Amazing Details
Always on Point to every attention to Detail
Didn’t work
Couldn’t get past the sign in/create account page, just froze. Support never got back to me during my free trial stage so I guess that’s the end of that
Fun Health app with some wonky issues
1. the support email button is non-functional within the app, hence this very public and honest review. 2. the app randomly messages me in Korean, even though my native language is English and I have the language set to English 3. I will have something like a chicken breast salad and a slice of grain bread and AI will say “next time, try adding a side of mixed greens for even more nutrition!” 4. One of the AI personalities always says “low-key” and “not bad at all”. Not every meal is low-key impressive. Some meals are super impressive. 5. The AI pushes a lot of avocado. Every other meal “try adding some avocado for healthy fats and extra satiety.” *I don’t want to spend money on avocado.* I can get healthy fats in other ways. Other than those issues( this app is amazing. I do have fun with the AI but it does feel like a doll you pull the string and it says some lines (like from the 1960’s). But I would hate for the feature to be discontinued.
I love this app
They are very helpful with helping you get to your dream weight
Mal
Love/Hate relationship
Love the app and all the tracking and information it provides. Just can’t stand how it engages with the Dynamic Island on the iPhone. Every time I need to check my mail or business info, Mealo pops up and I can’t stand it! Sure you can turn off the Live Activities but I like the daily updates of where I’m at with calories each day. Just wish they could remove it from the Dynamic Island.
Inaccurate and not flexible
It’s an intuitive and easy way to keep track of what you eat, but it’s just a GPT wrapper. Everything is estimated through gpt so there are hallucinations on calories and portions with no way to add context. Also when you upload photos it assumes you ate it the day you upload. Didn’t find a way to edit the date
New user
I’m comparing this app to others I use
Different calorie consumption
Setup is very easy, I just want to know why I receive different daily calorie consumption between installing my information on my Android vs iPhone, otherwise I look forward to utilizing the app, with that being said, I will be back after utilizing the app for an update.
Glitch
I recently paid for the yearly subscription and I can’t long into my account. The server treats me as a new user, and in order to move forward it would tell me to pay again.
Good
Great app
Doesn’t allow to take photos
I don’t know if it’s a glitch but i downloaded it because it’s cool and useful but it never let me upload any food photos to my account so i deleted it for now til a better bug fixes are made
I love this app so far
It’s so helpful
Amazing meal tracker
Its pretty nice I like how we can log our meals and track our workouts in the same app. Its amazing how the ai Is able to track the macros from just the picture of our foods.
Review
So far so good 👌🏾
App is not responding very well
Extremely disappointed. I paid for the yearly subscription expecting a smooth experience, but the app barely responds half the time. Constant freezing, slow loading, and features that don’t work as advertised. I reached out for support but got no real solution. Definitely not worth the money — I regret subscribing for the whole year.”
Good for tracking
Good for tracking calories but if there is manual option to enter the workouts if we dont have device to measure that then thats great
Scan
It really finds all the small ingredients
Helping me
I try to eat everyday this is helping me want to eat more and keep track of it

New to app
So far so good it’s only 12.99 a month to use it it gives u workouts and everything better then the other ones I had!
Accuracy
Easy to use app
Easy to use!
It’s so cool to use, and I love that it gives me suggestions and keep me on track.
Weight loss
I am absolutely loving this app. It has to help me tremendously. I can track my calories. How much that I take.
AMAZING
i love this app already. I am using this since 3 days and i can say this is one of the best application with trending features in it. But this Mealo is by far the best i have used. I strongly recommend this to everyone who care about their diet. One of my favorite features is how smooth the meal tracking is. Instead of feeling like a chore, the app gives smart suggestions and reminders that help me stay on track without being overwhelming. The coaching messages feel encouraging and surprisingly personal, not robotic. I also appreciate how clean and intuitive the interface is - everything is easy to find, quick to update, and visually motivating. If you're looking for a fitness coach that fits in your pocket and actually adapts to your lifestyle, this is definitely worth downloading. Highly recommended! Go to the gym and start your weight gain or weight loss journey with the help of mealo.
Great App
Great way to track my exercises. I love that I can pick and change the workout and the weight. I can also add an additional set. I know which body part that I’m working on. I can also save the workout for a quick start if I want to do that one again. The photo my food is awesome as well. I can change the amount if I’m doing a protein from Herbalife or any other protein powder.
