You guys are user-friendly you are a perfect fit for a retiree unfortunately it all of a sudden stopped working. I cannot listen to my records no more. when I go to click the button to listen, I get nothing.
Bad
Lucky I’m even giving one star. When I try to use it, it gets one word out then crashes me out of the app to my home screen. Also I can’t even hear the voices to test them. Also they all sound Caucasian✌️
Lag issue
I would give this a 5 if not for the lag Just wanted to inform that there seems to be a major lag when playing the text-to-speech that didn’t exist before. I noticed that the lag seems to be sweeping over all of the text and is greater on the front end but lessens as you get toward the end of you text. So, say you want to hear how your text sounds so you initiate the player.. there is a massive lag before it starts if your text is long. Then say as you fix things and work your way down through your text, using the paragraph breaks where you can play the text at certain points, the further you get through your work, the less the lag. I hope you can fix this as earlier versions did not do this-or if they did-it wasn't noticeable (maybe a second or two), but now it's terrible. At times I wait to hear my text read by minutes in some cases. This is a problem especially when having to do editing. Each time this lag is there and over time, leads to a great loss of time - and deadlines are unforgiving. Thank you

Unusable
Crashing every 40 seconds or so. It’s taken me about 20 minutes to get halfway through a 7 minute piece

have issues with text disappearing and not saving when i hit save. frusterting becuase I've gtried to do it 4 or 5 times now with the sme results.
British Voices Missing
Thanks for thsi great app. I am in UK and would be good to have been able to have british voices, accents I wouldbe familiar too. That said, the app is great.

The reader keeps stopping, and you have to start over and over.

So far great and affordable, but I am not noticing a way to delete files I’ve made accidentally

Voice can skip a part of the text or to double pronounce it
Feature missing
Your front page says the app allows the user to choose speaking styles, like newscast or angry. But I don’t see where I can click to make those choices. Could you advise?
need to fix its own error mesages
implement ai to fix errors so i can hear more. Also a the pause button doesnt pause its stops playing all together
Worked once, then forces paid upgrade
I downloaded and installed it because it was free. Zero reference to a subscription required. I got text copied in, started listening to it once and then the second time I tried to click pay > it stopped working and said I need to sign up for an on-going payment each month via subscription to listen. It’s ridiculous to list an app for free and then allow 1 time playing (didn’t even export the audio!) and then it’s locked up. I was trying to make the voice sound good, adjusting some settings ,and then I clicked play again and it forced a paid upgrade.
TTS best price for usage
Very affordable for getting good and easily comprehensible native speech. Works really well compared to other available products for copy/paste TTS and is a reasonable price point. Just wish it could do about two and a half times the length restriction because I am often needing to cut documents in half for recording. Most one hour class sessions will fit in two TTS recordings
Sounds like a robot
This is not up to par with modern AI engines - the speech is synthetic and robotic. The app is slow to repsond - lots of beachballs.

Great app
It works well for small text samples, but I'm encountering an issue where the export is capped at 10 minutes. Unless this is extended and fixed this app doesn't work for my purposes.

I started out, and didn't really use it before I gave a review, I actually used it, and its better than any websites I've found for free! Wished I had found this sooner.
Tried for 5 minutes and it keeps crashing
It seems promising but if it crashes every 2 minutes it is not useful.

Like but some words are pasted without spaces
I really like this app and the voices are very realistic. For some reason when I paste the words into the app some of the words come through without spaces, which makes it very time consuming to correct. Can this issue be fixed?
This app seems broken
Nothing ever seems to work as intending, ive only sucessfully been able to use the app properly 1 time. It either doesnt respond or spits out some error code. I even tried to pay for it thinking that was the issue and I still got screwed
Very natural voice
The voices are so natural that you can’t tell there is any semblance of robotic voice. And you can save the auido files and add them to the playlist of VLC player.

Will only play the intro text
The advertisement text that is in the app by default works great. But if I put any text in the box, when I hit play, it erases what I wrote and goes back to the vendor's text. I tried everything, but I can't get my own text to play.
love it but on an update please
love the different voices..... One of two buttons would give this a 5 star. 1 - A pause button. 2- A 30 second or 15 second rewind button.

Really good app, I only rate it 4 starts and not 5 becuase it gets really confusing sometimes, when i paste text sometimes ot will play sometimes it wont, so for that I brought the rating down. Other than that Its a really good app I 100% recommend
