12 toppings placed one by one 12 times on almost every pizza as everyone comes in and requests “all dressed.” Completely unbalanced.
Content is a downgrade from the free version
The game is fun, but is a disappointment that the free version of the game has more content (items, etc). We should at least be able to have the same content as the free version of the game.

this is easily one of the best games i play. it doesn’t make you pick a gender or avatar you can’t change, so i’d recommend it to nonbinary people and everyone else. it’s very inclusive and funny. but sometimes the orders and responses can get a little repetitive and customers can sometimes get mad 😠 when i do the right order so if you can fix that, it would be grate (pun intended. like, a cheese grater? grate?) otherwise GOOD PIZZA,🍕 GREAT 👍🏾 PIZZA— a enthusiast ovenist
Chapter 5 polar bear bugged
I’m on chapter 5 where the pink bear asked me to friend the polar bear but it will not pop up for anything. Please fix it so I can complete chapter 5. Please fix it so I can play the amazing game. It’s stuck on this part and won’t allow me to play it. I emailed support with a screen recording It’s working now ❤️
Awesome Game
I used to play the non-arcade version and loved it. I was super excited to see it come to arcade but I have to agree with other reviewers that the gems need to be easier to earn or maybe the cost of upgrades lowered.
Gems need to be fixed but won’t be
I would love to play and enjoy this game but without the option to watch ads to earn gems, progress is unbearably slow. I would be willing to give it a chance if the team showed any intention of fixing this, but every review with this complaint gets the same nothing response. “Thank you for your review! Reviews like yours are exactly how the game keeps getting better. We hope you'll keep playing with us as the game grows.” There’s no promise of improvement there.
Frustrating and no one is being listened to
It literally takes forever to acquire gems and multiple online forums agree that its a big issue that its more enjoyable to play the original game being forced to watch ads to progress, really concerned how devs have replied to multiple reviews complaining about this but have done nothing to remedy the issue, really dissappointing

What I like about this game is that it’s one of those games that you can play for a long time and not have a daily challenge and then having to wait to log the next day.

This version does not feel like a premium experience compared to the ad-supported game. This game is fun but lacks a lot of content from the ad-supported version. There are many cute purchases you cannot access on this Apple Arcade version. They require cash purchases on the other version. Why are they outright missing here? You can only earn 7 gems per day after one hour of grinding meaning it would take 11 days to earn enough for one topping buddy. The events help but I am frustrated with the game. On the regular game I could watch ads and have all the buddies by now. But I still only have half. Glad the events give us some gems but it is still not enough. I cannot buy any time-limited decorations because I need to get the buddies first.
Cute but annoying
I like the concept of the game but I think it's petty to have a bad review and criticized because a particular customer didn't like the arrangement of the toppings. We got the ingredients right that's the main thing. The refunds within the game really take away from me wanting to play. If I had the right ingredients, cooked it right and sliced it right there is no need for a bad review and refund. 🙄

Great, but it gets busy.
I really like this game, but once you get into the 4th chapter, things get a little overwhelming. Customers are flooding in, and while you’re dealing with them, you also have to manage the online orders. I still like this game, but I like the more peaceful spinoff, Good Coffee, Great Coffee better. If I could, I’d give this 4.5 stars.
Frustrating
The only reason for the 2 stars is the graphics and general gameplay, this is SUCH a cute game, I love all the graphics and the slow pace. I love that there is a storyline and all the quirky characters. But this is an arcade game, I don’t expect to have a ton of unachievable items you can only pay with gems, this needs to be reviewed ASAP. In fact, I don’t expect any gem items in an arcade game. This really lets the game down imo. Profit margins are also soooo low, I’m barely able to afford upgrades that would make continuing worthwhile. I might pick this now and again for the cosy graphics but it’s not like some of the other games on the arcade that are worth playing.
Losing interest
I’ve played since day 1. I’ve gotten all the topping helpers. There just isn’t incentive to keep playing with the way the gems are distributed. I can’t buy decorations or extra garden space with the pathetic gem payout for each game day. When I play 10 in game days, I should get 10 gems not 1. You guys haven’t listened to player feedback at all. On top of that, the customers orders get annoying and the negative reviews for being off one ingredient is dumb.

Horrible game
The game is so bad; a single recipe that a customer asks randomly changes throughout the game making it nearly impossible to remember what goes on what. All the topping buddies are gems which are a pain to get, takes way too long, and there are too many toppings that manually doing them take too long. Tooping buddies should just be cash based. Then the fact that it’s “always put cheese and sauce unless they say not to” then you have someone ask for cheese and they get mad cause you put sauce on it.

It’s a great game but as someone who played good pizza great pizza not on Apple Arcade I can see it’s missing a lot of the good things such as the ingredients, people, different story lines etc. please please update eventually.

unfortunately i played nearly 100 days of the original gpgp before the plus version, i lovee this game! and i was so excited to see a upgraded version. my excitement faded when i realized i had to start from day 1. ive spent so much time (and some money!!) on gpgp og that i dont even want to play this new version unless theres a way to transfer my data

Bit annoyed
I really like it but I’m not going to get past the middle of chapter 2 because so much is locked behind a premium currency which you cannot acquire in meaningful amounts, as it’s a arcade app. All I got is an auto cutter, cheese and sauce boy, and I just end up having to manually place all 124 toppings for some complex pizzas, became a chore. All the automation is locked behind the currency.

Please add the rest of the chapters, I started on this game but I finished the available quests and I don’t want to start over on the original game and lose all my progress :( so please add all the current chapters to good pizza great pizza+ and not just the three that are currently there
Much slower progress than the paid version
I appreciate being able to play the game for free, but the original game was designed to make money via upgrades from ads. This version is is very, veery slow to progress without those upgrades, which obviously have been taken out of this Arcade version.

Constant Crashing When Loading Saved Game
I played this game fine for a bit and closed it. I went back later to load my saved game and when I clicked on Day 1, the game just keeps crashing on my fully up to date iPhone 16 Pro Max. Uninstalled the game and will play something else. Not a good experience.

It’s so fun to make pizzas but I don’t like how it stops helping you but other wise amazing game!
Repetitive
Okay for an hour but then it just gets boring and repetitive.
Too grindy
It’s a fun and good-looking game but it feels punishing to play with such a slow rate of gems. How will I ever afford more than one or two upgrades to feel rewarded? It seems like it was made for the ad-supported version and not adjusted enough for Apple Arcade. Maybe the developers don’t feel the incentive to improve it, despite the fact they are going to just keep getting reviews like this pointing out this one thing that really harms it.

the original is better.
honestly prefer the original. in the original you can watch ads for gems, this makes it easy to build them up and access upgrades you need for gems, however you cannot do that in this version. it’s really hard to build up gems as you only earn them through achievements. Also can only see 3 of the stories on here when there is 5 and multiple ongoing events on the original. if you don’t care about the upgrades/decorating the shop and want no ads this one is for you.
Needs improvement
I really like the game, I enjoy the characters however the upgrade system for gems is sadly flawed, compared to other games that have joined arcade where upgrades were also gems based they translate this into either low gem upgrades so you can purchase an upgrade per day or multiple times per day or they vastly increase the gems you gain (or even remove gems all together and make it purchasable with the games money that you make per day). For some unknown reason their release of this game on arcade where you get 2-3 gems from daily playing then almost nothing else. Where upgrades are 40gems to 60 gems then the cosmetics are upgrades of hundreds of gems, which makes zero sense for an arcade game. It’s like they’ve taken the original and turned into arcade while doing nothing to adjust progression with this in mind. Either remove gems all together and make it cosmetics and upgrades are purchasable by saving up money, or increase gems per day (orders giving gems, way more gems from daily login) and or lower the gem requirements massively which is in line with the games current rate. Great game but extremely low execution for an arcade game, especially compared to other arcade games coming from heavy p2w focus to arcade which they have fully revamped the system by removing p2w and making all upgrades accessible. Until they actually listen to the arcade players and make these changes this review won’t change. Genuine shame for something so interesting to fall on its face.

Could be good but isn’t. Seems like the arcade version is missing half the game.
Takes way WAY too long to earn gems. The story finishes far too quickly (and judging by the Reddit group for this game, half the content isn’t included). Once the story ends it feels like the game comes to a complete halt as it takes too long to achieve anything to move the game forward. You also aren’t given the opportunity to redo the final competition if you fail it which further shortens it. Despite “paying” for and activating the “undo” function, it doesn’t appear. Which is annoying and affects gameplay. The “news reports” are annoying and creative, as is some of the speech of the customers. It’s a shame as it could be a really good game, but with all of these issues, it just isn’t - not enough game and not good enough to appear on arcade.
Love this game with one problem
I absolutely love this game! It’s so addicting and the events are so much fun. The only problem with the Apple Arcade version is the ability to acquire gems. In in non Apple Arcade version, you can just watch ads or pay for more gems. Obviously that’s not available here. My recommendation would be to allow us to buy gems with pizza money. That way it’s easier to get gems, and you don’t have to wait for the next day to compete the daily quests for gems.

I usually hate games that have ads in them because they ruin all the game experience. This game also has no in-app-purchases. I love serving yummy pizzas to the customers and playing the new event! Such a fun game!!! I love it 😋🍕💖
Not as well thought out… and where’s the undo?
As others have said, it’s really difficult to earn gems to get the upgrades. It would be great if there was a way to spend the in-game cash on gems as I seem to be accruing loads of that, but have spent all 150 gems I got from hitting the achievements. (And there’s loads more upgrades that are therefore pretty unobtainable)
Good pizza great pizza
I like it. It has no ads and it’s completely free and very calming. I just think that sometimes the customers will place their order and I will do it correctly and they can get angry but other than that. I love this game.
