A big favourite
I love this app so Much and use it often when I am studying for exams or when I am seeing patients in the clinic. I do however, have trouble opening up the app on my iPad when I want to study but I don’t want to use my phone. Every time I open EM guidance on my iPad, it just switches back to Home Screen immediately and doesn’t even open.
EML and STG PHC and hospital guidelines

Update
Good content & very helpful. However of late, it crashes continuously which is frustrating. Most crashes happen when searching for something. Sometimes while typing the search phrase/word; sometimes when initiating the search. Haven’t had this issue before. I have an iPhone with latest iOS.

The app is completely lost
Searched for gastrocnemius tear and strain, results for gastroenteritis came up. Searched for muscle strain then muscle injury, only information it has is for cramp and spasm. The app is completely lost or just has very limited clinical information
An essential app
This is my far the most useful app I have on my phone and a critical companion at work. But please can you add pharmacodynamics to the pharmacology section. The peak plasma levels and half-life is critical information and for everything I look up, I have to switch to another app for the pharmacodynamics.
Does not work on iPhone
Used the app for a while on my Samsung. Re-downloaded on iPhone and it doesn’t even open, keeps crashing
Awesome, but broken after database update
App has always worked perfectly but today it updated the databases automatically and now clicking on medication names doesn’t work

Useful app but currently experiencing bugs

New interface issues
Spoke to a few doctors at my facility and we all agree. The new interface is not user friendly and way worse than before. Also why does it tale so long now to search on the app. Will have to consider a new app if this is what it has come to

Keeps crashing on opening app
Hi I have an iPhone and the app keeps crashing when trying to open it - it doesn’t open and just shuts down. I tried to see if there was an update but there isn’t one. Anyone else experienced this? Any fixes?

Old version of the app was much better . Much more user friendly and the layout was better. Now it’s difficult to see guidelines
Registration Process
Hi There, When starting the registration process, one needs to have your location known or country registered. Now can’t you make this a manual process because it can’t seem to find my location as I am abroad at the moment. Really bummed because I can’t use the app 😔

The new update if frustrating can’t even download the guidelines for offline use some of work in deep rural hospitals with bad reception and can’t always go online just to access guidelines I’m disappointed the older version was amazing

It would be of good advantage to have podcast on this app.
Latest update
Used to love using EM guidance especially for offline feature of checking medication doses. The latest update does not allow you to search while offline which is a problem working in the rural areas with no cellphone reception. Please give us the function to search while offline

Dark mode integration for this app is poorly done. Please fix this, It's really annoying. I love this app it has been really helpful for catching up with the latest South African guidelines.
