It doesn’t matter. They don’t care, why should we?
DoorDash doesn’t care what the restaurant do, as they continuously get orders wrong; leaving our drinks, sides, sauces, they don’t care. They do tend to give you refunds/credits, whichever you prefer, for these mistakes, but that doesn’t make your order right, doesn’t get you what you’re missing, doesn’t help DoorDash hold the restaurants accountable, because they need the money because it is business. Don’t bother with DoorDash because they won’t bother to do anything but give you credits for your next order, for the mistakes the restaurants continue to make. Thanks anyways, DoorDash, deleted/cancelled.

I don't mean this in a bad way, love ordering food through this app but this isn't the first time a Dasher has stolen my food or simply taken it and stopped fulfilling the order, and it really is a stressful situation.

Fraud and theft prevail with DoorDash
This company and it drivers will do anything they can to steal your money and have charge you at every opportunity they can they also do not provide any customer service refunds or cancellations. They switch people with false advertisement and our complete fraud
A lot better than it use to be
App itself is a lot better than it use to be… easy to use, support is usually pretty quick, and far less hassle then skip when the order is incorrect or messed up.

Just have to hope you get a competent driver these days as they don’t refund for any reason whatsoever - even if food doesn’t arrive!
Some features don’t work
Some menu options for stores don’t work and the help staff are totally unable to do anything. For example if you are supposed to pick 3 options and it only lets you pick 2 there is no remedy to be found.

Tried everything including deleting the app redownloading, removing payment method, different payment method and re-adding. The app will not let me order via Apple Pay or card payment. Very disappointed and hungry.

Continually delivered my food cold. The drivers took no responsibility for taking the long way to my house and making other stops.

They are basically thieves When they say “refund your wallet” do not do it! They will givr you less than 1/3 of your order value when you get a completely incorrect order. I repeat do not do it! This app has been an awful experience to me

The stops on the way to deliver are jarring
The random stops that drivers make along the way are so out of the blue. You never know when they’re gunna pop up and it can add on an extra 20-30 minutes sometimes :(((

Door Dash vs Uber Eats
Alot of the times Door Dash is by farrr cheaper than Uber Eats.. I love that it has a PIN number security check at point of delivery too which avoids slot of incorrect delivery issues
Always slow and late
DoorDash is always >1hr despite restaurants being close by. Additionally, food is cold as a result of the delay. Wouldn’t recommend.

The service fee are still too high on the monthly subscription… not saving much at all ..

missing items without compensation
I’m very disappointed with this experience. My roommates and I placed an order through DoorDash and were missing a $16 quesadilla and a potato taco, totaling approximately $18 in food that we paid for but did not receive. We contacted customer service to report the missing items and expected either a refund or a redelivery. Unfortunately, we were informed that neither option was available. While I understand that mistakes can happen with orders, I believe a company’s responsibility is to resolve those mistakes fairly and reasonably. This is also not the first time we have experienced missing items when ordering through DoorDash. We have ordered from several different restaurants through the platform in the past and have encountered similar issues with items being left out of our orders. Given that this has happened more than once, it is particularly frustrating to have customer service unwilling to provide a reasonable resolution. Being charged for food that was never delivered, without being offered a refund or replacement, is extremely disappointing. We paid for the complete order and should not be expected to absorb the cost of items we never received. I hope DoorDash takes these concerns seriously and reviews how missing-item complaints are handled. Customers should be able to trust that they will either receive what they paid for or be fairly compensated when something goes wrong.

Really thought the app would of died out for now but glad people getting what they paid for and hopefully it continues that way , unfortunately due to the other 20,000 customers around California that deal with constant delays and refunds but what people don’t understand is that the refund process could determine whether you plan to buy it again while it gone probably not in time to meet a quota on a bill that you plan to have enough for the following week but it’s being delayed due to something out of your control but all I can say is , some of us where just unlucky weren’t we?
Reporting a bug
When loading the older receipts in door dash (click on load more atleast 2 times), than open any of the receipts and than click on X (close), and then the screen disappears and nothing comes up on the orders page! And in order to view the previous orders I have to close the app and open it again.. Reporting on: iphone 14 pro
Order was cancelled
For some reason my Woolworths order was cancelled without my knowledge tonight and my dasher received notification of my order at 6:55 pm when my order was supposed to be delivered between 6 and 7pm. This is the first time this has happened and I hope to God it doesn’t again as I have hungry kids to feed and this just isn’t good enough. The $10 Credit isn’t a bonus, it’s just a refund of the service fee. Not great when I have signed up to annual pass.
2 hours for delivery
I’ve ordered from door dash multiple times over the last month, and unlike uber eats, groceries ordered from door dash is consistently always delivered by 2 hours, not 30 mins which is usual for uber eats grocery orders. I’ve tested it multiple times over the month alone.

Overpriced and Unreliable Delivery
I’m done using this app for food delivery. It charges almost double what you pay to pick up and the drivers often make multiple stops so when the food arrives it’s cold. If you can figure out the Byzantine process to give feedback they just basically say your food is only 15 minutes late so too bad!
