Apps are not a secret but this app is still one of the best kept app secrets . Ummmm…. I told an ‘apple employee’ about it a few months ago. He was not familiar, then checked it out while we were on the phone an was thoroughly impressed.
Update introduces watermarks
If you have this app already, I would not update it as it will start putting watermarks in your video clips.
Does everything it claims to
No notes. Wish frame size was bigger but I also have an iPhone SE so.
No updates for years. Bit dated.
I was tempted to buy an in-app purchase for this. But when I noticed it hadn’t been updated for 2 years I decided not to. No dual camera options. Really needs updating to bring it in line with newer phones.

Was great app I even paid for all the extras then it stopped working and crashed and then never updated again & so I’m out the money I paid, & I can’t afford that!
1,000% Improved
This app was great when it first came out. It had a few awkward features and for me was more trouble than it was worth so I stopped using it. Today I was opening old apps in the process of cleaning out my phone and the newest version uploaded. I tried it out and the speed, viewfinder, stability and ease of use have immediately convinced me to use this as my go-to photo app. Great work!
Rip OFF BEE CAreful not to download
I download and realized this app is not all it says it is and so I deleted the App within the hour of downloading. Deletion in my book is cancelling but they charged me 9.99 for an app that is not the app I wanted I will reachout to i am sure a Chinese based app company but if that fails CC will take care of it Crazy and no where can I find where to cancel beee careful

Love how Horizon Camera automatically keeps widescreen videos perfectly horizontal. And lets me use the flashlight to film in a dark room. But the free Blackmagic Camera app also films landscape when I am holding iPhone in portrait, and also has more features than Horizon Camera.

This is what we call a ‘Cr-App’. Everyone is asking why Apple didn’t implement this themselves or buy the app outright. Just use it once and you will realize why. Besides a greatly narrowed field of recording area it DOES NOT work at all when filming downwards. So overhead (looking down) for high places or just aim at table or floor stops feature you downloaded it for. Same for aiming camera skywards. Also, instead of allowing per use access to your photos and mic it wants full access all the time- ?! Overall it’s a problem that didn’t need to be solved, and is quickly addressed in editing with one click.
Brilliant idea, not so good implementation
This should be a native feature of Apple Camera. I am surprised Apple hasn't bought this app yet. Implementation is poor. Auto detection never detects if I hold my device portrait or landscape. When I hold my device straight, the image is still cropped too much. The saved video is saved with a note with link to app store

Photo couldn’t be saved, unknown error Video couldn’t be saved, unknown error Perfect. Only has two jobs and can’t do either one. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. It’d be nice to be able to use it.

Did have a question. What’s the best resolutions you guys have used for the back camera to compare to the stock camera resolution? And what does “Crisp+” mean lol?
does not work when docked
purchased this app to use horizontal mode in a dock setting to project image on a tv and it freezes up saying paused and will not work- unplug dock and it works - of no value to me
a bit meh for 2021 iphone

Vertical mode!
Please make it possible to edit and flip a horizontal vid to vertical and vice versa. Been using your app from v1, and this feature would be a dream come true, especially importing from other sources like camera roll to make this feature work.
Unable to save to device
This was my go to video app. Now I can't save videos to my device with Apple's new iOS update and it looks like support has stopped for this app. So sad.

It’s simple and useful! Videos look very smooth and fluid with this app, and you never have to worry about holding the camera crooked. My only request: add a feature to snap a still photo while recording video. Thanks!
Video and Sound not in sync.
The audio is too slow. So lips and sound don’t match. Other than that awesome app. If there’s a way to fix this issue please let me know and I can give a better review. For now I give this a 2 star because the video is perfect but the sound isn’t matched and slow.
Good app for vertical recording but...
I enjoy using this app to record horizontal videos vertically my only problem is that I cant take proper horizontal photos vertically using this app. They’re better than vertical photos don’t get me wrong but i’d like the photo to fill the whole screen on my phone with no gaps. So yeah videos are fine photos could be tweaked a little. 🙂

Video stutters badly
I've ruined two videos by using Horizon instead of the built-in Camera app. The videos will stop in the middle and only play the audio. Perhaps it was because of low storage space available, but the Camera app never had this problem.
Missing The Moment
This app is great for catching smooth and cinematic like movement, for rehearsed shots. However, when you turn on the instant video feature and have your videos save automatically to the iOS Photo library, you can expect your footage to be lost and never saved. Are use this video recorder to capture a lot of B roll for my YouTube channel.

Pretty cool idea, to shoot video at the same angle. Regardless of the device rotation. However, to charge for filters & to remove watermarks, ect is just a scam
Correct existing video?
Was hoping this app would correct video shot with horizon line off axis such as serial film. Alas it does not. Enable it to correct, It would be 5-star.

Found a bug/glitch
While I love this app bc it records perfectly horizontally while in landscape mode, I realized that the audio is out of sync. I notice this during play back when I'm listening and audio is COMPLETELY off sometimes by more than 3 seconds, please fix to make this a 5 star review.

Fail
Just lost a 25 minute video. Had it set to save to camera roll, and it always had before. Guess it didn't like the size of the file. Also, try recording it while your phone is mounted on a bike. The video will be so shaky that it will not be usable. But not the usual shaky. It's 'warbly', I guess because of the way it tries to keep the scene level. It looks like some strange effect put on it to make it look 'trippy'. I will not be using this app anymore because it is not trustworthy.
Worth it... If you pay £1.50
I used the free one for a long time, the difference from the payed version it amazing... Despite what people say it can record in 4K you just need a phone with a 4K camera. I think it's better if the pro version was a add-on instead of a whole new app, then you can restore the in app purchase of you aren't happy with it. Over all great app💯👌🏽
On the level
I've had a Spirit level placed on my iPhone 6 Plus and with the phone shown as being level the display is showing the actual box for where in the film is going to filmed the video is tilted which seems a bit odd.
Awesome APP But.
Can't get it on other devices with my family share and the 2K feature is not working. Other than those two problems this is my favorite camera app 👍👍
My go to video app
I use Horizon (in flex mode) for every video I shoot with my iPhone 7. The ergonomics of holding the phone vertically and getting horizontal video are superior to other experiences, though framing your shots this way may take some getting used to. Also, the turn to zoom feature is genius. One request: I would love if the developer would add the ability to shoot square video - the horizontal image stabilization would be great to have for Instagram videos.
Crashes "EVERY" Time
iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9.3.2, still photos work great but if I try to capture video ... crash ... Crash ... CRASH! *Refund*

Best app for taking video
If you have a shaky hand or in a moving vehicle or ride, you have to use this app. Excellent horizontal and stable videos!
Fake
It doesn't let you record landscape video while holding the camera vertical, it just chops out a horizontal video out of the center of the vertical video, leaving the top and bottom unrecorded. I want my camera to record what my screen shows, but be landscape. I can rotate my dslr sideways and it records sideways, this refuses to record sideways without "helping"
Great app, annoying bug
Over all i love this app, its the only camera i use. There's just one bug thats becoming a pain. When im recording on low storage a pop up comes up saying to free up space and doesn't save the video. Why doesnt it stop and save instead of deleting the whole video all together? Please fix this bug developers and thanks for your time. Good job by the way.
Good idea but flawed
The results are too jittery for me. The rotate and scale version keeps zooming in and out a little and even the rotate only is unstable. I'm sticking to holding the camera in a steady hand! It has also just crashed.
Bug!
The app starts taking video when I launch the app even I have turned off the auto-start option. Not every time but it happens once in a while.
