ITS SO FUN AND INVITING
I’m pretty new to the app but so far I’ve had an amazing experience! Everyone is so welcoming and I’ve had a bunch of run role playing with other people in my fandoms! :)

It was good UNTILL I got falsely banned due to ONE SINGULAR POST. They will not let me appeal my account due to a realistic post THAT I SPECIFIED TO BE FAKE. I will be suing unless they unban my account

It could be better
There’s not much interactions going on, the fan base is honestly very unwelcoming, it’s hard to get popular, barely anyone sees your posts despite putting the right hashtags
best rp app EVER?!
i got this app when i saw an ad on tiktok. INSTANTLY FELL IN LOVE. even tho sum stuff is a little janky on ipad, the layout is great! my only wish is that my fandom would be bigger ;-; edit: it’s been like almost a year, the devs don’t update the app all the hype is gone and it’s so dead. it was fun while it lasted at least.

Love this app! It’s so much fun and such a great way to socialize, meet new people, and make new friends. They also have community challenges that allow you to unlock some pretty cool things. Overall, I highly recommend this app and can’t wait to see what other cool features get added in the future!

I used to love this app, it it my everything. I literally have nothing to do other than this. I always put “adults only” and put trigger warnings, yet that got me banned. They’re not listening to my side is the story either.
Moderation Concerns
Overall a solid and fun app, but I have concerns with not being updated on reports. Multiple popular accounts post uncensored photos of random children and infants claiming they're related to the characters and that raises serious safety concerns. I also have seen, although censored, photos of SH however not labeled for adult accounts view only. There's impressionable young people on here and even as an adult myself I don't want to see SH even if censored like many people who use this app, it isn't safe and quite disturbing.

I love to use this app for the ocs I create and it’s so much fun interacting with other people, everyone is really nice on here (for the few days I have been on it at least) and I think it’s easy to grow a following if you’re like commenting and liking other oc posts. The things I don’t like is that when you delete a comment, the number doesn’t go down so it will still say like ‘1 comment’ or ‘3 comments’ just depending on how many you deleted then when you click on the comments nothing shows up, so that is a little annoying. Another thing is that I thought this app didn’t use AI but I’m pretty sure like 99.9% sure the daily warped is AI— but also you can turn that off, I just need to figure out how. Last thing is that sometimes when you make a new character it will say ‘error with character loading’ or something along those lines and it won’t actually let you use the account or do anything on it so you have to go on discord and create a bug report in their server. And I think features like being able to post more than one photo would be nice, or to just be able to post a photo alone with no caption.

I love this app and it's such an amazing concept in general, but for some reason the little descriptions that show up when you post or reply have been borderline bullying, idk if its just me but within 20 minutes of using the app it's called me desperate, parasocial, pathetic, dramatic, recursive, and plenty more. It honestly ruined the app for me, it used to make little jokes and stuff when I played a couple months ago but now its insulting me, idk how to deal with this either
Still too many bugs
I do very much enjoy rping on this app but it still has SO MANY BUGS, the notification system needs to stop kicking new replies to the bottom if it’s been more than a day since the post was made. It also will cut off replies often too if there’s been a long back and forth. These shouldn’t be so hard to fix so please take care of it.

I love this app so much, I don’t get to rp much with my irl friends, so having an app like this makes it fun, ppl are mostly accepting and it’s pretty fun to interact with peoples OC and other rp accounts

Love the game but there’s a huge bug
Whenever I talk to my friend and roleplay in the DMs of OCSN it breaks and starts glitching, it’ll reload and not load for 15 seconds-2 minutes, put me in other chats for no reason when I don’t go in them, not let me edit messages, and take forever to send messages.

I love this app, it’s really fun to roleplay and share my characters but I don’t really like the loop prompts? They’re really random and don’t suit more serious characters It’d be cool if we could get prompts based on some of our character details or get to make up our own! Maybe users could make their own little scene setting invite, and it could be voted on which one is the best? Ex: A romance route, a sleepover, a spy mission, a house party, ooc character ranting… It’d also be cool if you could choose the amount of people you’d like to rp with!!

Great App- Minor Suggestions
I really do enjoy this app a lot! This all started on a whim when I saw it recommending the app in an instagram comment, now here I am a month later. There are only a couple minor inconveniences that I have had, the main one being the character limit. For descriptive posts, 800 characters just doesn’t cut it sometimes! That is my main one. It would also be cool to be able to repost posts from communities on your main profile, and have the option to put multiple pictures on posts!

Character Ai 2.0
This app honestly could be compared to communism, it was great in theory, but horrible in practice. For starters everyone here is entirely lying, if you were to look at the discord server you could see half the people who are there in power are kids, literal children, this app is held together by already used tape. Secondly, most of the guidelines are broken regularly and its just seen as a normal thing now. Under the second rule, “What OCSN Is Not” it states that under no circumstances should there be “No realistic depiction, promotion, or coordination of illegal or criminal activities” giving the example of drug use, immediately after in rule 5.4 “Alcohol, drugs, substances” it turns around and states its fine? Not to mention, everything here claims that AI is prohibited entirely, example rule 4, where it says “We stay true to our spirit!” Even though these same developers have made a highly addictive app which relies on generative ai and is very well adjacent to Character Ai. Every advertisement on TikTok for this app had a script made with AI, and the daily wraps are also clearly made from ai. (Art here has also been fed to AI with proof posted multiple times on people accounts.) The only reason this is getting a two is because i’ve met really chill people on here who i’ve now met in real life surprisingly, this is upsetting.

3 slots for ocs is genuinely kinda unfair in my opinion i feel like there should be more but at the same time this app is barely relevant so i dont hate it at all! only problem is the 3 slot limit
Nothing applies to my OC
I’m trying to fill out the questions about my OC, and there is literally nothing that applies to her! I was just trying to do the question of social life (she’s very social has friends very upbeat long social battery) there’s literally no option for it, I gave up and clicked something that didn’t apply to her and the next question. Nothing applies to her either. Like man I just wanna make an accurate depiction of my OC on this app.

Needs more character slots
It’s fine, but as someone who has 42 ocs currently and at least ten that I’d like to have on the app, it’s quite disappointing. Most OC creators have TONS of ocs so limiting it to five slots feels very weird and unfair. I hope to see more slots added eventually.

it's ok but it would be WAY better if all of this was added: ・Videos - people will be able to post animations without having to screenshot a single frame. ・GIFs - people can turn animations into gifs or they can share important stuff through a gif. ・More character slots - some characters have very complex storyline and may have more than 5 character slots needed. ・More interactive features - I feel like with more interactive things the community in ocsn will unite together! That's all for now, here's some feedback: I would like to say, I'm not a very famous person on this app and it's not that fun, I feel like OCSN only makes it fun for famous people, my point is, OCSN is only fun when your famous or whatever, because the whole point of it is to interact. I think an idea to help with this is to have an algorithm that pushes people's posts out to the fyp the moment they're created and no repetitive-ness (basically don't show posts to people that they have already interacted with, show them something new!) Edit: I saw another review saying it's kinda like Tumblr, and I would love that if it was more like Tumblr!!! Add more Tumblr looking features pls!

Been on it for months…
I’ve been on ocsn since January. I’ve roleplayed previously but hadn’t for a couple years prior to coming on this app. The social media format isn’t for me and it does encourage a particular type of short form roleplay that I don’t like. So if you like that form this app is for you. If that isn’t there is still hope. I am a semi literate type of writer which made me worried about this app. Don’t get me wrong there was a couple points I considered dropping ocsn. However this app acts almost like an amino or Reddit. It cultivated role players and lets you see their character before you pursue any writing. I have found several writers similar to me and my writing is thriving in a way it hadn’t previously! If I were to make some suggestions I wish there was a better filtering system and thus a more in-depth tagging system. This would allow different communities to form smoother. For example I would filter out a lot of the party and drinking type content in my community so I can see more literary posts. And people can filter out my content that has focus on some triggering aspects. Also there has been a prevalent issue about the app not giving notifications and when they do aren’t indicating the correct time. So getting that fixed would be nice. I really like the banner icons and little events that happen on the app. If anything I would like more to happen if possible with more diversity. Not just western holidays but midsummer, Holi, Eid, solstices, etc. Personally I’d like a higher character count on posts but that’s just because I write a lot (obviously) so I tend to just break up paragraphs. I would like in chats to be able to just ‘like’/‘heart’ messages. Not really important but I’d like to acknowledge peoples messages without saying something. Also a lot of people are asking for more character slots. I think ocsn could benefit to looking at characterhub and some of their set up. But I’m bias because I like them both. That was a lot of criticisms but that’s just because I want this app to improve. I’ve been on it for a while and want the best for it!
