Seeing is believing
Two week free trial and I bought it for the year. Shows you exactly what is out of range in your swing. Paired it with a monopod for a steady shot. If you have trouble picturing what a pro tells you in a lesson, this is the fix. Auto records every shot, shows you what needs attention. The video lessons that are suggested based on swing flaws are often identical to what my pro says. I’m not replacing one on one lessons but rather supplementing them. Go sell a driver or putter and buy this.

Helped diagnose my swing
This app gives great feedback that you can use to fix your swing. The one feature I wish it had is the ability to pause the app between swings. Once it gives feedback, I’d like to pause it to think about what it said and take a couple of practice swings then unpause it and try again. It would be especially useful on the range. For me, the constant feedback becomes too much and I end up ignoring it. I’d like to able to tell the app (vocally) to pause and unpause.
Clever but not useful
Good product but as a golf coach it's not useful. Lots of analysis but hard to then interact with recommendations, lack of consistency and no input of ball direction or divots
New Customer
I love this app! I love the immediate feedback and then I can sit and review after I am done.
Subscription without obvious consent
Only download this app if u want to subscribe. U might be fooled into a subscription.
Best in class but desperately needs audio hit detection (so it won’t catch practice swings)
This app is probably currently best in class with the features it offers, but it’s a big problem that this app is behind the market on audio-based impact detection. Other apps out there will listen for the impact sound, so that they know not to capture practice swings. The absence of that feature is a major handicap, because you have to just step up and whack it or the app will capture and attempt to analyze whatever preparatory motions you make.
Dissapointmemt but has potential
Expected more from the app. It is very focused on single faults. Giving lots of weight to things not that important. It also does not look at club head angle. Hard to switch between modes and get a full overview. Gets the angles incorrect quite often. Go see a coach instead.

The camera points away from me! Cannot reverse it. No camera toggle switch. Zero help in instructions

Amazing app and easy to use. If you have errors in your game and aren't sure what they are, this is a great tool for discovering what it is! They make it easy to go right from visual feedback to coaching so you can quickly drop the bad habits and start working with the good 🔥
Video upload not working?
I’m unable to upload existing swing videos to the app, the button on the bottom right of the practice page doesn’t do anything. Is this a bug?
Best swing help app ever
I’m a scratch golfer but the swing still gets out of whack. I was amazed at how helpful this app is.
No export across devices
If you get a new phone or tablet, you can’t export/import your videos. They’re just gone. For $120 a year in the 2026 software development world, that’s just wild
More features please
Great app, it would be great to have something implemented for the short game as well.
Difficult to get the angle behind correct
I struggle to get the right angle for this app…. Granted I’m around a 1 handicap so I’m looking good precise data but it just seems a little finicky at times to get the camera set up correct for precise data.
Feel vs Real
This app has been amazing at aligning my feel to what is real.

Love this app. Wish it would capture club face open/closed at impact… but the speed of the head might be too much for an iPhone camera.

Great App
I tend to revert to bad habits from years of bad mechanics, Swing Coach is the ultimate way to check your swing and get instant feedback back; audio and video! Best ! Ps. Eric is a great Coach too!
Pretty helpful AI swing analyzer
The face-on analysis is immature. The Coach bases “your biggest problem seems to be …” on 1 swing. Then if you make a different major error in the next swing, the advice will change. I’d like to be able to get a Coach explanation of any Red error.
Really great tool
I have taken a lot of golf lessons, but the problem is is that once you leave the lesson you start forgetting and start making mistakes that become bigger mistakes and then start compensating for those. What I use this for is a tuneup every time I play to get me feeling the right feelings every time. To me that’s what’s missing in golf lessons is that they’re not always available. This has taken my handicap from a five to a two in relatively short order. I suggest this for everyone. Especially pretty good golfers like 15 handicap and below.

This app is amazing especially now it does both Down the line & Face on. I just wish they would allow me to share my subscription with my wife.
Get Better
The swing coach has helped me focus on the real problems in my swing. On numerous occasions swing coach has completely changed what I thought I needed to alter. Specifically, I thought I needed more tilt away from the ball at impact. Swing showed me clearly that I was already tilted too far. It kept me from making a bad problem worse. This greatly improved my striking with irons which has always been my weakness. Swing coach is my go to improvement tool.

Would love to be able to import high-res swing video from other tools for analysis or vice-versa
Helpful app! Possible to add features?
This app is top-notch. I’ve used it several times now, and it has been extremely helpful. Five stars from me. I did think of a couple of features that might make it even better: 1. Decouple swing analysis/voice feedback from video recording. I’d love an option to keep getting the live audible feedback (“hands out to hips,” “nice swing,” etc.) without automatically recording and saving every swing. Ideally, there could be a voice command or setting like “comments only—don’t record,” followed by “start recording” when I actually want to capture swings. That would be especially useful during longer range sessions when I want feedback on every swing but only need to save selected swings. 2. Incorporate ball flight into the analysis, if possible. It would be great if the app could capture or recognize at least the initial ball flight and factor that into its feedback. I’ve shanked a few balls pretty badly and still heard “Nice swing!” 😂 Obviously, a swing can look mechanically good and still produce a bad result, but incorporating what the ball actually did could potentially make the feedback even more useful and accurate. Those are suggestions, not complaints. This app is already super helpful. Regular golf lessons can get expensive, so having something this affordable that can provide immediate feedback and reinforce what I’m working on is a fantastic resource. Highly recommend it.
Lacks really useful corrective coaching videos
Certainly a powerful practice assistant. While the 5 star review are plentiful, there’s still refinement required to make this app universally beneficial. Obvious frustrations occur such as the App confirming you’re not in position when you’re putting the ball on the tee. Personally, I couldn’t move the main issues highlighted (Hands Low at top, Spine forward half way down and Lead knee forward at impact). The included coaching videos essentially said feel the opposite, which I unfortunately couldn’t. Just to add you have to change ‘coach’ to explore if there is a coaching video for an issue. There’s not that many at present.
