Love the game!
I own almost everything except 1-road tile & about a dozen decors. How can I restart or start another player, please?
Zero thought required
I want to love this game. But the moving pointer finger that repeatedly shows you exactly what your next move should be completely ruins it. Thinking about the order you want to play? Nope, if you don’t move for literally half a second, that hand is “helpfully” showing you where you should drag the piece. It’s incredibly distracting. There is no way to turn this off. I have never been so immediately irritated and put off by a game.
Fun… but needs an update!
Needs new spawners and an updated board!

I enjoy the game, but have run into some glitches (I assume) and every attempt to reach support goes nowhere.
Endless merge no ads no payments
The only merge game that is not predatory! No “energy” nor pay to play. No ads. Endless merging with no interruptions
Game is dead
I played through the whole thing and loved it. The story is real cute and the merging and mini games are fun and relaxing. But I just learned that the developers have pretty much abandoned it! They keep promising new events and a “misty” area to be revealed and it hasn’t been revealed in two years. My disappointment is great, which is why the 1 star. I invested in a story with no ending at all, and that’s just a waste of my time.
Great game but has glitches
I play this game everyday. I finished the game. I have close to 2 million points I can’t use for anything. My major issue is with tent events. This is the second yearly winter tent event where I was not awarded the castle, road, or decorations that come with completing the tent event. Is there a fix for this? I do love the game just seems weird that I am not able to get all the game awards bc those are not unlocked. The game is relaxing and entertaining; other than the tent event glitch.
Abandoned
Pretty sure this game is abandoned. It’s fine enough, but once you get to higher levels everything kind of falls apart. Your bag gets full, the board gets cluttered… and this game still has the pain points in app purchase games have but without IAPs to alleviate them, which just leaves you bored, frustrated, or both. Kind of sad, really. It’d be fun if they fixed the game to be balance for arcade play, but like the title says… I’m pretty sure this game is dead in the water since they do have IAP games that’ll make them the money they want.
Cool abandoned game
It was fun for a good while. I stopped playing because they don’t update it and I ran out of stuff to do. I came back a year later and nothing has changed. Lame.
Surprisingly Fun
I’ve enjoyed playing this far more than I expected. Even though the story is a little silly, it does make me smile and I hope we get more story/chapters! I wanna know about the king and queen, the banished sorcerer, and Edward’s dating life.
Let me turn the hint hand off
I’ve played way too many merge games and I was excited for one that I wasn’t going to feel the need to spend money on or watch ads but the little guide hand that turns on if you pause for a SECOND irritates me to no end and in other games you are able to turn it off. Also it doesn’t even give good suggestions.

I finished the holidays event. There is no ginger bread castle. I’m on level 33.
Not the best
This game is very frustrating and there are a lot of bugs and I’ve updated it many many times. It gets less and less fun
Doesn’t totally make sense.
Some of the townspeople’s quest don’t make sense. It gives you a little description but it doesn’t always work.
Any thoughts of an expansion for the game?
Loved the game. Unfortunately I’m at the end game. All of my spawners, houses and businesses are at maximum level. I’d love to see an expansion.
Mandatory tutorial.
Too long, too many skip,skip,skip intervals. Why not a button allowing no dialogue, just gameplay? This isn’t zen.
Better than most
I’m trying to find a few games in Apple Arcade that I like because the so called “free” games were getting too expensive.
Will it ever open up misty areas?
This is a fun game… until you get to a point where you can no longer progress forward. There are multiple misty areas that look like the game would grow but I’ve been playing on and off for a year or two and nothing has been added in that time. I’d love to play more but I’ll likely delete it.
Mildly entertaining
The game is similar to many others in the merge two genre, but without the annoying energy mechanics used to gate other games. This design makes it enjoyable to play, but the content is consumed fairly quickly. After exhausting the Chapter stories, the game reverts to boring “event” mechanics. All that can be done then is to upgrade producers, which is only marginally useful since new producers are free anyway in the Arcade version. A player can’t even buy additional houses, though nonsensically, more land can be purchased. Mostly the game becomes pointless merging - either relaxing or mind-numbingly dull, depending on how you are entertained.

It is really good and fun I think it is the best match game ever 5 stars
Disappointed…
I have been playing this for quite a while. Completed all levels and was up to 103 on the Piggy Bank. Had almost 2 million coins. Logged in on a different device than normal and everything disappeared. Lost all my coins, land, everything. Went back to device I normally play on and everything is gone. Very irritated.
Wish they’d add stuff
Fun game but if you play long enough it gets old fast. There are foggy areas that look like there would be additional content but it was never added. And the Villager Quests are for newer players, requiring low lvl spawners you don’t have anymore or cutting down stuff you cleared out a while ago. The others take too long to be viable for the piggy bank or are straight up stupid annoying like putting a crazy amount of stuff in your backpack or selling things. So in conclusion I like the game but it’s pretty overdue for a content update.
Decent game the developers abandoned
Game is fun, but quickly you will run out of levels to progress. Developers run the same “events”, but no actual game expansion. They don’t answer emails or messages. Must have moved on to whatever new game they are developing. Save your time and find something that doesn’t end so quickly.
Unimpressed
Kingdoms: merge and build is a clichéd old school cell phone game, minus the paywall. It falls into a category of game build that I consider "unsafe", that is, if you have difficulty putting games down, this one is built to be relentless, and you will find yourself skipping sleep, and more because it just won't stop, as opposed to other games which max out at about 2 to 4 hours of viable daily, this one takes over your life and just keeps bludgeoning you into burnout. There's no player safety mechanism built into it... and the simplistic gameplay itself isn't worth that. Within 2 weeks of overwhelming grinding, the game appears to be already at endgame, dealing only timed "events" that don't pay off well, and the villagers hinting at a foggy region in the distance and suggesting that could be more to the story in the future... but I'm not going to fry myself any further with it to see. It already told me that the story was over, rather abruptly. I don't know, and it's not worth it. So my recommendation? If you're sick in bed, or in the hospital and need something to really keep your attention and you're unable to sleep because you feel lousy, this might be an option. Other than that… Don't bother.
Great game, unplayable holiday event
No complaints except that the update’s minigame is unplayable. The holiday event begins with orders that can’t be filled from the first spawner. I pushed through to level five (selling individual items to the basket) to unlock the second spawner, but still can’t fill any orders.
Finger pointer
Please add an option to remove the finger pointer. I can’t even examine the merge board without that thing popping up and being an extreme distraction. Deleting the app until that’s fixed.

Can you get to the misty areas? Finished all chapters now what?
No end?
Got to piggy bank events and there’s no more story, ability to build houses, unlock bits in the mist and other areas? Seems like they gave up halfway through development?

Very buggy
Reward chests show me items but I never actually receive them. At least the bug with the mine mini game not working seems to be fixed but it doesn’t matter because what’s the point of the playing the game if you never get any of the in game rewards?!
Where’s my castle?
I played the Halloween event, loved all the cute monsters and animals. Pushed to beat level 30, but no castle deco has appeared in my shopping cart deco inventory. :( I still enjoy the game, though lack of new content makes it less exciting than it was. Does the pay-to-play / win version have more content?
Fun game but lost all my progress
I managed to get to the second to last chapter until all my progress was lost the customer support was helpful but i was unable to get my save back
Can’t get past initial screen
Freezes up. Thought I’d try something different so I can’t really rate. . Let me know if you get it fixed.
Totally Love It!!!!
Finally a merger game with a good story and great 2D graphics that pop out. Also it’s got music and sound effects!!! If only other companies did this. 5 stars for sure.

Taking forever for new content!
Okay at first, and then tedious
Game is nice and easy, passes the time very well. After a while it gets very frustrating though as you’re constantly using up a lot of board space despite your best efforts to keep things tidy. The mine item generator is frustrating. And lots of tasks want the Amber or iron ore. And then you unlock the observatory. The quest needs you to make a level 12 item; which is 2 to the power of 12, 4096 level 1 items… if you’re lucky you get some level 2 items spat out of the Big Bang so let’s be generous and say 3,800 merges… you can’t upgrade the Big Bang either. I feel like that took forever and was pretty burnt out afterwards. And then immediately get a task for a level 7 lol. Coins generated by houses don’t go directly to your coins, you need to collect from the merge screen, which usually means waiting until you’ve cleared space. The board space issue would be resolved with more bag space, I currently have 32 which is used for building items. It would be nice to be able to store item generators in the tab they came from.
Progress keeps resetting
Tried the solution they advised in another review about saving the game before closure, but issue still persists I have had a board reset every time! having to restart the halloween and base game again, build the library…save go back next day and no library and no progress, it’s becoming maddening! Please fix as I haven’t been able to reach the end of the halloween game as progress is reset every time I log back in 😩
More levels please!!!
Piggy bank events are not levels….getting boring without new building challenges!

Everything is max level. No way to spend coins. Was fun while it lasted. Developer, can you provide insight into an update. This game is even on Apple Arcade….
Unplayable since V1.1 update
Edit: V1.1.2 has fixed pretty much all the problems! Game is fully playable, but would say that the odd item on the merge board sometimes freezes and becomes unresponsive for a couple of seconds, and items sometimes don’t show in your backpack as an icon, but are still in there. I fell in love with this game straight away, and have spent many, many hours on it already. However, since the V1.1 update, it has rendered my game completely unplayable. It’s so laggy, I can’t even tap on anything without it freezing, utterly unplayable at present. Please fix asap! 5* game when working perfectly!
Keeps resetting progress since Halloween update
Keeps resetting progress back to save point prior to update. Have tried 3 times now both opening the Halloween event and ignoring it and doesn’t matter what I do it loses all progress when app is closed. Such a shame was enjoying it despite a number of other bugs. Will give up on this game now, I can’t keep redoing the same tasks and progress over and over again.
Cloud sync not working
This was one of the first games I got when I first had Apple Arcade. Stopped my subscription for a while, but I’m back! I almost exclusively played on my iPad because the bigger screen is easier with the merge board, but I was going on a roadtrip yesterday so I downloaded it on my phone and the cloud sync was great to just pick up where I was before! I leveled up 3 times on the trip (to level 22), but when I got back home and switched over to my iPad again it was still at level 19! It allows to create the anchor point for level 20, but then all my actual “progress” would be gone! And level 20 is with the observatory and zodiac signs which took me over an hour to finally merge to the highest level!

Wasted Time
I have repeatedly lost my progress on this app. I have reached out before and support is not helpful. They cannot even see what you are doing and tell you to stay logged into the arcade. I have never logged out and always make sure that I am logged in, but this is the 4th time I have lost huge amounts of progress due to the app not keeping updated.
Relaxing but….
I’ve really enjoyed the ease of this game which is a nice way to switch off after a hard day but now I find I am stuck on level 20 because I can’t work out how to merge Sagittarius sadly :( I don’t know if it’s a glitch or my fault but it’s very frustrating.
Halloween event
Everytime I close the game and reopen it it keeps losing my Halloween event progress and starting me from the beginning. It even takes the money and rewards I've earned. I don't want to keep playing it over and over if it keeps restarting and I don't want to play it in one go just to reach level 30 cause its time consuming

It’s a great game for those who want to pass time without a lot of stress. It somehow soothing to make matches and level them up. Can you PLEASE open up the other “lands”, give us the ability to buy more houses or stores. There was a great game a few years back called Happy Island, make it more like that. There’s no place to go in this game. It’s frustrating.
