Half-baked
Clearly an unloved and unimportant aspect to CodeSignal. All lessons feel like they were written by a dumb AI. The paths are all basic and terrible. The exercises offer no value. They glitch out and stop you progressing.
Très bien mais un bug vient de surgir
Cela fait 20 jours que j’utilise Cosmo, c’est une superbe application. Cependant aujourd’hui j’ai eu un bug assez dérangeant sur les cartes à swipe à gauche ou à droite, le texte étant trop long, une partie n’est pas affichée et sort du composant de la carte au lieu d’être mis sur la ligne d’en dessous.
Expensive for what it is
Okay good points first, has more complex paths, which are interesting and worth learning (what made me download the app) so if you serious about gamified learning and want to do it with more complex subject/knowledge paths, it’s here which is great. bad parts, not enough chances with energy (one or two a day if you get something wrong) I’m not sure if there’s a way to earn more like Sololearn. It’s expensive if you want to pay monthly, £10 a month +. Value wise it’s just not there, I can mimick this with chatgpt for £20 a month and get value in other areas of my life. I personally think it should be more reasonable £5.99 a month. (I don’t know many people willing to commit to a year just for the price to be reasonable)

sometimes the AI asks the same thing when you got a wrong answer instead of changing the approach price is too expensive

A lame waste of time
It’s lessons may be simple yet what it’s trying to teach is not furthermore on numerous paths that I have pursued on this app it just freezes up, saying something went wrong and there is absolutely no way to contact support to fix it

It is pratical just like other apps I know, but I wish it could have more energy per day to do the lessons.
Asked for Money too quick
Like the idea but free tier is way too limited. I couldn’t even make it through one step before my energy ran out. They’re really trying to make money from ya, otherwise they’ed let you plug-in an openAI key or something if they were really about the cause of helping people upskill

Out of touch
The AI system is not in touch with team building or management skills. Multiple choice questions always have an issue. Answer in alphabet format, but choices in numbers. Choices not always completely listed to answer correctly. Save your time, do a different app.
Love it (a touch glitchy tho)
Worth the download, but I’d probably try to stick to the prompted reply buttons, not type in your own answers… Pros: It’s an incredible app. I feel stronger with the material I’m learning. I appreciate getting to ask questions mid lesson or quiz. Good course structure and app layout. It’s like Duolingo for coding, without the Duolingo shame building lol. Cons: Every now and again, it crashes or freezes 👀, especially with written in answers/questions. Well worth dealing with imo. ➡️ Details for Devs, if they want it: Comso tells me my answers are wrong… to questions never asked or at least never displayed in the app for me. It won’t reply and gives the little error with a button to retry… only for it to jump around in the material suddenly. Another example, I got 4 wrong answers, Cosmo asked if I want to retry, I said yes, and then it ends it without the retake jumping to you completed this course, you’ve got this down…. If there was a place for feedback within the app, I would’ve submitted it there.
Very basic understanding of computing is assumed
The app is well-built, but… I have a decent amount of time using JavaScript and so tried the Rust course. I managed to use up all my free energy tokens being introduced to the idea of what coding is in extremely basic baby steps, e.g. : ‘Developers say “run your code” to mean sending a message to a computer. Does this make sense?’ The asking of “makes sense?”/“with me so far?” after every message was tiresome and felt like I was being talked down to. Would prefer to just the AI say what it wanted to teach me and be able to reply in my own language like “ah that makes sense” or “I’m lost here - do you mean…” or maybe just a “Got it” button. For this app to be useable for me, it would need the option of stating how good your base knowledge is so you can skip ahead of the very very basic lessons rather than being forced to take lessons way below your level of understanding. Could be useful for teaching children or people with no knowledge of computers at all. Even then I think the free experience is going to be too slow to be worth it. A single free YouTube tutorial could’ve taught me today’s learning in 5-10 seconds.

Its free and teaches you what Ai and coding does and what it uses for . And its free can’t be beat that . And learning so much what I didn’t know about ai thanks

The app completely differs from the website. The paths started on the websites do not show up on the app. I would not recommend this app at all.

I like learning… I know enough of the basics to be useful but need more knowledge. Sometimes academic reading is hard for me to make sense of. Theses questions make it so much easier!
Interesting Approach!
I really enjoy the sessions and prompts along the way. It doesn’t feel like forced learning, but rather short engaging exercises.
Way too basic on the app
This apps works if if have never coded in your life. But for any serious learning and levelling up your skills, it’s mostly a complete waste of time. The app could be better if it can adapt to the learner’s level of at least give an option to skip through the easy stuff. It also seems to be catered towards children. That’s fine, but it would have been nice to know that before hand.

Unbelievably stupid
The stupidest app I’ve ever encountered. I only downloaded because I thought it was supposed to provide questions for an upcoming interview and was told I needed to download this app. No questions have been shown there is just a dumb way to get people to download an app that is useless and very, very dumb.
Really nice, needs polish
AI works great here. The courses are too simplistic, which is expected on mobile, but could be more in-depth. Needs “question feedback” function, because some answers it takes for correct are too shallow and sometimes wrong. It’s annoying when it asks you “Do you understand the correct answer now?” No, dear, you are wrong and I need a tool to report the issue. I tried requesting to file feedback it in the chat, but looks like the agent ignored it.

This app is amazing for learning new skills for your life in a world of challenges! Great across ages and backgrounds to meet challenges of understanding new concepts. Love it!

It’s new and that’s ok
Downloaded Cosmo immediately upon release. Not bad. Comparatively similar to the desktop. I don’t like that my paths aren’t synced between the two. My profile shows completed skills but I can’t choose to work on a path from the desktop and then take it on the go on my mobile. My other nitpick is only with the business model of energy for the dog. Almost feels like a user is forced into purchasing a plan for unlimited training because the limited energy guarantees you’ll be a long time learning before you can translate your skills to a job. Make a mistake and you can’t even finish the unit in a day. Don’t ask Cosmo a question because that costs energy too and now you have no energy to complete the module!
