What people like
- Free to use army lists
- Works well on phone and PC
- Updates keep game data current
- Prints clear army lists
What they complain about
- Cookies settings reset often
- You can lose all lists
- Not easy for new users
- Missing some unit stats
Thanks!
I just wanted to say thank you for the hard work you guys put into building this app for the community. Cheers!
Bad
The app is fine until it decides you’re not allowed to remove anything from your army list and then you have to just delete your army list and remake it because there is no removed from army list option
Spam
Fallt nicht auf die Spam Werbung rein aber sonst gute App
Was alright
Until I lost every single list I had from multiple game modes. Well done.
Alright
I figure out how to make an army list. Not new user friendly
Fantastic army list app
The best, imho, army list builder currently available. Easily switching between the systems and regularly updated. Prints out easy to read lists as well 👍
Doesn’t work
Had this on my iPhone for over a month and it’s never worked
Missing some bits
Really like the layout but seems to be missing some leagues of votann stats. Stuff like mauls and power fists for berserkers
MinimalAdvanteges
Using the app instead of the browser comes with little to no advantages. Okay, it maybe a bit more stable but therefore the scaling is not always working and you need to manage cookies. Cookie Settings need to be reentered quiet often and while we add it: why is there no ‚deselect all‘? Need to do this manually inne by one each time 👎🏻
List builder
After a certain other list builder ceased support this has proved not only a great alternative but to be a vastly superior option. Best of all it’s free!
Terrible data preferences ui
It doesn’t matter how good the app is for the intended use, if I can’t disable all vendors and cookies with a single button that is instantly visible when i am asked to make the choice then i have no other choice but to give 0 stars.
Really fantastic
Love this website and so glad it’s now an app, fantastic features that allow me to build a detailed army list, fantastic overall definitely would recommend
Exactly useful
Like, we know it's available on pc and IOS too! Same or even better control on phone as on pc! Definitely recommend to have it!
Great free warhammer tool!
So handy! Very comprehensive
Super fast tool for tabletop gaming
This app along with its web base counterpart work seamlessly together for a great cross platform experience
I recommend
Simple and up to date, I highly recommend
Best alternative to the 40K app for list building
New recruit is a feature rich, comprehensive list building tool for tabletop wargames, whether you’re playing 40k, trench crusade or bolt action. It takes a bit of poking about to get your bearings, but it quickly becomes clear how to put together an army/battleforce/whatever list, ready for game night. Even better there’s a play mode that will give you each units info at a glance baked in. But the best thing is that it doesn’t cost £5 a month just to create army lists, it’s not as pretty as the 40K app but it’s arguably better by virtue of not being paywalled.
The best Old World list builder
This is the number one. Thanks to the developer for all their work.
