helping me to keep my training clients on track
Hard to use
Make this user friendly. I have used other app but this one is just too complicated
Great App
However needs push notifications that pop up on your phone. Email isn’t efficient to get notifications.
Issues with workout dates
I have been using this app for a while and it has been great until the last couple months. I keep trying to input the current day for the workout date but it inputs a random date from last year. I try to manually change the date and it won’t let me. It seems like there are some bug issues with it. I would appreciate the assistance thank you.
Too many bugs
I can’t even make a program and log the amount of reps for them to do as typing it in as them going to failure. It has to be an exact number or it won’t log. Shouldn’t be so hard to fix that. Also my clients can’t update their progress or update the amount of reps they did without it changing back to the number of reps I typed in for them to do to begin with since I can’t type in the app for them to go to failure on the amount of reps or seconds done on exercises. Didn’t have that problem with Trainerize app.
Loving this app
So easy to use
Great until it came to cancelling and 1099
The app is great, still needs a little cleaning up to make more user friendly but still usable. The only issue I ran into was when I canceled and I had to reach out regarding my 1099 because It wasn’t showing up on the stripe dashboard since they had me down for not filing.I told them I was still going to and I sent endless emails trying to obtain it and never got a response. I don’t know what happened but I still haven’t gotten any word back and stripe can’t help me. So it’s disappointing to have to give them a low rating
Great app, could use a few fixes
I have found this app to be very helpful and intuitive. The only problem I have with it is that clients have complained that the messaging option is a little confusing. It would be helpful if they could just touch the notification and have it take them to the message. Also, it automatically takes them to the top of the workout every time their screen closes. It would be great if it could stay where they were at instead of resetting to the top. Other than that, I am loving it. It’s very simple to write plans and I love the demo feature. It is easy to add an exercise they do not feature in their library and link a video.

To many changed to app version that makes it frustrating and hard to update
Could use improvements
The app is fairly easy to navigate. Pricing is great. Copying workouts can be a pain. If you need to change set numbers on a superset, you have to completely delete it, re-add it with correct amount of sets, and then re-order it into the correct order which doesn’t always save correctly. Many times when I’ve “added” a workout, the video doesn’t show up even though it’s been linked. With a few adjustments this app could be perfect!
Does not keep state
If you are in the app, it tends to at times not remember where u are, even though it has not been closest. The pain here is u need to navigate back to where u were. Also sometimes the work outs just disappear. You need to close the app and wait for them to reload.
Scheduled Workouts- Do NOT populate
Was setting up a clients schedule and noticed none of the excercises were populating. Closed the app still not showing up. Deleted and reinstalled and still did not fix the issue. App looks like it could fundamentally be greasy for starter trainers but can’t really rate it based upon not being able to even set up a single workout for my client. Will delete and wait for updates.
Good App., But Needs Improvement.
Love the concept of FitSW. However, it’s quite unreliable and therefore extremely frustrating. It frequently crashes, for example, when you are in the middle of planning a workout for a client, leaving you having to start over again. Please address these issues ASAP.
FitSW
It is a great app to use along with training my clients and the ability to make them accountable and to provide that constant source of motivation. But sometimes the app crashes during a session or the screen turns black on the app or it crashes and I lose the progress for that session. It has occurred a couple of times now to the point where it is becoming a hassle. The web version is a better option to use as it does not occur from there, please fix this issue.

Perfect and convenient to use..easy to use. Highly recommended for PT like me who’s coaching clients online
Schedule won’t load
Opened app today on two separate iPhone devices. The “schedule” is not showing up when opened. Also, went to “Contact Support” tab and it’s a dead link. 🙄
Best friend a Trainer could have!
I have reviewed and tried many Trainer software tools before, but never had a very good experience with them, until if found FitSW! Everything you need to organize, track, and update a client can be found within this software. In addition, the plans are built specifically for your needs, especially as you grow. They are very responsive to any questions, as well as, implementing suggestions to make their software better - totally awesome experience! Without this software, I would not be able to manage my business and keep a "heart beat" on my clients without paying at least 3x more. Really appreciate how they are willing to work with you, and make you feel you are part of the solution. Nice job all, and love your product!
I like this app is perfect
But the problem I have is the charge my self to client to a trainer I have a lot a problem sing in. I pay the app but I try to fix it no help yet hope I can fix it soon , if not to bad I need cancel and leave
Sick of this app and desktop version
Unreliable, pages don’t always work, desktop version even worse. I hate that I paid for a year of this.
Comprehensive and Affordable
I love this app. It’s simple to use for trainer and client. Adding new exercises is very easy. It’s also more affordable than many other similar apps I’ve tried. My only issue (and this might just be because I have an iPhone SE with a smaller screen?) is that when I scroll to the bottom of a window (like the bottom the PARQ or the bottom of an edit exercise window) my on-screen keyboard covers up the last couple of text boxes. So I have to type without actually seeing what I’m typing. Otherwise, great!
Crashing after update
Every time I select a client, the app closes! This just started after update adding calendar feature!!
