Has Plansource given this app a meaningful update since 2017?
This app needs a back end rewrite. Not a light overhaul - and end to end by actual UX/UI designers, not benefits administrators. The user experience is horrible. All they seem to do is change the splash screen and text colors. That’s not what I mean. It needs to be rethought from the ground up.

Can no longer log in as it says to update and sends me to the App Store even though I have the current version.

Poor customer service
This is my first experience with Plan Source. The interaction has not been positive. The rep suggested I change where I get my prescriptions from (Publix) because it shows as a grocery store! It is the user’s responsibility to make sure they can provide the documents to the IRS, not Plan Source!!! Never had this problem with their competitors TASC and Employee Benefits.

Bug/Glitch also
This is a repeat of the other comment but the app had been working beautifully and suddenly it has told me to be sure and use the most recent updated version. So I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times, only to have the same error again and again. Very frustrating.

This makes life so much easier. Sending in claims is a breeze now compared to faxing or mailing in receipts. Thank you NGE!
OTP Entry Forces Repeated Keyboard Switches
When entering an email OTP the app forces the standard iOS keyboard to switch back to letters with no numbers requiring an extra button press on every letter. Even worse if you mistype requiring a backspace that also swaps back to letters only keyboard. This behavior does not happen in any other OTP enabled login flow in any other app I have.
Disappointed
I thought this app has been great. Now I can’t even submit my receipt because I can’t even login. Keeps asking me to download the latest version of the app. I am already up to date. Please fix.

This is an easy way to check my balance and send an e mail to customer service if I need to. I'm happy. :)
The worst app ever!
This app is the worst app I have experienced. Below I will list its short comings. 1) each time you leave the app. It signs you out and you have to start the process over and over again. 2) the app lacks any customer support 3) the app will provide denied notices, but the notice fails to explain why a claim is denied. 4) when you are reviewing transactions/ claims. If you click the detail link which always lack any explanation. Therefore that option t is worthless, but worst thing it does. It it takes you back to the beginning of the transactions. So you scroll down trying to find where you left off. I can go on and on, but it’s clear this app was cheaply designed and does even attempt to make itself user friendly. Furthermore, the most frustrating thing about this app that it constantly closes and you have to repeatedly have to sign in. In addition, it fails to provide the basic support data and the lack of detail in the denied claims is amazing frustrating and worthless.
Bug/glitch
Normally the only issue I have with the app is the login messages: not able to be reviewed unless you close them all out and navigate to your messages. Or it will close them all out on its own when you press skip. However the last two days t keeps asking me to download the most recent version of the app over and over again. I’ve deleted the app twice and reinstalled. No luck.

It won't let me log in 😅
I JUST created an account, I copy and pasted my username and password via text and the app legit just won't let me log in. It keeps telling me the credentials are invalid. But then I can go log in from my desktop. Terrible app, lol.
Almost as Disappointing as the Customer Service
At first I was pleased to be able to upload and track my FSA expenses, until I met the people of NGE. My first interaction with them was when I emailed them to add my spouse's information in order to get a card in their name, but when I did I got a cold response to "call the center" with no phone number or what additional information I may need. Just a quick one liner. Then when I did call, the phone rep sounded like I completely threw her off because I had to explain to her twice what I needed. I figured it was a newbie, so no big deal. Then I incurred an expense for ortho and I knew I had to follow up with the financial agreement. I submitted some documents to get the ball rolling and then uploaded a few more days after. I got a generic response that it was not enough and I had to pay the money back. I called again and once again the phone rep sounded that she did not know what to do. She could see the documents after "digging around" and placing me on hold for over 5 minutes and ultimately did not know why my expense was ineligible. At this point I am not sure their reps are properly trained, and should spend more time training them on how it the app works and their system altogether.

Says that the credentials are incorrect. They aren’t, and work online. Your app is terrible, and the service should feel embarrassed.
