Fantastic Bible/Devotional App
This App has literally been an absolute answer to my prayer. I was sitting in church before the service started searching for a devotional app — I said a prayer and this app appeared, it covers everything you would want in a Bible/Devotional app and more. This App is well worth the price and it allows my wife and I to have daily devotions.
Sermon Scribe
Couldn’t get some features to work. Unable to copy or paste on iPad or iPhone. So, unable to share for Bible study. Couldn’t get it to work on windows 11. Couldn’t find anywhere to go for support and as soon as ask internal ai for help the ai would say unable to assist in a web based format. Too bad as it had some great features.
Sermon Scribe is great
I am truly enjoying this app…..i would like to be able to download other Bible translations in the app that would be a useful addition.
Great! But…
I love this app. It does what it says it does. But when I receive text or email and navigate off the app and return back to it. The recording tries to reconnect but can’t. I end up having to stop the recording and do another recording. Please help with this issue. Update Now it’s lagging cant transcribe message. Update Now it’s dropping recording and try to reconnect Now it’s freezing.. Are developers keeping up with the latest updates.
Could be better
I love this app its super useful in many ways but I realized that in order to creat a sermon it’s only takes audio, which I use this feature anyways but because I have a baby i cant always talk due to her sleeping and taking naps, keep in mind I live in a apartment so my voice bounces of the walls. I would love if they would have a feature to type my sermons out as well. Also once you use transcribe and misspoke or used the live transcription you cannot edit the words after.
Love this App
Totally helps me go deeper with my Sunday Sermons. Still taking in all of the features it offersgives me a wealth of informtion to take to my lifegroup

Next
Amazing with room to improve
This app is fantastic. Transcribes very accurately. I love the devotional feature. It takes the stress off of focusing more on note-taking than actually listening to a sermon. The app is clearly made for sermons not just speeches in general. The AI identifies key concepts, breaks up a sermon into sections, and offers different types of layout (full summary, study guide, discussion guide, and a practical application guide). This is quite an arsenal. In Live mode you can add footnotes that are time-stamped. And it has a whole built-in Bible to refer to so that you don’t have to leave the app. SUGGESTIONS: 1. More Bible versions. Only has ESV, KJV (not NKJV), and ASV. While the church I go to uses the ESV it would be nice to at least have NIV and/or NRSV. Everyone has their preferences but more variety would be great! 2. An alert if recording stops on its own. Critical alerts will stop the recording. I suggest using a Focus mode that nothing can bypass when you are recording to avoid this. 3. Ability to correct mistakes. While speech to text is great it isn’t perfect, and as the user I need to be able to edit something that was incorrectly transcribed preferably in Live mode. Most of the time these mistakes are corrected during actual processing but not always. 4. Automatically delete “umms” and “uhhs” and bridge the gap between long pauses. Not sure how many of these are viable but for $5/mo it’s great.
Record Reflect Remember Key
That’s what’s key for me being able to record whether it be a sermon, notes, journaling, my thoughts after meditation or studying. But having a space for it all… 3/8/26: paid trial price- testing a few apps to find the ONE Downloaded the app Monday worked superb. Friday morning it didn’t mark my daily streak no problem not concerned much about that. Friday night after a few hours in worship & prayer, yes a few hours, I’m a worshipper. I went to the Word, then I went to put in a journal entry…. 3/13/26: The app froze - then nothing. It was illumination and it froze. Thankfully my God said take a picture. 3/14/26: Saw there was an Update Ok I do enjoy this app, installed the Update. 11 Sermons Just Gone. 2 stars as a Minister in Training I think I need my sermons. But I do enjoy the other features. Don’t think I will renew 4/9/26 Will probably stick with Goodnotes, my MDiv notes are there but will pray on it and see where he leads.
Not as good as it used to be to be
The app use to be brilliant, but since the upgrade, it keeps hanging and things don’t work, eg can’t add a preacher’s name or change the title of a sermon. Using the app is now highly frustrating.
Print option
The Bible Study and Journal sections of the app do not have the option to share/print. Nor can you copy to paste. That would be a good update for those wanting to print.
Connection issues
Not great, unstable
Love this app - could have a couple improvements
Overall this app is amazing. I love the ability to create a devotional off of the messages. One thing that would be nice would be able to select the devotional length based on message and not overall in the system. For example, I would like a 7 day devotional on a Sunday sermon, but a 3 day devotional on a Wednesday sermon. I feel one huge miss on the app is not being family share compatible. My wife and daughter would love to use this app as well, but we certainly are not going to pay triple as a family.
Would not open
Couldn’t open the app after downloading
Can not highlight while recording
App does an amazing job at transcribing sermons during live worship events. However, you cannot highlight verses or add notes to margin that are accessible once you stop recording and saves the outlines, and other resources.
Love this app
Best Bible note taking app EVER!!
Not easy to navigate
Can’t record a sermon off of YouTube. Says links are invalid and won’t let me 😭 kinda useless unless physically recording in persona sadly
Really good app
I’ve just tried this with one sermon so far and the weekly review and reflection in the app is a game changer. I love the review, sermon highlights and quotes. They make it easy to create notes in my bible. I have found that the live transcription needs a little more work and I really wish I could upload an arrive from a Facebook live video (reason for 4 stars). However, when working from a recording, the app really shines, creating a beautiful transcription, outline, and summary. After that the devotions for the week really keep me in His word and help me understand and really reflect on what has been taught. Hey—any chance of a referral program? I’d love to share and get a month or three free for referring my friends and church !! All in all, it’s a good app!!
Add Monthly Subscription Option
I am writing to express my appreciation for the work you have done on this application. I am very interested in exploring its full capabilities and testing the advanced features. Please consider adding a MONTHLY subscription option because for me one week is not enough to explore the full capability and function of this apps. Thank you for your hard work and for considering this feedback. Best regards, 🙏🙏🙏
Best one on the store
The price is right and the feature set is huge. Competitor apps have silly pricing structures and lack a lot of the features. Glad I found this one.
It does not work for me
I have tries over 5 times and this app doesn't work for me as it is promoted. I have asked for a refund and I have been denied 3 times.
Love it but…
I love it but I wish I could use it without WiFi or cell service. I bring my iPad to take notes and don’t want my phone out at church I would love it if the app could at lest record and I can upload it later.
Love it, but 1 issue and 1 suggestion
I love everything this app has to offer, but one issue I had with it is that I recorded a sermon playing on another device to have it transcribed, and it showed something entirely different. It kinda sounded like my bible notes turned into a sermon, not even close to what I played. I’m wanting to try it again with a different sermon I missed once my church uploads it. I actually would like that to remain a feature (one that scans your notes and turns it into a sermon, connecting related passages and our reflections, maybe also offering to refine our insights for more accurate understanding of The Word.
Near Excellent
I’m amazed at how well this app works. I have tried it both at church and other Christian talks and it is just amazing. The only thing that would make it perfect would be able to use my iPencil for underlining or drawing circles around certain words. Great program, can’t wait to give it 5 stars! Eric
I Wish
Nice app. I wish I could afford it but I’m an old lady on a fixed income, so…🤷🏻♀️
Growing in the Word
I’ve been using this app for two weeks and it’s definitely a game changer. I struggle with taking notes during service and this has helped me to focus during service, knowing I’ll get all the information after. The devotionals which have been great. The reflection question are really helpful. I’ve liked this app so much I’ve told others about it. Two things that would make it better for me. 1. Being able to add pictures 2. Putting a sermon series into like a folder under that series themes title. I hope that makes sense. That’s why I gave 4 stars as you have areas for growth.
Only 2 translations ESV and KJV
Needs more Bible translation like HCSB (not CSB), NKJV, NASB 95 or even the NLT
Immerse yourself in the sermon
Sit back or lean forward in your pew seat and enjoy the sermon without scrambling to jot down everything the minister says. I can finally be caught up in the moment. I also won’t forget the key elements of the sermon or forget all together what was said the very next day. I really like the quotes. Those are easy “truth bombs” that can really wreak havoc to the enemy’s plans for someone.
Currently not very good
Great idea, but currently not accurate
Love it but..
I love it but wish the bike version included NIV
Review
Just opened the app. Too early to review
Wow!
I’ve tried other Bible Note Taker apps. Sermon Scribe is by far the best! It’s loaded with extras. Doesn’t get any better than this.
Why do we have to pay to get help
We should get a better understanding of the Bible for free
Great tool for sermons, but needs export options
I really love how Sermon Scribe lets you record sermons and automatically creates a summary, outline, reflection, and application. It’s such a helpful way to process and revisit what was shared. The Bible study section is my favorite part — it gives great context, keyword insights, and interpretations that help you dig deeper into Scripture. That said, I’ve had a few times where I thought it was recording and it wasn’t, which was really disappointing. The biggest downside though is that you can’t export anything other than the audio. You can’t share or save the outlines, notes, or reflections outside the app, which makes it hard to integrate into personal study or share with others. It’s like having a meeting app that takes amazing notes — but won’t let you send them anywhere. If they add reliable recording and export options, this would easily be a 5-star app.
Sermon Scribe: Bible Notetaker
Absolutely the best Bible App I have ever used. No need to make an extra purchase or to go to multiple places within the app. Everything you need to study the Bible is right here in the app. Greek word study, Hebrew word study, chapter analysis, verse analysis, SOAP Method. It's all there in one place. Download today!
Disappointed
I love the thought of this app but I can’t afford $10 a month so I can’t use it. I’m sure it’s a great app but just put a price to download instead of getting my hopes up.
Keep going
Keep trying
Too expensive!
It is just too expensive!
