Excellent app
Having used other hardware-based note takers, I was looking for something that could do the same without having to carry another device. What a surprise. Astari, working from the watch, captured a great transcription from a large room with about twenty-five people, even those clear across the room. The transcription was excellent. The summaries are really good. Much better than what I'm used to, and I'm very happy with it.
Horrible
So happy I didn’t purchase more than a week subscription. The one recording I have that is 45 min long is not being transcribed and is frozen on processing.
Great app
Not so much a review as a question… How do I export these conversations? I can see how to export the text into many different formats, but I would like to export the recordings.
Error
Se retrasa mucho en procesar las grabaciones realizados el el iWach y en mucho casos se produce error. Deben subsanarlo.
Impossible to cancel
Joke of an app money sucker. Give me back my money and stop using my card
Great app
I'm incredibly impressed with Astari. It is excellent at summarizing my meetings. I work remotely, and all of my meetings are on Microsoft Teams. The transcription can get a little messy as it tries to distinguish different voices, but manually cleaning that has been fairly easy. But the meeting summaries and note capturing are spot on. I’ve recommended the app to several coworkers.
Cannot cancel subscription
They made very difficult to cancel subscription when you want to cancel. Do not subscribe!!!!!!!!! Warning
Well that stunk
Joined a meeting early. Hit pause until the talking started. Restarted recording for an hour meeting. Got an error processing recording, please try again with no option to retry the recording. List a full hour meeting
Horrible Company!
They advertised a free trial version, which I downloaded, and even though I immediately after download, canceled the trial version, the company still charged me for a full year subscription and would not refund my money.
Great product
I’ve been using it for about a month now—an excellent solution for summarizing in-person, offline meetings. Highly recommended. The AI-generated summaries are outstanding and automatically delivered to your email once completed.
Not accessible
I got this app not realizing that it was made without s thought for the disabled community. Sure I can speak into the phone but the new IOS has amazing features that could have been incorporated. Thanks for forgetting a whole segment of the population, but no worries you’re right on schedule with our government.
No Apple Watch Complication
Nice try but major miss by not having it available as an Apple Watch Complication capability. I’m out after this first week. This is a tool I will use daily. It must have an Apple Watch app AND be available as a complication.
I am SO happy!
I have been using Astairi to transcribe my voice notes for a few weeks now and VERY pleased with the results. The transcription is superb and their team was exceptionally responsive to my requests to link my app on my phone with my email automatically. THANK YOU~
Scam
App will not load and there is no support response
A great, game changing resourcee
Astari does a great job recording calls, presentations, and events (e.g. panel discussions), with full transcript and summary provided. The Chat function is very helpful in distilling the notes further for Exec Summary and posting purposes. Works nicely on an Apple Watch with the push of the record button. Based on some of my initial outreach, their Customer Service appears to be very responsive too. Highly recommend.
Unreliable
Has repeatedly failed on important recordings. No response from support. Cool idea but not ready for prime time.
No Friction. Just Execution. Astari Delivers
I’ve tested a lot of tools trying to capture ideas, conversations, and action items on the fly, and nothing has been as seamless as using Astari AI Recorder on the Apple Watch. The biggest win is simple. It’s always on me. No extra device. No friction. No thinking. I just raise my wrist, speak, and move on. That alone makes it powerful. What really separates Astari is what happens after the capture. It does not just record. It turns what I say into something usable. Clean summaries. Organized thoughts. Actionable output I can immediately apply to my business. I use it for: • Quick ideas during the day • Notes after calls or meetings • Podcast thoughts on the fly • Reminders that actually turn into execution The speed is what stands out. There is zero delay between thinking something and capturing it. When you operate at a high level, that matters. If you value efficiency, hate carrying extra devices, and want a tool that actually helps you execute, this is it. Bottom line: Astari on the Apple Watch turns your thoughts into action without slowing you down.
Won’t stop charging my card
I have canceled 3 times yet you still keep pulling 49.99 out of my account please advise when you will shut this down and return my 3 months of payments
The Best App for AI Note taking
I've used this app for many different aspects of running my day-to-day business. I can tell you without doubt this is probably the note taking app on the market today. The template function is essential for being able to create different AI responses with respect to the audience that I'm speaking with.
Unfortunately….
There is no option to export the recordings. Only the transcript can be shared. This shortcoming should have been disclosed by the developer. I’d like my money back.
Excellent and affordable
I had a consultation with my doctor this morning. During the 35 minutes, he was typing his findings. I switched on Astari when I entered his room. I also switched on Plaud, a competitor of yours to compare. When I left the doctor I switched off both applications and a few minutes later I had the output. My doctor had printed his report and handed it to me. Astari's output was clear, clean and accurate. I like the minimalistic layout and organized structure. The content was comparable to the printed report, but the printed version lacked structure. Plaud output was equally accurate. For day to day use, at its price point I can only give praise to Astari. I am impressed and I wish I had found this application years sooner. For professional use you can select many different templates at no additional cost. I use an iPhone but when I suggested Astari to a friend, we realized that it doesn't run on Android yet. Plaud beats Astari on that one. One extra option I would welcome and is also not available with plaud, is the ability to translate the output. Both recognize several languages so adding this would save me the time to copy or export the results into Google translate or similar tools, but in that step you lose the neat structure that these applications offer. There are many similar applications available. Astari doesn't require hardware investment like for instance Plaud and it also offers a one time purchase instead of monthly subscriptions with unlimited use. This is a very compelling reason to consider this application. For good measure, I don't have investments in Astari, nor is there any incentive offered to share this review.
Rip Off
Cancelled trial, charged the next month, and all of their links for refund don’t work. Slick
Great app for notes
I have used Astari now for several days and it is very accurate and easy to use. I love that I can use my Apple Watch to capture conversations. Their customer care and support is exceptional.
Yeah don’t bother
I should have known better but the questionnaire actually sounded promising. The app is lackluster. I tested with a simulated 15 minute meeting in which we discussed quite a number of takeaways. The app failed to transcribe even close to accurately.
Force Multiplier
My experience with the app has been good. I am able to use the tool as a “force multiplier” in the sense that I can now more efficiently and reliably deliver meeting outcomes to my colleagues rapidly in situations where my hand-written notes required recent memory (not a great tool at my age) and quick follow-up action to deliver notes to my colleagues (also not a great dynamic with meetings going back-to-back) which usually takes days or longer. I have one idea to share: The Start of my recording a meeting would be much more efficient (I frequently forget to hit “Start Recording” on my watch at the top of the meeting) if my calendar were coordinated with Astari and the app gave me an alert, “Do you want to record this meeting?” five or ten minutes before a calendared meeting began. Thanks for your work on this innovative app.
Recording
I have a recording and am waiting for it to be processed. 5 hours have passed
