I like it it’s fun and it gets scary sometimes
Remains one of the best* mobile zombie shooters
I’ve played this game multiple times since release 10+ years ago and I feel as if it’s visually improved in multiple ways. In a world of pay to win games this one allows you to get pretty far before the prices and wait times get too bad. My number one complaint is the institution of wait times for each mission being 20 minutes when most of them can be completed in less than five. Seriously? Watching a minute advertisement to pass these new wait times, while disappointing, is a somewhat reasonable trade. However, this should mean that I should not be bombarded by ads every time I “return to base”. Closing and refreshing the app is faster than watching these ads whenever I want to upgrade or craft a single item. Cannot say that this isn’t a great game with a cute story but these ads are a bit ridiculous. I do wish the story was a bit longer, maybe another branch of the campaign could’ve taken place in a snowy climate?

Adpocalypse
I used to play this as a kid but after redownloading it I was disappointed by the blatant display of predatory advertising. Originally after a mission you have a choice to watch an ad to double cash or just continue to the next mission But all optional ads have been replaced with mandatory ones after nearly each mission even if you choose not to click it you still get an ad. Not to mention it’s the same AI generated slop ads with gameplay clips that aren’t actually representative of what’s being advertised and the same annoying after ad screens that block, obscure, or hard to see x to click off the ad and the little bar that pops up further attempting to try and get you to click them. It wasn’t this bad years ago but the developers have succumb to corporate greed. Which is disheartening because this game was a part of my childhood.

I think the game is really good overall it’s just disappointing the main missions/campaigns stop after tech level 5 and then after that you just have the mini missions

Too much of the same thing
A very good fps game but it is the same thing over and over, even to upgrade to the next level you have to wait days and your earned money can’t improve your weapons until a level upgrade which costs you your earned money, a good fps but very repetitive and boring.

Great game, but only 3/4 finished, a real shame. Has a good story, exciting gameplay and progression, I still replay a level every now now and then, but no conclusion to the game after such a promising story. If they’d finished this it would be one of the best games on IOS, easily; and this company’s best. But they left it hanging it the air…. You can explore long missions on just 5 out of the 11 continents/world areas presented with no definitive conclusion while there are 6 others which could have been fleshed out really well. On one of the early levels, for example, you have to steal somebody’s keys to get through a door, adding an ‘adventure’ element to the FPS stuff which is never used again. Otherwise, a very, very good game. Also, the game seems to have given up giving me any blueprints for over 3 years, either in missions or tournaments.

What were they thinking?
When they’re playing the game, they put notices right in front of your crosshairs so you can’t see. They even put silly notices on the sides, so you can’t see when the zombies are coming. Have they ever heard of opaque? They need to be able to adjust the settings other people’s adjustments also other apps. I have the default so what the heck.

60 second advertisements
The 60 second advertisements after a 60 second game are kind of ridiculous. I spend more time watching adds than I do actually playing the game. I don’t use the free gold anyways but it still stuffs an add down my throat after every game. Get it together guys.

For Better & Worse - The Same
On its own it’s probably the best FPS zombie game on the App Store, even after all this time. It’s really good with a persistent upgrade system, fluid gameplay and a nice amount of missions and locales. There’s a variety of guns and the campaign is pretty good for a mobile zombies game. And if you’ve played it way back in the day, the good news is that it’s just as you remember it. The bad news is also that it’s just as you remember it. Unfortunately the game has not had any updates aside from a few weapons and a lot of bundles you can buy with real money. Upgrades are still capped at Level 11. The campaign has no new missions and remains unfinished. There are no new side missions. The Arena is the same. The Warfare system is the same. No new equipment, heals or even boosters. It’s all the same. For all the updates the new developers do, the only thing that ever changes is the Shop. You boot up the game and you get spammed with pop-ups about what’s new in the Shop. Every “Announcement” in the Messages tab is “Let’s Go Shoppin’.” Essentially it’s just an obvious money grab now. If you can look past the greed, the game is still very fun, enjoyable and nostalgic. But just know that what you’ve experienced many years ago is all what you’ll experience now.

RIP OFF
This game was ok until you get to the end of zone 5 then you upgrade to tech 6 and it send you to zone 6 Europe but there’s no gameplay so it’s a waist of money and my time. Unless you like playing 5he same game again and again and paying for the privilege to upgrade you weapons IT AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF then the developers say the story ends after South America but you can’t keep playing and keep paying and get better weapons and resources and then play in tournaments WHY ON GODS GREEN EARTH would anybody want to pay for the privilege of getting ripped off

This would be 5 stars if the developers bothered to add new content but they haven’t for years. The game is half done. You cannot complete the campaign. Do not be fooled - DECA games WILL NOT ADD NEW CONTENT. I know this because they haven’t done it with their other games either. Please DO NOT waste your time downloading until new content (does it count as “new” if they haven’t even finished the original game?!) is added.

I’ve spent money on this game as I thought there would be so much more to it, the fact that the campaign missions just cut off by the time you get to Russia is an absolute joke, and for the developers to lie to everyone and say that you unlock more missions when you hit tech rank ELEVEN, yes ELEVEN when there are no more missions at all after South America is ridiculous. Do not download this utter trash you’ll only be left disappointed when you’ve completed the entire story and your best weapon is an upgraded mp5 or shotgun because weapon blueprints are also so so rare that they may as well not exist. Joke, fix your terrible game scammers

I’ve been playing this game on and off for years in the hope that more campaigns are added and more tournaments for variety. The gameplay is awesome so I can’t understand why this wasn’t continued and looks very popular. I have everything and all upgrades but it doesn’t give any incentive to buy the new guns if further tournaments and campaigns are not added.
