iOS Touch Controls Issue - Grip/QTE mechanic not responding reliably
Hi Feral Interactive, I’m playing Tomb Raider on iOS and I’m experiencing a persistent issue with the grip/grab QTE mechanic during climbing sections. The problem occurs early in the game (Coastal Bluffs) when climbing the wrecked airplane. The on-screen prompt appears showing a finger icon with a “hold firmly to grab” instruction, but the input fails to register most of the time. I’m using touch controls (no controller), and my right hand is free to tap or hold the screen, but Lara keeps losing her grip and falling regardless. I’ve tried tapping, holding, pressing harder, and tapping different areas of the screen. It works occasionally, but it feels very inconsistent and unreliable. I also could not find an accessibility option to simplify QTEs as some reviewers have mentioned. Game version: latest from the App Store Screen protector: yes This seems to be a touch sensitivity issue specific to QTE prompts. Would appreciate a fix in a future update. Amazing port of the pc game
It’s full fat tr 2013 from pc minus tress fx I think. Which is fine but if this is something like an option in the port I missed it since I picked performance mode and forgot about settings. The interface is optimised for the screen it’s not like the resident evil ios ports that are essentially export to mobile ports the touch interface works great, yet to test keyboard and mouse but I have one pet peeve. Please let us use the phone’s gyro while using a telescopic controller just have it as an option for controllers too, just let it be off by default, great port by feral as expected otherwise

The game is perfectly optimised in my 14 pro and there is not a single time i got lag or anything like that even while playing with charger connected this game is a revolutionary one for mobile never seen a high graphics game with this good and smooth running.
