Great app
One problem with app is that i have to choose my clock whn i plug my ipad in
Bad
Everything is paid
All good but couple of things could make it better.
All seems ok though on the Pro option it mentions 13 clocks but I have only 10 clocks for the iOS version, should make it clear that 13 is for Macs if that is correct. Also Pro option still showing even after making the purchase to Pro. Just a couple of little things other than that all good.
Disappointing.
You only get 2 free ones and it doesn’t even apply to widgets.
Disappointed but great
The UI is simple , the wallpapers are great but entire library is for sale. The dev had did a great job in remixing and animating but should have at-least kept a single stack for free to use
Gorgeous
The most beautiful app I’ve come across in a minute.
Does not launch reliably.
The shortcuts setup does not work reliable and I constantly get errors with it. The app itself if nice, but no point in getting this if it’s not going to do its one job reliably. Also, the Mac version is a screensaver that does not actually show the time.
I like chocolate
I like chocolate
Fake stanby app
Not a true StandBy replacement. It’s just a clock that opens whenever the phone charges. The main issue is that it launches in vertical mode too, whereas the real StandBy only works when the phone is horizontal.
Clocks
This is such a great app, everything about it is top notch, apart from one issue. When you setup the automation within the shortcut app, every time you connect it to the charger it prompts you to select the clock, it shouldn’t be doing that when you already set the clock that you like within the shortcut app. Hence I’ve given it 3 starts. Happy to give it a 5 ⭐️ as soon as the issue has been fixed.
No Alarm Clock!
Beautiful layouts but NO ALARM CLOCK and too many fonts with a zero in the tome. GET RID OF THE ZERO!
Sick of app abandonment
Seriously, getting sick of app developers, creating a hype cycle, and then not touching their app again.
Stunning wallpapers, $4 one-time purchase is GREAT. Support is dead?
Did the support for this app just fall off and die? It’s been super nice to have a clean setup to replace standby and the backgrounds look great! I wish we had more control of the layouts (or more variety) and the ability to resize the info we see. The font size for weather, date, etc. is just a little too small. Still holding out hope for widgets and more support.
Meh
App needs to be updated, does not function properly with the shortcut. Waste of money
Locked IPhone
Can’t use with your phone locked so you’d have to have it unlocked and charging all night for it to actually have the cool background
Love it!
Suuuuper clean and way, way better than any default Mac wallpaper. Cannot recommend enough!
They said nice display clock but they are not ?
I saw it in social media and suddenly it attracted me anf i love it but all the sudden it showed me it required purchase one time purchase i bought it but i am not able to keep it in lock screen it is bu***it. They developed it good but its like little trick to make people fool
Feature
I love this app but the only thing keeping me away from paying for it is that I can’t put my own animations. If I was able to import my own video I would legit pay
Cool but Buggy
(Paid Version) dowloaded the zip, installed screensavers and the image is simply black. Won’t load properly. M4 MacBook Pro on latest OS
Beautiful. If Shortcut Works.
Love the app and design but unfortunately it only works less than half of the time. I get a lot of notifications that the shortcut I made failed to run. I checked to make sure it’s setup correctly and it is. I don’t know what causes it to fail but I’m starting to wonder if it fails whenever my phone is locked vs unlocked. So maybe I can put it on the charger while the display is on and the phone is unlocked, but if the display is off and the phone is locked maybe it doesn’t work?
Amazing!
I love cool little apps like this and especially when there’s no subscription fee! You rock!
WHAT IS IT FOR???
I don’t understand it all!!
when will standby or widgets be added?
that would be great
You were so close
I would have happily paid for upgrade except fonts are way too small. The whole point of an information display is to see things at a glance. Not pick up the phone and use reading glasses to see date or temp.
Pretty design, needs some work
This offers some really elegant clock faces. While the fact that Mac screensavers do not show time (main reason for buying pro) should have been stated before purchasing Pro, the app is a little clunky in its execution and day-to-day use, compared to something like FlipClock, but this is sure to catch up - like the fact that widgets are on the way - a great addition!
Excellent
Easily one of the most beautiful and well made apps I’ve ever used. Ignore any of the reviews claiming you need pro to use it or that the shortcuts don’t work. Also this is so reasonably priced I cannot imagine complaining about an ad free, no data collected, one time purchase.
Every background is a paid feature
Every option for a background is a pro feature. I ain’t buying it until I can test it.
Great App But Please make it free
.
Pretty but not all that practical on iOS
The animations are great but it doesn’t really make sense to use since it forces you to unlock your phone to run the automation. If Face ID fails then you get error notifications every time it tries to run. So it’s not as seamless as standby. There’s also a delay in opening where standby shows initially before running the automation. And since it’s opening an app it means your phone is fully unlocked and open while running which I’m assuming will cause issues with it getting hot. There’s also no way to explicitly run it only on MagSafe charging like standby so anytime you’re charging it’ll open (and unlock your phone). I added screen orientation checks to prevent this but it’s still not ideal. Overall it feels like one of those apps that only make sense to use for thumbnails on IG but not for real use.
Beautiful app
Beautiful and elegant! But Mac screen saver can’t adjust size to fit ultra wide screen. Can you consider to add this function? Exciting to see the widget and future updates!
Save your money!
App looks nice but the shortcut to launch when charging doesn’t work. The setup guide has outdated screen shots and support is nonexistent. Also the clocks are not system aware so at night, you get a bright clock face even though you are in dark mode. Trash
Help
I’ve paid for the app, but it’s behaving as if I’m still using the free version. I don’t see the additional clocks or any other premium features. Thanks for the help.
😭😭😭
Faut payer 😭 j’étais pas prêt
Widgets?
Are the widgets still on the way?
🕐
Stunning, Gorgeous, Minimal, Love it❤️
Shortcut refuses to work
Have tried to set up the auto start shortcut multiple times, following instructions perfectly, to no avail. Even bought PRO and still only have the standard clocks. App is frustrating at the least.
Can’t Wait for Widgets
Clocks is a slick little app. I’m giving it 4/5 stars right now because of the lack of widgets, but once that hits this app is instantly taking up beautiful space on my homepage. Great design. Well thought out. Helpful info. 🤘
Pas content
JE NE PEUX PAS REGARDER L’HEURE SANS QU’IL Y AIT UNE PUB !!
Has issues
Paid for the full version. Weather is stuck on one location despite giving location permissions. Shortcuts are clunky when connecting to charger. Needs work.
Beautiful design
You can tell a lot of love and attention went into this. Beautiful in its simplicity.
Nothing seems to work properly.
I got the app and bought the power pack after reading a glowing review in the tech press. But I don't get the hype. Yes after a bunch of fiddling around, you can get it to run by means of a shortcut but then it sits there all day and night glowing brightly, which is some of you really don't want during bedtime. I do notice that at his website the developer says it's not meant to be used at night and you should use standby at night but do you really wanna fiddle with those settings every day? Don't get me started on the mac screensavers. I have no idea how those are supposed to work. All I get is a pixelated image with no time or anything else. Maybe it's just me, but the user experience was awful. I ended up asking for a refund, which is something I rarely do.
Great app but need dynamic macOS screensavers too.
First of all, amazing app Daniel! Love the aesthetic but it needs multiple display support for macOS and maybe dynamic screensavers too which show all the details just like the standby mode in iOS.
Too Bright
The clocks are nice but there needs to be a way to darken the screen - the clocks are all too bright to be used at night next to your bed. Until this is fixed, the clocks are pretty, but useless.
It’s good BUT…
I purchased the full version. The first main issue is the phone has to unlocked to start the app and that makes it difficult to use if I keep my phone for charging and unlocked. The second I have remember all the time to select which clock I want to see. That’s silly . You have to allow user to set a clock as default in the app and whenever user have to change let them go to app and change. The third thing is the night mode which the app should dim the brightness and also change the color to red else it’s useless to use in the night as a table clock. I hope my review points are taken in right sense. Thanks . Will keep waiting for the update
Beautifully designed clocks
Love that i’m able to showcase time/weather with a gorgeous design while my phone is on standby. Highly recommend you download this app!
Does Not Work
Even when you have to set up the shortcut for Clocks to run their custom display when charging, after it comes up after put on charger, a pop up ad comes up after a few seconds to get you to buy Pro. When you “X” out of it it just takes you back to menu screen. Then you can click what clock display you like. Then the ad comes up again. An infinite loop of never being able to actually leave their clock displays up (unless I suppose you buy the Pro service)
Really clean clocks
This app really is for those who like to customize every small part of their experience. The designs to choose from are super nice and aesthetic. Unlocking everything the app has to offer with a 1 time $4 purchase is really nice to see these days, too. Some suggestions would be I wish there was a dark mode for the app, and I do wish you could change the speed of the backgrounds. I’m not sure if they’re just videos so that isn’t really possible to do while maintaining a smooth animation, but that’d be nice. Overall, I’d give it a 4.5 out of 5.
Amazing, yet unusable
I downloaded the app and immediately fell in love with it!! I bought the one time purchase package without any second thought just to find out it doesn’t work. I tried the apple shortcuts workaround which was suggested on “X” as well as in the app itself, nothing. The app doesn’t open a clock when charging, it just directly goes into the generic apple standby mode. But overall, love it. Please fix it or suggest me a fix.
