Easy to use, turns my multi-zone Sonos system into an intercom, including out into the barn (which is on the same WiFi). Easy to group and ungroup zones too. Fantastic little tool!

I have fun but the app could do with some love
I really like being able to use my Sonos as an intercom (not sure my wife enjoys it as much!). Nevertheless the app is very basic and it’s a pity - it could really do with some TLC from the dev. Simple things would add a lot of value - like (1) clearer signposting of when the message you’ve sent it actually playing (vs a sort of “loading” style animation atm), (2) a chime before your voice is suddenly coming out of the speaker, and (3) a button to simply play across all speakers without having to go into menus.
No longer works
This use to work and was amazingly helpful but it no longer works. Stopped working months ago. Please fix.
Near while it worked. Broken now.
We used this to call the kids to meals and such. Neat when it worked. Doesn’t even find my system now. Tried auto find and tried manually entering the IP address of one of the speakers. Doesn’t work any longer.

Works well with manual setup
This works as expected and allows me to call family to meals without shouting around the house. Other reviews said the auto detect was broken so I went straight to the manual setup option and entered my Sonos’s IP address. Smooth sailing after that.

Delay on audio, and echo?
App seems simple to use. Pointless for what I’d like to use it for - speaker system at a wedding. It has a pronounced delay, and an awful echo that makes it sound like a Halloween performance. It would also be nice not to have to hold down the button to talk, instead have the option to turn off and on (for speeches). Requested an immediate refund from Apple as its not fit for my use.

Sometimes it’s fantastic when things just do exactly what they say they will. Worth every penny and turned my Sonos system into a whole house intercom without any extra work.

Long delay and picks up background noise
If you are far from the speakers and don’t care about delay, then this works. If you are trying to use this as a microphone, don’t bother: the delay even at the lowest buffer setting makes this a useless microphone. Also if you are anywhere near the speaker you will hear an echo. I didn’t try to use a mic to cancel background.

Latest version works
It works fine, it's a little quirky. There's a second or two lag and you need to hold the 'talk' button till the message has finished playing through the speaker. It fills an obvious gap in the Sonos Controller app.
Lautstärkeregelung defekt
Die Lautstärke ist nicht vernünftig regelbar, dadurch ist die Stimme manchmal extrem laut und manchmal extrem leise, zusätzlich wird die playlist abgespielt obwohl diese zuvor nicht lief 👎🏽. Wenn diese beiden Dinge funktionieren - top!

It’s neat when it works but honestly 90% of the time it can’t find my Sonos system even if I’m right next to one of the speakers.

Really great app. Worked just as well as I hoped it would. Makes using my Sonos a lot more fun! One feature request — an “always on” mode. So I can leave it on and talk to people with the app open. It would make it easier so I don’t have to press and hold every time. Thanks! Really good app. 🙂
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
Loved this app but after the most recent update (2 days ago) for “bug fixes” it no longer works on mine or my wife’s phone - previous update was 4 years ago and it’s worked very well ever since I downloaded it a couple of years back; now it can’t find my Sonos system.
Useful!
Don't have to run around the house anymore to find people or let them know dinner is ready, just push and make an announcement to everyone in the family! All it needs now is a *BING* sound like they have in the airport or train station!!

An sich nicht schlecht. Leider startet trotz Hinweis in der Beschreibung die aktuelle Wiedergabe nicht automatisch. Das funktioniert bekommt das Programm fünf Sterne.
Promising but needs some polish
When I press the “Hold to Talk” button there is a delay before I hear the sound from the speakers. That’s fine. But as soon as I *let go* of that button, the speakers cut off. In other words, I hold down the button, say my phrase, and let go of the button. Meanwhile, the speakers (with a second or two delay) play my message but STOP as soon as I let go of the button, and before they’re done playing my message. There’s an option to turn off “Real Time Audio” which fixes this, but then it plays my message twice for some reason.
Works Instantly
Works super easy & right away!!! So grateful for this app! Wonderful to be able to send announcements to kids in different rooms or the back yard over the Sonos speakers. They can talk back using the app.

Wasn't sure what to expect as it had no reviews but this does actually work. You can use it as a PA only down side is the lag of about half a second. Can group rooms. Seems to play a .wav file streamed from iPhone to rooms in group.
Macht was es verspricht, aber nicht mehr
Die App funktioniert gut, das Userinterface ist gut. Aber wie viele Vorredner schreiben, ist der Alltagsgebrauch sehr eingeschränkt, da laufende Musik nicht temporär, sondern dauerhaft unterbrochen wird. Das hätte ich bei einem Bezahlprodukt schlicht nicht erwartet. Vielleicht kommt ja noch was ... dann gibt es sofort mehr Sterne.
What’s the rating before you try all about?
You have to rate before you try, irritating. The app works but there’s an echo I’m not sure how to get rid of.
Works as expected!
It took a few tries for the app to recognize my Sonos network, but it eventually found it. The sound quality is good. Now I can boss the kids around upstairs and down without yelling.

Funktioniert, aber leider mit Problemen
Sobald man die Talk Funktion nutzt wird die Musik angehalten, aber sie läuft nicht wieder an. Hinzu kommt das das Lied komplett beendet wird und man seine Playlist von neuem starten muss.
Worked well until it didn’t
Worked fine until a day or so ago it just stopped working. Won’t connect to the sonos system even though they both are in the same network. So it’s a great app if it worked.

Why is this still here?
I guess it is no longer supported. Hasn’t been able to find my sonos for close to a year. It doesn’t work anymore. Unfortunate. I liked it when it worked.

When it works it works as described. However, I've found that if i close the app by just pressing the home button, the next time I open it, it doesn't work. I have to force close the app every time to keep it working. Other than that, it works reasonably well.
Almost There
App works well. Missing 2 features that would make it great. 1) Option for All call or to create named speaker groups as opposed to manually grouping each time, like other Apps do. 2) Volume control should be for this App only, once finished music should resume at the volume it was at before, currently the music resumes but loudly as it needs to be turned up to hear your voice.

Was working great. Then just stopped working, says no speakers detected, I manually typed in IP address but no joy there, I emailed developer but no reply a week later.

I literally just downloaded your app and guess what.... It worked for 10seconds before crashing . Awesome - NOT. Update your app and actually make it worthy of bring purchased

Great little app for your Sonos speaker system. I use this to yell at my kids to get out of the pool or just annoy my wife in general when I’m bored and want to talk to her from the other room. She loves it! 😬😎 Also I emailed the creator when it was broken due to a Sonos update and he was very responsive and quick to get it back up and running! A+

Alright for a laugh but has issues.
I downloaded this app and it was running inside a minute with no issues, it detected all my Sonos speakers. When you press start it pauses the playing music straight away but takes upto 15 seconds to activate the microphone. I did find when you press stop the app crashes more often than not but by then the job is done. The only real usability issue I found, was after changing zone the volume slider intended for the voice volume, would still control the volume of the now un paused music in the previously used zone. My iPhone 5 is on the latest iOS with all updates installed. In summery I used this app to ask my wife for a beer, worked as I wanted first time and I got the result I wanted, so for that worth the 79p. I doubt I'd use it do anything more critical but if the issues were fixed, this app would be perfect.
