Remove GPS requirement for MRTS
Why does MRTS require gps location close to station for booking but metro doesn’t need ? Most of the time it doesn’t work. It’s such a painful feature , please remove it.

Overall, the user experience and functionality are good when booking bus and metro tickets. However, when it comes to train bookings, the process takes too long to load, and the booking itself takes a lot of time. By the time the loading is completed, I may have already reached the station. At that point, the app does not allow me to book the ticket because it detects that I am too close to the platform/station. This is a major issue with the Chennai app. If this problem can be resolved, I believe the application would be almost perfect.

Huge time difference
I usually travel by 105/105A but never the bus comes on time and the difference is usually 45-50mins
Ticket for future reference
Ticket vanishes from this app after an hour. I lost a bag in city bus, while reporting the incident to mtc, they enquired on ticket details bus no etc. app did not help there.
Need bus timings time table
Will be good to have the bus time table to better plan trips
Travelling location
Better if the user knows the starting and the destiny route and his/her current location….like a map…

Feature request
It would be really useful to have a filter feature, filtering buses that are added to the map. Filter by start->end points decluttering other buses. Filter by ac/premium/deluxe and standard buses. Kindly bring this since it would add much to the user experience

Scam by chennai one
I have boarded a 95X to get from sholinganallur to santhosapuram.But accidentally i have boarded the bus coming from kilambakkam to thiruvanmiyur instead of boarding thiruvanmiyur to kilambakkam.I also booked the tidket after entering the bus code in chennai one.In the list of destination stops it has showed me santhosapuram which has already been passed by the bus and it also allowed me to book the ticket for santhosapuram.After sometime only i realised that i boarded in the wrong side so i had to get down in the middle to avoid the situation of paying fine.If the bus stop has already passed the their so called app should not have shown the stop. Due to this i have lost 57 rupees which i paid for the bus ticket and also loat around 500 rupees by taking an auto from there.Totally a worst app and i didn’t expect this from chennai one.Clearly shows these guyss are taking advantage of online and doing such awful things.

Pre booking premium bus issue
Premium busses booking always it shows the bus gonna starts from koyambedu if I am at velachery I could see bus coming near velachery may be it wil 2 bus stop before the velachery I can’t book that bus even I choosing that bus from live track it show book ticket for the bus while booking it shows the slots which starts from Cmbt only it will coming after another half and hour I understand it’s earcly booking but regular based on the time we need on time bus booking as well
Live tracking
Live tracking works good! It helps to locate the bus current position just by moving the circle to desired location.
Worst app experience
App has no option to cancel the booked tickets. If a premium bus slot is cancelled, that is also not updated. Bus tracking is not updated properly. Overall experience is worst.
Train Tickets
Extremely tedious when you getting the tickets for train as if you are even 15 m away, you can’t book the ticket

Please Allow Email Login – Not Everyone Has an Indian Phone Number
I recently tried using the Chennai One app and noticed that it mandates login using only an Indian phone number. This is quite inconvenient for foreigners and NRIs who may not have an active Indian mobile number. How are they supposed to access the services? In today’s time, with increasing privacy concerns and AI-based spam calls/messages, many users are not comfortable sharing their phone numbers unnecessarily. The app should definitely provide an option to sign up or log in using an email address instead of making phone number mandatory. Chennai One is meant to be a public-facing app, and it should be inclusive and accessible to everyone, including NRIs and international users. Request the developers to kindly consider adding email-based authentication for better flexibility and privacy.
Need live activity
Well built app, makes travel seem less. Need live activity so we don’t need to open the app to see where we are in the journey. Thanks for the app

Log in issue
Can not login to the app if i don’t have indian number. This need to be reviewed and international tourist need to get access to login via their international number
