Recent Update Made Things Worse
I really really love this app. 1. It’s free. 2. I can handle really long pieces of text. 3. It sounds good and you can adjust speed and pitch. 4. It used to play in the background. But! after this recent update it doesn’t. Which means if I want to listen to my long pieces of text not only do I have to stay on the app while it plays but I have to change my settings so that my screen doesn’t fall asleep while it’s playing or I’ll have to restart. Also on my old device it played through fine but since using the app on my newer model phone it does something where it plays through the first several sentences and then plays the same sentences over and over until it stops completely. Or if it encounters a weird character it just stops completely. I love this app when it does what I need it to, but lately getting it to work is too complicated.
I cannot send any the audio
I have tried to send the audio to my other account to add it to a project and it would not let me send it I have tried multiple times to try and send the audio recording but it does not work it still sounds good please fix this problem

If I could export a file into GarageBand on my iPhone that would fulfill all my needs.

This app is very unique with its different voices and with no ads which is very surprising considering I always get ads and I just love to troll my friends with this app and they get surprised which I think it pretty funny,overall.this app is very fun and interesting 😁

So this app of your is good but recently, it’s been really bad last few days whenever I tried leaving the app or playing stuff and or turn off my computer starts coming out and even if I sit on the app and stuff, it stops playing after a little bit
Great, but
I use this app to communicate daily as I am non verbal. It used to have a feature where you could add a “?” Onto the end of a question and the voice would make a question tone at the end, but since the update it no longer does this. It has made it hard to communicate when my answer is a question or not
ALL MOST good!
Some voices need to be cleared up and needs to save typed & voiced recorded files for uploads. As soon as you add the uploads. I’m buying this app.

This is great app but I need to reset it every morning or whatever I change volume outside of the app.
Issues
So I love this app. I use it to make TTS videos, and I love the selection of voices. But here’s the problem. When I try and export the clips, it takes me to an ad, and it won’t let me get out of it. I use VoiceOver, the screen reader, and I’m guessing it has something to do with that. I’ve been able to close one ad, but most ads I can’t get rid of. I’m hoping you can fix this because I would really like to use this app. Thanks!

Why u should try
Speak is a great app it helps you become fluent on any language you are passionate about, for example me and my dad have struggled learning Spanish so we tried using Duolingo but it didn’t really work so we gave Speak a chance and it helped us out so much. Thank you speak for helping me learn Spanish and for the growth you have gave me!!

This app is pretty good. The only thing I would like is to have it so you can hear it on a call. But other then that, it's really good! I'm a blind person, and VoiceOver works well with this.
app crashes
when ending a recording and clicking "view" button. Not able to export to camera roll. Too bad :-( I'm using an iPad pro
ok but not perfect
Before I was using Google Translate to make it read my text out loud when I need to check how something sound in english. It was working but you have to be online and sometimes the page reload and you loose what you typed. This app is more simple for that, I just type and it talks, no internet needed which is nice. The voice quality is about same level honestly, maybe little bit better because you can change the speed. One thing that bother me is some buttons are really small and I miss them on first tap.. my fingers are not tiny lol. Also after I leave the app and come back it goes to the main screen again not where I was. Is ok overall for what I need it to do, just wish those small things was fixed

I wish it would highlight words it was speaking, let you start in the middle of a sentence or go back slightly earlier in your text without. But, it does work.

Some shortcomings
Why are default and more preferred SIRI male/female voices are missing? When a phrase is spoken, do not add it to the list again redundantly if it already exists in the list because the list grows too long quickly. Just sort the existing item in the list to the top to show it as a recent item. Why can’t we record just the audio instead of screen recording? It says synthesizer but does not have this capability forcing us to import the video into another app to yank out audio. Please see other apps on the store like speak4me how they do it and they don’t claim as synthesizers.
Where’s Aaron’s voice???
I love using this app as it’s a great substitution for verbal communication due to my fear of public speaking and projecting my voice. But why has the voice option “English - Aaron (United States)” been removed? That was my favorite one. @Loic Verrall please explain.
It spells period and you gotta stop
If you have to stop every time you end a sentence and delete the word period to put one I’ll pass. If trial period a big problem is front and center. I’m not waiting to see what else is wrong. That’s one issue I am not wasting any more time on nonsense
Universal Translations
We are starting to live in a star trek world, where the universal translator will allow us to interact with people and perhaps someday, other species - easily and without communications barriers! This app comes close and is well on its way to being a top app! Way to go!

I don't like at all
Too many buttons on the screen and there's not any button to stop the speaker. The autocorrector doesn't work in the app too. I clear and simple interface would work better.
good! but there’s some room for improvement
the range of voices and interface of the app are good, and the recording feature is a great help. but my issue with it is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to pause speech once it starts speaking, without deleting the input text. it would also be a good improvement to have a feature, highlighted text, or marker that shows visually which part is currently being read in the passage, particularly useful when the app is reading long paragraphs.
