No audio once you pay
I can’t believe after the free trial I ponied up $30 for nostalgia’s sake only for the next level to have no audio. I go back to the one before and it has it, it’s just the additional levels I paid for. What a waste.
Nice port for an old game
Good game overall for mobile if your a fan of these one ps1 games. Controls aren’t bad can be a bit hard to aim and lock in on to certain things. It does feel a bit slow picking up items too but overall a good game
Abrupt end of tutorial, or a bug?
The controls tutorial ends abruptly when Lara exits the pool. No explanation, no dialog to suggest what to do next. Seems pretty much broken to me.

Played the first free level of Tomb Raider 1 but I couldn’t purchase the full game. Same case with 2 and 3. Shame, would have liked to continue with the story. Other than that, controls are good, graphics are classic ps1/2. Would give the game a higher rating if only I could unlock the full game 😬

What the hey?!
This game performed flawlessly 20 years ago on a Mac. The remastered version would be great if the controls actually did what they are supposed to. For example, the jump and grab on iPhone/iPad, and the ‘fire’ on the Mac.
Like Old Times
Played this on the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 in the late 90s. So many hours of fun! This version is very glitchy with the sound going in and out. The game also freezes a lot. Some of the moves like backflipping can't be done on the iPhone. The graphics are fantastic thus the glitchiness and lack of some movements can be overlooked. Thanks for bringing this classic to the mobile platform!
What a mess
It’s simple. This post has some massive f—king issues. iPhone 17 pro the game crashes all the time. The menu is a buggy nightmare. Sometimes I would open the menu and it would automatically select options for me like load game. I would start the app and the game throws me into the wrong game without asking and teleports me to some random spot near the end of a game that I haven’t even played yet. The controls especially on the first game are so sloppy that it’s unbearable and almost unplayable. This is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the problems I’ve had with this game in one day since its launch. Seriously the guys you developers should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. Oh yeah and no auto save at all. Shame on you all.

Amazing solid port
Great to see Lara back. The iOS edition of the game runs very well. And the touch controls work well for what it is. Recommend to use a controller for this kind of game. But the touch controls work well enough to get through the game as is. The ui looks good and everything runs smooth. Definitely support them if you have the time.
Terrible
So disappointed. My iphone17pro max After updating today, the game just gets stuck on the progress bar and won't launch at all
a remastered classic with caveats
there are issues with the sound on a state of the art ipad. TR3 is still buggy. The controls themselves require a conversions process of switching between “modern” and “tank” to progress at all in the game on some sections. it’s still very good and the bonus adventures are brilliant too. It does make you wish they’d made more games like this original trilogy.
LOVE the games, HATE the app
I’ve been able to beat TR 1 and 2 using the app. I’m on Tomb Raider 3 now and every single time I beat a chapter and have to select a new one the game will load me to the previous load right before beating the chapter. I have had to deal with literally every single time and managed to progress to the next chapter until now. I’m trying to start Antarctica and every single time I select it the opening movie starts then I get the Antarctica load screen only for the load screen to switch back to Pacific Islands in an endless loop. That’s not even the only bug I’ve encountered. I HATE THIS APP SO MUCH.
A must buy
I've been waiting for the old TR to be released on iOS and now I have it. This is a must own for any TR fan. The graphics are amazing and the challenges still feel fresh and rewarding (just like the actual games). They did a very great job porting these TR games. I'm never deleting this app 😏
Broken after the update
It was so good! But after the update it’s crashing to the point it won’t even start
Wall hang glitch
Everything looks and feels great! I had a lot of experience playing the previous ios version and this is a gigantic upgrade! The only thing is that there is an intermittent glitch with pulling up and wall hang that gets stuck with the remaster. If the developer fixes this promptly it will be 100%. The save state feature improves on the crystal save from the original. The texture changes are gorgeous and the change in operations from having to take a step back to hang drop is really interesting utility. It’s easier to pick up things. The camera pan is a lot more flexible and integration with xbox controller rumble pak is sweet! Great job, just please fix the hanging glitch going from hanging to climb gets stuck. 90% awesome
Controls are unresponsive and frustrating.
Jumping feels counterintuitive. Plus I got tired of shooting animals, the more modern games are more enjoyable for both of the above reasons, but if you're an old school fan, I can possibly see the appeal for the price.

When I first got the game, I was so happy it had good graphics and then I was playing the first story out of nowhere. It said if you have to buy the full game, it’s just a demo. What a waste of time.

These games are amazing ports on iOS. Even the touch controls are great I don’t even need a controller! I’m halfway through the 2nd game and honestly this is an app I probably won’t ever delete it’s too cool having these on iOS. Aspyr always does great ports! The KOTOR 1-2 and jade empire are just as great and highly recommend them for iOS.

I saw this advertised on tiktok and come to find out its not the full game you have to pay to play the all of the storys.
Mac OS and AppleTV Please!
Overall touch controls are better than the Tomb Raider 1&2 that was released before. But physical controller is still the way to play. Which brings me to AppleTV and Mac OS releases please.
Few bugs
With controller attached the run and crotch do not work on any mode besides in Laura’s house and a bunch of the different jumps besides the basic jump don’t work

I love these games
I love these games so much and I am stoked to see them on the iPad. I really like what they’ve done with the interface and how it’s got a more modern, touch-friendly sheen. Graphics and performance look fantastic. This would be a five-star but I’ve docked one point because I really would like Magic Keyboard support. I would’ve liked to only take away half a point because these remasters are amazing - but unfortunately App Store doesn’t do half stars. It’s not likely you would see a PC game without keyboard / mouse support and I think in this day and age iPad versions should have keyboard / mouse support as standard. I carry my iPad in a keyboard case and don’t want to carry a controller everywhere. The touch controls are ok (especially in Tank controls) but you can only do so much with those.
Not bad
Generally speaking it’s pretty good. There are a few small bugs and kinks, but nothing that’s made the game unplayable so far. Be wary of switching between touch controls and using a game controller. If you assign custom control to your gaming controller, it can mess up the touch screen controls.
