definitely has a glitch
I played this from levels 1 to 40 with no problems super easy with plenty of time and plenty of cards left. But once I hit level 41 I could never get past it. I literally have played it 20 times and have not been able to go past it. so I just deleted it. Good luck getting past this level. I think it’s definitely a glitch.

Only reason for 4 stars is level 11 is super super hard very hard to beat stuck going to be 3 days starting tomorrow not many games out there that level 11 is that hard. If they make a bit easier would happily rate 5 stars

This is one of the best word solitaire games I've come across- of many! The words and categories match well, and become increasingly more difficult. It has great little "side" games to earn points, and keep interest in the game. No more ads than any other game, but well worth it. I'm only on Level 48, and hope it continues to be this wonderful! I had to highly recommend it at this point because it is exceptionally great so far.
Too Tough
When you have to spend 15 plus lives a single level, there is a problem. Each move is not one move, it’s two. I enjoy playing solitaire and word games, but this game is too frustrating.
One of the better freemium word solitaire games
Fewer ads than the original word solitaire game - in line with other freemium games. Occasional performance issues with low frame rates but they usually clear up after a minute of play. Unlike real solitaire and some other word solitaire games, every deal is not possible to win. You will encounter this a lot in later levels. Sometimes you can’t even make a single legal move; you have to use a power up or restart the level. I guess this is a way to encourage using power ups? Unlike others, this one has a story. The story encourages continued play as you want to find out what happens next. It works sometimes. Unfortunately it is extremely melodramatic, a bit inconsistent and confusing, and the characters spend most of their time looking sad. It also says many times you are going to the cliff next to get the big reveal… and then never goes. Eventually the story shifts to a totally different focus. So I could take it or leave it. Sometimes it incorrectly marks a drop zone as invalid and clears your coins. Mildly annoying. But the only truly annoying part of the game is dragging stacks. You have to select the back-most card to do it otherwise you drag the top card. There is no need to ever drag anything other than the whole stack, and other word solitaire games group the cards for dragging for this purpose.
All about the money
This game is fun, but if greed continues to be the main point in playing, this app will fail.

The story is stilted and repetitive in places. Some of the items belong in two categories, but the player is penalized for being “wrong.” I refuse to play a game where full ads pop up not only in between levels but during gameplay.
Good but has bugs
The story is interesting and the word solitaire is great. Unfortunately, once you get above level 50 you start seeing bugs like unsolvable puzzles or random cards. Hopefully, they’ll test and fix the errors soon.
So disappointed
I enjoyed this game then I paid for no ads. Now it won’t open!
Interesting story concept, but bad execution
The gameplay is decent but the story is all over the place. I’m at about level 230 and there are so many times the story has contradicted itself. Like, the charcters will discover something then a few chapters later, they’ll rediscover the same thing in a different place and act like it’s new info. Kinda seems like it was done by AI, which I don’t like. Not a bad game but if you’re gonna give it a storyline, make it consistent.
Fun
I downloaded this through an app testing site, and I really enjoyed playing it. Ads are to be expected when you are being rewarded for game play, however I did not find them particularly egregious, one after each level attempt. I wasn’t actually interested in the story aspect, and it was easy to skip. I have a decent vocabulary, and found the levels challenging, and learned quite a few new words! For those who are testing, the reward tracking was accurate and immediate, which I appreciate. I was able to complete the 500 level objective for the mission, with the early completion incentive, mostly because I found the play engaging, when I usually became bored and quit early with many of the other game offerings. The gameplay is smooth, and I did not encounter any glitches or freezes.
Levels
It’s rather ridiculous how every time you fail a level you still have to play the same dang word solitaire. They don’t switch it up and you’re forced to spend money with every flip it takes a move twice. You’re really only making a couple of moves then look at that you have to use more coins. Ive been stuck on one level and I’ve had it. Deleting this pos game.
Ok game
I really like this genre of games it would be better if they had a daily check in. I breezed through the first 30 levels. Most were fairly easy. A couple I had to play more than once to pass, so an occasional challenge! Definitely learned a few new words, then I hit level 30(I think) and I have played it at least 20 times over the past couple days. There are 3 groups of 8 3 groups of 6 2 groups of 4 and 3. At this point I will have to pay to continue as there is no way to earn points without passing the level. Good thing is I have memorized all 8 amino acids and 8 ways to worship! I might check back for updates but I’ll play the other versions.
Game update
After the update I cant get back into the game. This happened before and I had to delete the game and reinstall. I don’t want to start over again!
Glitchy and too many ads
I really want to like this game but I have lost multiple levels due to the game just breaking on me with literally nothing I can do. It’s super glitchy sometimes i have to replay certain levels. additionally there are ads in between every level even though some levels don’t even take a minute to complete. it also costs 10$ to remove the ads which is ridiculous.

You never get a good run to win and choosing a nickname is impossible unless you give 5 stars

If you don’t want to pay money, stay away from this one. I have played a particular level every way you can and can’t beat it without paying.
Good game if it works
I was enjoying the game quite a bit, until the most recent update. Now it never finishes loading to open. If you can get it to open, it is fun, and I’ve even learned some new words from it.
Riddled with bugs
This game has reset on me 2x! The first time I was story level 19. The second time I was level 12. I’m in the game fine one minute, the next time I get into the game it is back at level 1.
Characters have disappeared!
I’m at a point in the story where things have been rushed out it seems. Images for characters have disappeared. Poor Thomas is completely absent. Oliver’s images has been subbed by that of James and I forgot for a moment James’ name because he’s being used as multiple people! The story line has been a bit muddy at times making Emma and James a little too close to be getting involved and at other times their family tree breaks off a bit further back. These are not difficult distinctions to keep straight, y’all. And keeping main character icons in place should be very simple. If you’re going to charge money at all for a game in any way you had better have your act together. We could all play this game without the story. We like the story well enough but you’d better keep it straight.

I’m on level 52 and it’s impossible to play. There’s only one card in the stack of cards up the top. I can’t do anything to win. Please fix this!!!!
The try out features messes up the game
I was playing the game having fun but when I got to the level where it forced me to try out the target features it told me to press the card area and nothing worked. Maybe make it so it is an option for people to use those extra features not a requirement. Because the game was fun before that glitch.

Random failures
Recently the game has started to incorrectly flagging no remaining moves and will not allow you to complete levels even when there’s are moves available and lives left. Previously the game had been enjoyable and worked correctly
Glitch or Bug
This is a good game, but I had to delete it as every time I used a booster to start a hard level the game would glitch and the first category was unplayable, I couldn’t add a card to the stack making it impossible to play the level let alone beat it. I lost not only the boosters I used but also a life each time! Not fun. Sorry. Other than that I liked the game a lot. Thanks.
Amended Review
I am amending my previous review; the issue was resolved (I had an impasse where a category card and its subcategory were the same name so could not progress.) This is an excellent game - challenging but not impossible. If you enjoy word association and improving your vocabulary give it a try.
Worst game I’ve ever played
Most of the cards don’t even make any sense or are just stupid don’t even waste your time with this game you’d get more IQ playing talking tom than ts

Freezes
I really like this game in that it has the card game itself and a storyline to follow as well as side games. The only thing that I don’t like is that after I win a level and watch an ad the game sometimes freezes leaving me without the win for the level so I don’t get the point to put towards moving forward in the storyline. This has happened multiple times and it’s frustrating because sometimes the point is the one that moves me forward. If it happens again I may have to abandon this game as much as I don’t want to. I get they need ads to make money but this is getting frustrating to say the least.

I downloaded this game after seeing an ad for it in another game on my iPad. I started playing and got hooked on the story. Completed it within a week. Please add more content as I loved this game so much
Where to start
I never leave reviews because I never cared to, but this game has definitely triggered something in me. The art is so obviously AI, it’s just incredibly lazy. I’ve been stuck on level 46 for so long I’m actually losing my mind. You run out of coins very quickly and it’s impossible to beat a hard level without them. (Not unless you give in and pay!) FIX YOUR GAME!! It should not take me 2 days trying to beat ONE LEVEL. Countless lives spent and still waiting for more attempts.
Too many Glitches!
I really enjoyed playing this game at first. Didn’t mind spending $2 for no ads. However, I’ve reached Level 112 and it freezes. Very disappointed. Please refund my $2.
Keeps shutting down
I will get completely through a deal and it will say I’ve won but when I click continue the game shuts off. When I click the game back on, it opens up halfway through the one I just completed and I have to complete it from that point again. Very frustrating!
