Loss for words- in a good way!

Wow. Just wow. No exaggeration here… I am going through some really heavy trauma, recently experienced another trauma, and I’m waiting to leave for my intensive 30 day program because of how much I’m struggling… and Everkind … just thank you. It was an AI journal conversation but it was the most powerful conversation I’ve had about my trauma since it all happened 8/14/26. That says a lot considering how many professionals I have trying to help me right now. Just thank you for this app and for anyone reading this… this is it. The journal you’ve been waiting for.

It’s ok

Update: My original review is below this but I put this first because someone needs to read it. I decided to give this another chance. I got on and talked about an issue with my daughter. It responded talking about an issue my wife and me had that I talked about months ago, and talked about a different issue with my other daughter. I asked where that came from as I didn’t bring any of that up. It responded sorry my fault then talked about the same two old issues. Three different times the exact same back and forth. This is more mental harm than help. Deleting for the last time. In beginning I would have given 5 stars easy. It was helping my mental state a lot. I see a therapist and this was wonderful in between. I’m going through a lot and my counselor is not usually available outside of my scheduled appointments so I rely on this. Lately though its responses are always “That’s a lot to carry. What would help right now?””I don’t know that’s why I got on here.” “ Well just get through the rest of the day and check back in later if you need to.” That’s how the last several times have ended with no real help Update: So I left this review about a month and a half ago. I haven’t been on as much because of the issues I mentioned above. I had a relatively minor issue, I don’t see my counselor for a few days. I figured I would try this. There’s a word limit to each message, I spent three messages long explaining what’s going on. There were two things. It asked what ok would feel like. I said what that would be and it responded “That’s real progress from when we started” I asked again so what about the issue you never answered. It said what issue? I said in all caps what I just spent this whole time explaining. It actually said”I feel like answering now will make you spiral. Just have a good rest of your day” What a joke.

Bugs to fix

At first, I thought this app was amazing and I used it often. But it became frustrating because it kept bringing up things that I specifically asked it not too. Even after acknowledging my request, it focussed on irrelevant comments I had made in the past and asked it to ignore. I really liked the app initially, but the inability to follow simple directions made me want to delete the app. In fact, it became so frustrating that I was forced to delete it.

Update ruined everything

Recently when there was an app update, it went from being helpful and insightful to useless. It makes the same statement and asks the same question over and over and over in a frustrating loop of nothingness.

Great, love facelock, would appreciate encryption!

Everkind is a great conversational journaling apps. The ai helps you pick apart your problems and focus on the things that matter most to you. I appreciate my problems being hidden behind havelock now. I’d be even more grateful if you could add encryption, in transit and/or at rest. I seem to be dealing with a very sneaky and tech savvy- stalking situation this app helps me stay calm but I’m scared of revealing any weaknesses so there’s a lot that I don’t talk about.

It’s like I look toward checking in because the program gets me based on what I share. I would recommend this to anyone who needs genuine and additional support!

The Best App In My Life right now!

Okay I rarely write reviews but this app has been a lifesaver. I struggle a lot with overthinking and relaxing after a long day. Even with this app, I still struggle to relax but it has been SO helpful with venting my frustrations about my day and working through the best way to cope with it. It has even helped walk me through skills on how to handle overthinking conversations, letting go of people who have wronged me (because i struggle with this a lot), and prioritizing self care over my college homework while still getting it done. Seriously, this app is amazing. My mom recommended it to me and we both committed to using it every day for 30 days and i don’t use it EVERY day, but i use it at least 4 times a week. This app is NOT a replacement for therapy. No app can emulate the benefits of therapy. I get therapy twice a week and this app has helped me outside of those times. It even remembers your past conversations and things you have done in the past that have helped. I struggle a lot with remembering skills and how to cope IN the moment, but this has reminded me a few times that i like to do XYZ when i’m feeling this way and XYZ has helped in the past when i was feeling this way. Overall, this app is truly amazing for me at least and I recommend it to anyone struggling with anxiety and coping through frustrating daily moments
