Yes
App going to sleep fixed in the last update
Connectivity issues
Constant connectivity issues, and they clearly never update and debug.
iOS 26 update won’t allow app to stay on screen?
App works as expected, but since iOS 26- app no longer remains logging or showing data past lock screen timer? Please update to allow use during driving! Thanks
Wrong app for new bt adaptor
Wrong app get jb4 pro!
Gauges freezing
I actually love the app and the capabilities are nice. You can do a lot. My problem is the app keeps freezing when u have the gauges open after doing a pull. I have to toggle to the maps menus and than back to gauges for them to show live feedback again. Maybe this is something I can change in settings??? If so would change to 4 star review
Have it open every time I drive

Did not work
I couldn’t get it to connect. I cannot find any way to contact Support. The regular JB4 PRO app works fine wirelessly.
Screen turns off on iOS26
Couldn't find another way to reach out to the developer. The app works fine, however since updating to iOS 26, it no longer keeps the screen on when you're using the gauges, which defeats the purpose of gauges. On previous iOS versions, the app would keep the screen on and the phone unlocked while using it so you could view the gauges and record logs. Please get this fixed or add a setting to force the screen to stay on!
Rework urgently needed !!!
Unfortunately, all criticism was ignored in the beta phase. 1. you can no longer send the logs via WhatsApp or other apps except the Mail app. This function was previously possible. Please change it so that it works again. 2. the folder has been completely removed. Why ? 3. WOT only is also completely missing. Please reinstall.
Screen turns off
Screen turns off since ios26.. still waiting for a fix..
Car Play integration please!!
The new update brings the app to the 21’st century. It’s great and let’s you choose exactly what parameters you want to see and match the colors to your car’s theme. Only thing we need now is Carplay integration! There is an app developer who created exactly that. It’s an app called “OnTrack”. Let’s get his technology unto JB4!
Give Me My Theme Back
I've been a JB4 user for over 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. That all changed with the latest app update. Upon automatic update, my old gauges and layouts were wiped out. Now, I'm forced to use one specific style of gauges, the text on the gauges has gotten MUCH smaller and it's hard to read due to the colors I'm now forced to use. Please add the other UI customization items from the previous version or allow us a way to install the previous version of the app. Thank you.
Competent Turbo Controller
Please automate the third gear logging.
Could be so much better.
Very buggy. The email only support is very frustrating. I also highly recommend not purchasing the methanol kit until they can get lines that don’t leak and fill the trunk up with deadly and expensive methanol. The gains are good but I like peace of mind. I used to be an advocate for jb4 but with all the money they are making I don’t see it being applied to research and development.
screen turns off
ever since updating recently, app auto locks and makes monitoring gauges nearly impossible
Great
But can’t download logs all of a sudden after update
Cannot connect after update
My JB4 is now useless. Ever since the update I can’t connect to it. I get an error.
Car Play Support
Please develop car play support so we can monitor gauges on our car screens!
App keeps showing in Mirror image
Not sure if anyone else is having an issue, but I have to keep deleting the app and reloading as when I turn on it keeps giving me a backward or mirror image. Will update rating when this gets figured out. I’m using an iPhone 14 pro max.
Screen not running
Screen does not stay on when driving around have to keep touching screen or re opening screen
New UI Goes Hard
App looks fantastic after the update. Been going on a year since I installed my JB4 in my Giulia and I’ve been loving it—changing maps on the fly is great and the logs are insane. Love it
App Usability.
My JB4 app has always been useful and not giving me many problems. However, as of today they issued a mandatory update for everyone’s app which completely changed the whole layout and now my car is barely drivable because my JB4 is messed up. No company should ever force an update. It should always be a user option. Literally, the whole entire layout of the app changed.
Only one thing left to improve!
Great app for a great product but it really needs to be integrated with Apple Carplay. I’m hoping for the upgrade soon. Then I will switch my rating to 5 stars.
Good when working
Installed for two days now the Bluetooth connection no longer works at all.
Just downloaded and not happy
Purchased the app a few years back when I worked for a BMW performance shop and hadn’t used it in quite some time. Downloaded today so I could interface with my wife’s car and I have to pay for an app I’ve already purchased once?! The whole reason I paid for it the first time was so I could use it when I wanted. Honestly you’d think if you bought a $500+ programmer and paid the extra for Bluetooth connectivity bringing the total over $700 the app would come with it.
Works great!
This tune and app that goes together like a glove. Got my M550i fast as lightning. Great app and tune!
iPhone 15
Can you please edit the app for compatibility with iPhone 15/15 Pro? It’s difficult to, for example, see the top menu bar in the edit area for the different displays. Thank you!
New Gauges
It’s needed the app for my tuner. For the most part it’s great on the fly. I’m able to check my logs, switch my map, change my tune. Love it. Unfortunately I’m missing some parts of monitoring. I’m sure it’s due to availability and car. But I’m unable to get my Trans temp, oil temp, and some other. I also do wish there are more different styling gauges. 5.26.25 - So the update on the app is nice. FYI…the graphs and such can be found in the files folder if you have an iPhone.
Used to work
Used to work but no longer connects to my car. Which means it’s pretty useless 🤦♂️
CarPlay integration
The app is great, but it would be really nice to see CarPlay integration without having to use a device to force CarPlay or android auto. Please try to integrate that.
Good support
I like the guys over at burger. They are pretty responsive on the forums and provide continuous support for the app. Just send them your logs on the forum and they will help you as best as they can. The module is a boost controller so much of the tuning will be dependent on the fueling, spark plugs, and small adjustments in the app. It’s basically the same stuff bmw is keeping from you behind a paywall. After all their engines are b48s,b58s and for the big spenders s55s . This beat paying bmw an extra 10k - 15k for a trim and horsepower increase.
App doesn’t work on my iPhone 13
The app isn’t working on my phone but works for my android
Won’t stay connected
I love this app, but it has a quite a few bugs. It won’t let me stay connected to the tune for some reason even after restarting my phone and checking for updates for the app other than that, I’m satisfied, but please fix these bugs.
It works, but it’s lame.
Giving this a 2-star rating because quite frankly for the price it’s very disappointing. It does what it’s meant to do, yes, so it’s functional. But the interface for settings is crappy, there are UI glitches (i.e. can’t see the rpm limit value), it often crashes when I change my map, and honestly... my biggest complaint is, for the price... make this compatible with Apple Car Play! It’s literally a car app, and we all know it’s illegal to use our phone while driving, so this app is literally asking us to not follow the law in order to use it. I’ll gladly update my rating if they either give it support, but until then I find this app overpriced... but then again, that’s what happens when there’s no competition.
Can’t save
Can’t save adjustments be cause there’s no way to get keyboard to go away
CarPlay
Please add this app to Apple CarPlay. It would be nice to use my car’s screen to see my gauges as opposed to my phone.
Waste of money & support is useless
Don’t waste your time or money
App function
I recently purchased this and for a product you can diy; it sure doesn’t come with a lot of information for the user. I went into a bio settings and it was just a bunch of stuff I don’t understand. Would be nice if I didn’t have to google all this information. Also, the app inverted and wouldn’t change back to the original position. Some help would be greatly appreciated.
Usado mundo todo , mais português (Brasil) nada!
Excelente produto uso a anos , nunca vi uma atualização que tivesse o software para português , deveriam rever isso, brasileiro usa JB4, na escala de uso 35% Brasil !
Needs an update
App cost $28 but hasnt been updated in a year. Burger motorsports is such a great company, with an insane amount of JB4s sold and installed today. Please make updates to the app, my biggest issue is the constantly disconnecting from my bluetooth.
Gauges and some preset tunes
So I’ve had the jb4 app and tune in my 2019 Volkswagen jetta s 1.4t 6speed since April. In the beginning all the tunes were there but now for some reason a few are deleted from the app. Also I can’t see a lot of the temp guages. I believe the only one that does work for this car is the water temp. It would be awesome if burger motorsports would do a software update for my car!! There hasn’t been any since I’ve had the app. Other than that tho I absolutely love the jb4 tune and app. It makes such a difference from stock!!
Not working
Downloaded, paid … app will not login!
Just needs a little tweaking
Should be a little more detailed on the maps and should consider making Apple CarPlay compatible. Other than that the app works great
Most of the time
I’ve been an advocate for the company for many years. Great products. The only issue with the app sometimes the gauges will freeze whether on Bluetooth or OTG connection. I mean it does work most of the time. As intended.
Jb4 Is No Joke Lol
It's a big yes For me !
IS THIS APP STILL ALIVE?
No updates whatsoever? Paid $30+ garbage
It’s good, but could be better
The app works well. I would love it if it supported apple car play, so the gauges could been seen on the cars touchscreen, instead of the phone. Either way, great app so far, no issues.
Product Improvement Request
Have only been using for a few rips so far and don’t have any major complaints, but immediately as I’m driving I notice a few things that in my mind should be in this app already and can’t be that hard to build out… 1. Name my custom maps 2. Let me see one or a few gauges at a time (screen layout) 3. Apple CarPlay!
