Schlechte erkennbarkeit
Aufgrund des Designs können die iPhones kaum die QR Codes erkennen. Nicht zu empfehlen.
Almost perfect!
No problem. No ads. No tracking. It’s just that this one time the app kept crashing for no reason. Like this was a sort of important QR code i really wished i had but i guess maybe the text was too long so the app just crashed multiple times in a row. Other than that, Literally perfect. I just don’t think I can wish for anything more.
Cannot scan
Generated QR codes look nice but their design cannot be scanned.
Overall good app, but misses a bunch of features.
Qewie has one of the best UIs i’ve seen so far, and allows to generate QR Codes that are not boring. But, compared to other QR generators (devs, check QRbot and take inspiration), this application misses a lot of fundamental features (like correction levels and color customization of the single elements). Still, this application has QR stats, redirection and templates, which are features that some other apps lack. Overall, Qewie has a lot of potential to become even better.
Great app!
Not only does this app have a great design and layout, it is a joy to use. Saw this on “Hidden Gems of the App Store” and decided to download. There is a payed option, but it’s not too intrusive. There is just enough locked behind it to make me consider paying for it, but not too much to the point that it removes in any way the necessary features of the app.
$50 QR code generator
I think the price is absurd.
Nice app. But dark mode and dark icon are missing
Nice app. It’s beautiful interface, easy to use… nice job! The only thing that I didn’t like is this icon. It’s a little generic for a beautiful interface. If you can update it… In fact, not just this. I’d like to request dark mode and a dark icon. Plus, if we can add our QR codes to Wallet, it would be cool.
Looks Good. Overpriced.
I downloaded this app after reading about it on 9To5Mac. It looks pretty but it has a subscription or a very high price (for what it does). There are plenty of free tools to get the job done and most people don’t care what color their QR codes are (although the free tools have this option). The price is an insult to customer intelligence. On top of that the “free” version is useless. QR codes can’t be saved. So it’s basically an ad.
QEWIE IS AMAZE!
I’m in college and this app is the best tool for my club and Greek life! What a great app.
Big promise, big letdown
A classic case of a promise to make beautiful QR codes easily, marred by poor design execution. The interface is counterintuitive—options for pixels and eyes scroll horizontally despite the vertical orientation, wasting available space. Worse yet, scrolling down through customization features pushes the QR preview out of view, forcing you to repeatedly go back and forth. These design flaws turns what should be a simple process into a frustrating task. The developer’s promise of a free tool in their post on 𝕏 also falls flat, with at least two features already locked behind a subscription, leaving a sour taste. In sum: not so nice, not so easy, and not so free.
fun ≠ value
Interesting app with stellar ui but.. the app is extremely limited without the pro version which is £20 lifetime, while for a business or creator that is good value. A general consumer having features like wifi, location and contact cards paywalled does not justify the expense, an app like this for my personal I would maybe spent a few pounds on for lifetime. Locking a custom logo or a link shorter service behind a paywall would make a lot of sense but not basic local qr code features. Hope to see this change.
Best QR generator
I’ve looked through every QR generator on the App Store and online, this is by far the best. I use these every week for my small business. Thank you!
A sad end to something promising.
Followed the development on the socials. Sad to see the developer went for the subscription money grab. Such a waste.
Subscription based pricing
£3.99 a month to make QR codes for anything other than a website is wild. Lifetime price being £39.99 is also disappointing.
It’s so beautiful!
It’s simple, elegant, and straight to the point. Love this app!
Free no more!
This was brilliant and I had from day one but now it’s got a pay wall. It’s a real shame when developers do this. Be honest up front and offer some options and a subscription or how ever but giving it all free then as it gains momentum and it gets publicity through tech sites you then bang on a paywall. Shame and another money grab. I would’ve paid no problem if you were honest upfront. Paying £3.99 monthly for WiFi etc QR codes is greedy. The prices listed in your IAP description are different than the app version. There is no £1.99 monthly or lifetime £19.99. It’s double the amount in your app? Please correct.
Great
Excellent app. Would be great if we had the option to choose the format to export the QR code in.

Best I’ve found.
This is the best I’ve ever seen. Simple. Easy. Stylish. Only if it had Shortcut or share sheet support so I could easily share links in person without having to give out a phone number etc… but then I’d have to figure out how to give it a sixth star.
Just what I was looking for!!!
I haven't stopped raving about this app to anyone who will listen!! In today’s world where I’m constantly being asked to scan a QR code or I’m getting one for my own events, I always wrote them off as something ugly but necessary but Qewie has stepped in and saved the day! So easy to use and 10/10 for the graphics and aesthetic. This is a must download!
Wow! These are the quality of Apps we need more off
Saw the developer post about it on social media X. This app is must have given that it’s free! The UI and visuals are stunning!
Simple and Elegant
QR code generators have no right to be this good, easy, simple, and fast. It’s a revelation of an app in an ocean of bad QR code generators! The only thing that’d make it better would be for an option to tip the developer.
